I'm gonna say this now, Landsdown is a place where if you trying to catch a game it's an excellent spot. Lots of TVs and fun sports atmosphere. When it comes to the food, it is hot and cold. For example, the revolution sandwich and the patriot sandwiches, are exceptional, but the chicken was very dry. If you want to be happy with your food get fries and a sandwich, those 2 are the staple of the restaurants best food options. Service is always good keeping waters full and great servers. love the staff and vibes of Shea's and they often have live music in the evenings which is cool. if you want quick service sit at the bar otherwise they kind of leave you be unless you get their attention (not bad once you know that's the norm). the food can be good but they have a large menu, and it's not all equal, so you have to know what's good... can't go wrong with the fish and chips or the clam chowder... the sandwiches leave me unsatisfied. read more

Great Boston bar/ pub near Costco. Wonderful outside area, one with covered bar and seating and another completely outside uncovered. Inside side bar too. Wonderful bartenders. this was my first time visiting Shea's , who is looking for a place to watch a game. We sat at the bar, the service was good prices were very reasonable. I had a bowl of clam chowder, it was delicious and full of clams bacon and potatoes. I got the chef salad which was amazing and the ranch dressing was clearly homemade and delicious. My husband got the fried shrimp platter. The shrimp were huge and the batter light and airy. I look forward to returning- nice hidden spot in a strip mall and clearly a favorite for football fans. read more

The sandwich I ordered (El tiante) smelled awful when it came to the table. I tried eating one bite and spit it into a napkin because I thought I was going to be sick. Sent it back ordered a different sandwich (french dip) which was ok but it took over a half hour to get it and the other guests I was with were already done with their food. Ate like 3 bites and packed up the rest. The service sucked as well and there were maybe 40 people om the whole place. Very disappointing Mothers Day meal.. read more

This is the epitome of a local pub that serves good food in a friendly atmosphere. The staff was great for me...engaging, responsive, and pleasant (which seems to be different from other reviewers' experiences). I got a grilled cheese with bacon added, and while the cheese is still stuck to my teeth, it was a tasty sandwich, and the bacon was some of the best I've had anywhere in town. The fries were also good, but not as advertised. They were promoted as "shoestring fries", but as the pic shows, they were sort of normal. No real problem, but "shoestrings" are different from "regular", which are different from "steak"... you get my drift. I would definitely return to this place as the potato skins look pretty tasty as do some of the sandwiches like the French Dip. Oh, and they have several Irish beers on tap, so that's a huge plus in my book! read more

I think everyone is aware the sandwiches here are awful and overpriced, the original location used to be good but that was a long, long time ago. This location is no different with the bad sandwiches. Flatbread pizza is okay, gyro terrible, wings said smoked- totally were not but they had a pretty ok dorito seasoning on them. Note to the kitchen: because they seriously misunderstood the assignment... It's chili with an 'i' Not chilly with a 'y' Don't serve it cold. Lot of fumbles going on in this sports bar! read more

So I see this new place and decide to give it a try, I walked in for a quick bite and I sat in the bar as always. So I had one, two bartender's walk right by and did not even acknowledge my presence. But they had time to chat and use their cells. So I played it safe with some wings and they sat under the heat lamp and I had to ask a server to get my order , because they were walking right past them and they couldn't bring them to me. SMH!! Wings were ok, for my first experience no bueno.... I also could see they use the microwave a lot, they left the kitchen doors open....why??? Anyway, maybe i will give them another try. Looking for an awesome restaurant to try with your friends and family? Are you drying for hot, fresh and yummy food? Then find somewhere else to eat!!! Shea's is basically a Boston style pub. Go there for the drinks, not the food. We ordered pretzels with beer cheese, dry rub wings and a fried fish sandwich. The pretzels were fresh from food service microwaved for 30 seconds before heading to our table. They served the beer cheese ice cold and we had to ask them to microwave it.. The cheese tasted pre-made too. All the food was tableside in under 5 minutes so clearly it was all pre-made too. Though I know a lot of places par fry so the food is extra crispy. In this case nothing was really all that crispy. The wings were OK. Nothing special. The batter was similar to what's used on let's say fried catfish. It wasnt a typical wing batter or dry rub. The rub was some off brand of old bay and was really just ok. The hot sauce was nothing special and celery I paid extra for was dirty. The fish sandwich was a soggy mess and was eaten with a fork. Again, nothing special. Even the cole slaw was from food service. Drinks were left empty and the service as well as the food leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I remember when Lansdowne was originally located down off of 5th Ave., and was saddened when it closed, because it was a really fantastic spot facing Cambier Park's Band Shell. But, now that they've reopened at this new spot off of Naples Blvd., it's been great visiting several times over the past few months to see how things are going. The service is always spot on, and everyone has been super friendly. My girl and I love the intimate and snug booths that allow patrons to sit up a little higher. There are plenty of outlets with USB ports for charging devices while dining. The happy hour menu is also great, where they offer 6 or 7 apps, for $5 or $6 until six o'clock every day. My go-to choices have been the "Baby Wedge" salad which is half the normal order but absolutely fresh, crisp and filling. We tried the smoked and rubbed chicken wings this last time and they were AMAZING!! They smoke the wings for a few hours, then fry them when ordered before tossing them in their house rub. It's got a touch of sugar to go along with that savory flavor, were crisp and so moist they fell off the bone. Great wings that I'd eat every day. Wow! The entire building is beautifully constructed with brick interior, brass finishing on the ceiling, and a touching tribute to the young girl Shea at the entrance. Ask you server for the story, it'll bring a tear to your eye. Lots of space in two separate interior rooms, plenty of TVs to catch a game, and a very large patio covered by a beautiful trellis to add some shade if you want to sit outside. After the last two visits, Shea's is definitely on our list to pop in for a quick bite to eat for happy hour when we're in the area. Well done, and best wishes for continued success. read more

