I have been bringing my dog here for years. My dog has some emotional problems. She has severe separation anxiety, fear of strangers and generalized anxiety. She can be difficult to groom. This is the only place that I feel comfortable leaving her. The owner is wonderful. Clearly a genuine animal lover. The prices are great. And they always take such care in handling the pets. I have never seen a scratch, or had gizmo unusually upset. You hear horror stories of how some places treat the animals but you have peace of mind when you come here. They have been in business for years and is trusted by many regulars. This grooming salon has some amazingly sweet people and they took my dogs in at the end of their day to get their nails trimmed without hesitation!!! By far the best experience you can get!! Amazingly well with dogs and the woman who helped me with both of my dogs made the nail cutting very quick and painless so as to not stress the them out any more. 100% will be back again to get them trimmed and nails cut. read more

I love this place!!!! I've been taking my dogs here for over ten years. I have some difficult pups that can put up a fight and they are always so kind and gentle with them. When my dog has had any medical issues, Cindy always gave me the best advice and recommendations. My dog Rambo needed cataract surgery and she was so helpful in giving my advice and information. They are all such compassionate people that go above and beyond every single time! I am so grateful for this place. I have gone to many groomers, but this one is one to mention. My dog is a rescue, and really shy/afraid of other dogs. He also has a lot of anxiety when he's away from us. The staff are so incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions about my dog, or about the grooming styles. They helped ease him into it. Service was prompt, and most importantly, my dog's cut is absolutely adorable! Thank you Whiskers, for taking such good care of our lil dude! This place gets four stars because the animals are treated well. I don't think the other places intentionally abuse animals, but I've had my share of groomers that cut up my dogs and it is not pretty. While our dog doesn't love going to the groomers, or even want to go into the store, he's certainly not terrified, like he was when he went to the groomer that cut him. Not hurting the dogs and not having a terrified dog is this place's biggest draw. They do tend to be very busy so other people obviously like this place. I think (though I'm not positive) that they're on the cheaper end of the scale. Really, I don't think they're that great of groomers. I have a fairly popular breed, so it's one that most groomers have a general idea of how to groom, but it's poorly done. I don't think they pluck the hair from the ears. Sometimes they don't do the nails. When they do, they're still rather long. This is understandable for a dog with black nails--don't want to cut him. But if they used a dremmel instead of clippers (like many professionals do), they'd cauterize the nails so they could get them shorter without bleeding them. No serious complaints about the grooming... just the things you'd think they would have learned in grooming school are lacking. My dog comes out trimmed, brushed, bathed and nice smelling. But there's more to a professional groomer than brushing and bathing a dog. So, big stars for knowing how to care for dogs and not cut them. Minus stars for not really knowing how to groom super well. read more

This was probably my worst experience at a groomer. I would give no star if I could. I took my maltipoo here for grooming and asked my son to pick him up. My son called me saying that they gave him a different dog!! He told them many times that this was not our dog but they insisted that this was our dog! My son told them that I can identify which one is our dog and which one is not but they said this is your dog and you need to take him. My son took the dog home and the dog did not know where he was! He peed on our dogs bed also he pooped in my sons room. So my son took him back to them and told them that it was not our dog! They kept insisting that my son is wrong and how he couldn't recognize which one was our dog. I had to leave work earlier and go to pick up our dog which they did not give him back to my son.This wa a big mistake made on their part and they did not even apologize for it once!! My dog is a part of our family and you can not imagine the stress we had to go through! Don't take your animal there they may loose them!!! read more

LOVE this place! The prices are very reasonable and they always do a great job on our maltipoo Bella. We haven't found a better groomer in the valley. The only downside is that they tend to take a while so expect your dog to be there the majority of the day. read more

Unfortunately, I am writing this because i'm so upset and disappointed in how my pup turned out. We have been loyal customers for over 13 years with two dogs. In fact, when we moved 25 miles away, we still continued to bring our fur babies to them because Debbie always did a wonderful job. This last time, our father in law was the one to bring our dog in. He didn't get him back until 7:30 at night and his hair was massacred. He's a schnauzer so the cut is important. Not to mention we were charged extra for something that I could have done in my bedroom with the lights out. Granted, and in their defense, he had a couple dreads under his neck and at his feet because he's got VERY thick hair (that we literally brush everyday). However, there are tools (Matt Breakers) that will cut through matted hair and thin out the areas. But Instead, she sheared him completely and it was sloppy. In places there are long hairs sticking out unevenly. I get an extra charge if he was groomed to a schnauzer cut and extra work was put in, but he was shaved with little regard to length or evenness. I could have done this myself and saved the money. I love the lady that owns the place so this kills me to write it, but Debbie has never been very nice and I'm sickened to know that we paid to have our dogs hair sheared horribly and nearly to the skin. I will never return and should you choose to take your dogs there beware of Debbie. read more

Never, ever take your cat here for grooming. The worst experience ever. My vet referred me to this place because my long hair cat had some matting I couldn't comb out. Upon arrival, there were nothing but barking dogs. The owner told me that the lady who was going to groom my cat was busy with a big dog "over there." Next, came in two big dogs and the owner told me to go wait in my car. I had an appointment, yet she told me to wait in the car while she took in the two big dogs. Totally treated me like trash, rude, unprofessional, no way to treat clients. So yes, my cat and I went to the car and left. To Cindi the owner: here is a professional and business like way to handle clients with cats. Open 30 minutes early or stay open 30 minutes late in order to just take cats who need grooming. No dogs for those 30 minutes. I am very surprised you never thought of that. If you did think of it, you should have followed through. read more

The ladies here are so gracious and do a great job with the my two lab/pitbull mixes. One of mine is not good with other dogs but they agree to take her in first, do a really good and quick job and we are out the door in a flash. This is helpful as it's not as stressful for my dog and the other dogs who are also getting pampered. My mom and I really appreciate that they take my dog in quickly and the grooming is still done fabulously. Pricing is fantastic as well. When I adopted my dog his hair was very overgrown and knotted. He needed a haircut and bath. I couldn't get in anywhere and no one was willing to work with me. My little Maltese, Sadie had her first visit here today. Cindy is a professional and sweetheart that you can just tell- is genuine and truly cares. Everyone working there seemed very very nice. I have had a horrible experience in the past, I am particular, and Sadie does have skin issues, so I had stopped in yesterday to meet/consult and check things out before I made an appt. They were busy, but Cindy really took the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted. She even took the time to call me to clarify part of the grooming when Sadie was there today. So so great! I really hate to give this place a bad review b/c the people seem really nice, but everything Danzi said is true. They really do seem to care about the dogs, but the grooming job was sub-par. They didn't clean my cockapoo's ears or ear hair, didn't clip his nails (when I found a new groomer, they commented that his nails were way too long), and they never seemed to trim his ears, tail, or mouth hair. It cost $35 when I took my dog (who weighs about 16-18 pounds), and the new groomer I took him to cost $45 but they seem to do a lot more work. Maybe if you are very specific about your request they will oblige, but they were the first groomer I ever took my dog to and I had no idea I had to ask for those things. In my opinion, they should walk you through the process a bit more. read more

The people that work here are true animal lovers :) I don't know about anyone else, but I want my dog loved and taken care of versus a fancy place.
