Food was great and prices were reasonable. The vibe was 10/10. Wish we could've enjoyed the outdoor seating-it looked so nice but weather didn't allow. Service was great as well.

Another good lunch at T.J. Rockwell's. I had the soup/salad combo which was tasty. My husband had the French onion smash burger -one of the specials of the month. We had a late lunch around 2:30 so the restaurant was quiet. Our only small issue was that our waitress was probably not busy so she didn't check in on us...until my water glass had been empty for 15 minutes. We also had to find someone to give us our check. Nothing major-we will be back.

What a cool restaurant - only wish we sat in igloos but didn't need to eat outside this time. Visited this restaurant while visiting my parents in PA- and enjoyed our lunch. Bacon ranch fries were perfectly crisp and flavored- probably our favorite part of lunch. Crab cake sandwich was delish with fresh tomato and lettuce. Our waitress and staff were very attentive and friendly. The ambience of the place was nice and comfortable - especially for being our first stop after flying cross country. Next time I'd sit in an igloo.

Maui fish tacos & rhino fries.

Ordered Maui fish tacos with rhino fries. Presentation was the best part. I could not tell if it was fish or a napkin and the fries were greasy with bagged bacon bits. $28 plus tip later I was glad to wash my hands of grease and leave. Other items may be good , but this was not one of the items.

The outdoor bartender is by far the worst I've ever encountered. She'd rather gossip than actually pay attention to customers, or at least my group. It took her 15 minutes to take our food order. We almost left. Refills? LOL. I was ready to throw my empty glass at her to get a refill. I've been here many times. Might be last time. Really? QVC on the bar tv? My club sandwich looked like it was thrown on the plate. Sweet potato fries were cold. Nice bar ambiance. Too bad the service sucked and the food was disappointing. I didn't complain because I just wanted to pay and get the hell out of here.

I usually come to this place when I'm in the area. I can also count on them for good service and food. Today was no different. I had a salad while my coworker had a sandwich. The salad was topped with chicken and I'm glad there were not stingy with it!! We both had the crab soup too and thought it was just ok. Needed more meat in it. Then he ended with the world's smallest sundae. If you want just a little something sweet this is it. There is also lots of seating and parking. Always a plus!!

Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

The setting is absolutely beautiful. Their outdoor terrace overlooks a scenic garden area that looks like it might even host weddings--it's that picturesque. The ambiance is peaceful, charming, and ideal for a relaxing weekend meal, whether you've just finished a bike ride or are simply looking for a quiet dining spot in Marietta. The menu had a lot of fresh, well-crafted options, and the cocktail list was fun and inventive. I tried the lavender lemon drop, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lavender complemented the classic citrusy flavor--an elegant twist on a traditional drink. For dinner, I went with the jalapeño cheddar burger, which was flavorful, juicy, and made with noticeably fresh ingredients. The fries were crisp and satisfying, while my mom and sister-in-law each opted for different sandwiches paired with house salads. They raved about the house-made vinaigrette, which had a fresh, tangy balance. We also started with the whipped feta dip and gouda mac and cheese--both were delicious. The feta was creamy and flavorful, and the mac had a rich, smoky bite to it. Our Entrees looked so delicious that I forgot to snap a photo beforehand. Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and her suggestions were spot on. In terms of value, I was really impressed. With so many places these days serving tiny portions at high prices, Railroad House Inn stands out as a restaurant that delivers quality, fresh ingredients, and generous portions at a fair price. All in all, this was a five-star experience. Great food, beautiful location, warm service--I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially after enjoying the nearby Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.

But awesome all the same! For how busy they were, the server was very attentive and very accommodating as we were yapping away and constantly not ready with our orders so kuddos for the team and putting up with us! I love the mystery beer concept, its not great beer, but being from DC at like $2 a can, I am not passing that up, ever. And a cheap beer with a burger is the perfect combo! On to the burger... I have heard that this is a great burger... and I have to conclude that I agree though it is reminiscent of a Big Mac - just way better ingredients - it has to be the sauce they put on it... Anyway, nice size patty, good amount of toppings and a quality bun (not too soft, not too thick, bread soaks up some of the juices but doesn't fall apart). The mussels were quite excellent as well. It was a Thai curry broth the night we were there and it was drinkable, like soup... we did ask for extra bread... enough said. I am going to take a minute too and praise their spirit free cocktails. THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD BE MADE. They used bitters, tonics, etc to craft something that tasted like a cocktail but without alcohol which means they were not sickly sugary concoctions, but expertly crafted beverages. Just really great options. All that said though, their espresso martini was one of the worst I have had. Just skip that.

I requested an ice water and ordered the Shrimp Parm with Spaghetti ($14.99 plus tax) with choice of one side (chose mac & cheese) and garlic toast. The food came out in 12 minutes after I ordered. The portion of food was good which was comprised of 8 breaded jumbo shrimp topped with red sauce & melted cheese with a side of soft cooked spaghetti with a sweet meat sauce. The mac & cheese (orange) was very dense and rich. The thick slices of garlic toast were soft and buttery. After I was done, the check was brought over which was $15.89 with tax and before tip. I paid at the front register. Overall, the food I had was fantastic and I was a bit torn whether to choose a pasta dish or a traditional country homestyle meal. The shrimp parm was very tasty and hot as was the mac & cheese. The service was friendly and adequate. I was glad I stopped here instead of going to a smorgasbord restaurant, which was very packed and pricey. The meal I had at Ark House Diner was pretty reasonable.