The service here is absolutely terrible. Save yourself the grief and go to the Bonita location. We sat down, ordered drinks and appetizers and then proceeded to sit for 40 minutes before we were seen again. Once we were seen we found out the food was never put in. Food was great at the Lansdowne near Costco in Naples. My wife and I shared the Greek sampler, a huge chef salad and the "Monstah" hot pastrami sandwich on a panini pressed sub roll. Service took a little time to get going, but once the server got into her groove, service was much better. We were there during a shift change, so that could have been a factor. When taking pics of the menu, there was a server gentleman who seemed a little paranoid and didn't sound like he was a Yelp! fan. Maybe he'll change his tune once they receive more positive reviews. Anyway, the ambiance of this new location is way more nicer than the Bonita Springs location. Much cleaner, open layout and two bars; one smaller one in open air and the other inside air conditioning. I believe the open air area can also be closed up for A/C as well. The special was patty melt! Absolutely the BEST one we've had down here and we've lived here over 9 years. We used to go to the Bonita Landsdowne and loved it. Colleen and Shawna couldn't be any better because they are both fantastic. Love the great choices on the menu. The only way they can improve is to move out by Ave Maria. UPDATE on 5/26/23: BE AWARE this establishment adds a 2.5% Surcharge if you use a Credit Card. I'm not too happy to discover it added to my receipt. I called them and server Jordan said they are being 'honest' to show you the fee. She stated other restaurants don't tell you the truth but they add the fee to their menu prices. Myself and 2 others had our first visit and we went to happy hour which is 3-6 PM. Very comfy Boston vibe bar - two bars (one in and one out) and a patio with a nice breezeway. Customer service was outstanding. We had 3 different staff waiting on us. I ordered 2 of the $5.99 bar bites - small wedge salad and a loaded hotdog. Enjoyed each. The other 2 dining with me got incorrect orders back but they chose to eat it anyway. One diner ordered spinach dip but received queso. He ordered the shrimp basket which was skimpy. The third diner asked for potato salad with a sandwich but instead received fries with the sandwich , plus an extra side of fries. I think the problem is too many people working the same table and a breakdown of not getting orders right in the kitchen. The well drinks were not up to my standards. Most of the draught beer is $3.49 and a good bargain. They need to tighten up communication with the kitchen. We will try them again. Great atmosphere. read more

The place is nice to be at being from that area. Seemed to be pretty clean. Food...we have been going there off and on since it opened and foid quality has steadily declined. Son got a burger, medium..came out well done. It was dry and looked like it was cooked the day before. Fish and chips were ok. Nachos with grilled chx, mostly cheese. Chx hard to find $5 worth. Service was excellent. If only the food quality could get there. Unfortunately this place is on our forget list. The Bonita location is far worse. read more

We've been customers of Shea's for 8+ years and always loved our food and experience. We followed them from 5th Ave to their location by Costco. Today we stopped for lunch; two cheeseburgers. I don't even like saying it but everything was awful. How do you ruin a cheeseburger and fries? The "new" type of bun they have on the burger is like cardboard, not your standard soft but sturdy bun. The "bun" was thin, grilled and dried out, fell apart as soon as I tried to cut the burger in half. The cheese was supposed to be American, non-existent for the most part....so thin you could plainly see the meat through it and had no taste whatsoever. The sweet potato fries which I was told "came with the sandwich" were stale and old tasting, like they were leftover and reheated. When I put the kosher pickle slice up to my mouth to take a bite, I immediately smelled something fishy UGH. The (1) bottled beer I had was great We really and truly never had a bad experience here but today was just a terrible waste of +$50. - we still gave a 20% tip because it wasn't anything the server did wrong except did not tell me that fries she listed as a side were extra. Luckily I mentioned how dried out they were and she deducted them. Oh and they charge an extra 3% if you pay with a credit card! Found that out when we got home and looked at the receipt. I know they have great salads so I may go back with a friend and give them another try but my husband probably will never go again read more

My new favorite bar! I first discovered Shea's back in November and have been there a dozen times since. Love the vibe, the decor. The service is always great, the people working there are friendly and attentive. The drinks are well poured and prices fair. I have eaten there a few times as well and every meal has been a winner. Bar food, sandwiches mostly, but good non-the-less. So glad I found this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, causual hang-out. read more
