I went to Whiskey Park on a Saturday evening with some friends for a couple of drinks and some appetizers. We arrived right at the tail end of happy hour. We were able to order $5 drinks and some delicious appetizers. Brandy was our server and she was friendly and welcoming. As the evening progressed we saw some old friends and made some new ones at this comfortable bar. We left before the band started its first set and the place started to fill up. Food is pretty darn good and so is the atmosphere. Try the smoked wings! Almost all of the staff is super good and friendly. But there is one wiatress there that adds drinks to your tab. If you question her about it she'll lie and switch things around. This has happened 3 times now to me and we know it is happening to others. If she is not a liar and a theif, she is really bad at math. I hope management catches on soon, because it's going to give a good place a bad name. read more

The brisket was pure fat. I was very disappointed, chewing,chewing,chewing and my napkin was needed to expel the brisket. The waitress ask if I wanted a take out box. Great bar and great music. And at one point in the night I commented to my friends about how great the bartenders were. That was until one's attitude changed my opinion. I ordered a tequila neat with a lime. I like to sip it slowly. I'd only had it maybe 5 minutes and I turned and it was gone. I thought this place was going to be totally badass with their food, but unfortunately it flopped. I tried ordering yesterday, but they weren't open on Sundays and when I did get food to go today it didn't turn out as what I was expecting. I ordered the chicken and sausage jambalaya and the downfall about it was THE RICE WAS NOT FULLY COOKED. One thing I truly hate is undercooked rice. Something about the texture that completely kills the whole experience of a dish. If I do go back then maybe I'll go for the burgers or anything else without the rice. read more

I've been hearing alot about this new hot spot. I tried going on St. Patrick's day but couldn't find a parking spot. We went today for lunch. Outstanding ! I had the Country blend salad with shrimp. If you love savory and sweet, you will love this salad. My husband did a couple of courses, 1st fried green tomatoes...Warm and crispy with a really creamy dipping sauce next he had homemade chicken noodle soup, he said it was delicious and finally he ordered the deviled eggs, presentation was beautiful and they tasted great too ! I have high hopes for this place. We love happy hour places and we went for happy hour. Was not over impressed. Only 3 appetizers available for happy hour. All their signature craft cocktails are NOT included for happy hour. My wife and I both orders drink from the call list of liquors but were told it would be an extra $1.50 for those drinks. I assume too much alcohol for a happy hour drink. Many places in Naples include their craft cocktails for happy hour. Maybe this place will eventually get with it. The food was ok. Would stay away from appetizers next time. I am passionate about my whiskey so may try some flights next time in. We went here on Halloween because a band we knew were playing. We checked out the food and they had a limited menu at the time. We ordered wings and burgers. Service was great even with a huge crowd. The food was really good. The wings are smoked and then tossed in sauce... they were amazing. So I've checked out Whiskey Park twice now. The first time I got the Longhorn burger & the Fried Green Tomatoes (see photos) and today I got the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and the Ham Mac & Cheese sandwich. I love the look and feel of the place and they did an amazing job of removing the smoke smell from the old place (Captains Table). Service was attentive and friendly both times for lunch. The food was good and I am sure they will continue to improve the recipes and add to the menu since they are still new. ie. They do not serve sweet tea. (As of this writing) I highly recommend both the tomatoes and the gumbo!! Worth going there just for these two items! The Longhorn had a little to much BBQ sauce that masked the wonderful flavor of the brisket and burger which I tasted separately and was juicy but the burger was over cooked. When I asked for medium rare the waitress informed me they only cook the burgers to one temp (medium well/dry). The Ham Mac & Cheese was a large portion with perfectly flat top grilled thin slices of ham piled high on top of some very cheesy, but plain, Mac & cheese stuffed in a good size hoagie roll. All in all, I would eat here again and enjoyed the food but hope they keep tweaking the recipes and menu to reflect the New Orleans "Whiskey Park" theme. I have not had any of their signature drinks or whiskeys yet and they have a nice side room sitting area so I'm sure that would be fun to go hang out and shoot some pool with a few drinks and friends. read more

I find myself coming back to Whiskey Park almost every week and for good reason. Staff is awesome, food is delicious and there is always a great atmosphere. My friends and I love the live music on the weekends and that is the main reason we go. However, the only complaint I have with Whiskey Park is it is almost impossible to socialize once the band starts. The music is great but it is always one or two notches too loud. The bar would get a 10/10 if I could hear one thing someone said to me and didn't leave thinking I was deaf. With the crowd always changing it would be nice to be able to talk with people around you or even order another drink without bending over backward to get someone to understand you. read more

Yes! My husband is from New Orleans and I used to live there. We were so happy to see a NOLA inspired menu! My husband is allergic to shellfish, so we were even happier to see the gumbo and jambalaya was sans-shrimp. The decor was warm; has lovely rustic quality to it and the staff very welcoming and accommodating. We brought our two year old and he ate happily the whole time. Definitely a new favorite for us!! We wanted to have a nice dinner there, and when we asked the waitress could you turn down the music coming out of the speaker above our head, she said she didn't know where the controls were to turn it down. When we asked could we speak to someone who does know, she said she was the manager! So they hired someone who was oblivious to the TVs and music that were blaring out of the speakers!! She also had a BAD attitude when we first ordered our drinks. It is obvious that she hates life and herself, but she needs to learn how to treat customers with a simple request. In addition, there was no one else in the entire place. Just a horrible experience. So we left and did not order any food. She also charged us $12.50 for a small glass of wine. Handed me a drink because my tap was right in front of me. For my buddy, she poured half the beer and it sat there for about 10 min before I waived a server down to ask for his beer. My friends and I were extremely excited about this place but were immediately let down by all the bartenders attitudes. Your bartenders you didn't invent the Iphone. The service was inconsistent and they were cocky and rude. The music was so loud not to mention terrible, whoever tries out these bands needs to be fired.
