I had heard about Irish Times Bar and Grill from and neighbor and because of his recommendation I went to check it out. When I first walked into the restaurant it was spacious and had a friendly authentic atmosphere. After sitting down the waitress was quick to greet my table and take drink orders. I ordered a domestic pint of beer at a cost of $6 and pretzel appetizer for $10. The pretzel came with pub cheese and was enough for 3 people. It was warm, soft and tasty. For my entrée, I wanted to try something different so I ordered the "Bangers and Mash". Though the menu had all the other meals you'd expect from an Irish restaurant like Shepherds Pie, Fish & Chips and Ruben sandwich. My meal was $24 and was good but not great. I was expecting the sausage to be a little more flavorful. The sautéed onions, gravy and fresh tomatoes helped, but it was still a little bland. Very sad to report another bad meal here. I so wanted to have a good meal. It is a large space, attractive bar and it's Irish, so it should be great! The service was good, the food was not. You cannot have bad food in Naples. There are too many good restaurants! I have given this place 3 tries over an 18 month period and am disappointed every time. I am sorry to say. My husband and I really enjoy this bar. The food is tasty and the drinks too. They have a Jameson frozen coffee drink that has little tiny ice cubes that make the drink more special. They have a great selection of beers. We are the type of people to order a different beer each round. We tried a shot of Jameson too and it went down smoothly. People go here to watch football and once they had a car show. The women's bathroom is so pretty and always smells wonderful. The bartender that is Irish is kind. They have brunch with bottomless drinks. We usually come here for food and drinks before we go to the movies next door. read more

I really like the live entertainment they have at this bar, but it's almost impossible to go to just sit and have drinks and listen. The place is set up more as a restaurant so you have to get a table with service just to hear the band. Unfortunately, I can not eat at Irish Times. I have tried it several times and each and everytime, I did not like the food. If this place could just open up more seating for bar patrons, I would go all the time and I would tell all my friends. read more

Consumer beware!! Stay far away from this place, food is horrible and expensive, service is terrible and the manager with the goofy looking mustache is a terrible human being. Wanted to charge for completely un-edible food and then wanted to argue about it. It's time to send the health department in for an inspection. read more

Since my first visit, I have returned and I am happy to see that there has been a vast improvement. This time I sat at the bar my whole visit and did not have any food mostly because appetizer menu selections are not really catered to just something to munch on while having a drink or two or three (don't judge) The bar staff was exceptional this afternoon, she actually knows the correct way to pour a Guinness. The Irish Whiskey collection is very good offering a decent range of pours. We were fortunate to have one of the owners stop by for a chat. This restaurant/bar has a sign outside advertising oysters Rockefeller for a good price.(6 for $14) When I attempted to order them, the server immediately said they may not have any. They didn't. The host & hostess seemed to also know there were none but seemed uninterested in erasing the chalkboard advertising them out front. It seems like a poor attempt to get customers in the door with false advertising. read more

This is a great local-find tucked away in a strip mall. The ambiance is a little over-the-top for my taste. EVERYTHING is Irish inside... EVERYTHING from the ceilings to the artwork to whatever. Not a huge deal, but it just seems "over branded" for a local place! The food was tasty; I had the salmon. It was overcooked, but that's not uncommon if you don't live in the Pacific Northwest. Their "chips" (fries) were AWESOME, and I would go back just for another batch of those with their special curry sauce... definitely try these if you go. My cocktail (yeah, I got a cocktail instead of Irish beer... my bad) was uninspired. It was a nice attempt an an Irish Old Fashioned, but it must have sat on the counter a while as it was really diluted by melted ice. The flavor was overly complex and not all that appealing to me. Give this place a try... I've been a couple of times and will go back. Great spot to watch a game and hoot and holler with your buddies. read more

We had dinner tonight at Irish Times and as usual the food and wait service was terrific. We got home and had a brief scare where we thought we had lost my husband's phone in the bar. The staff looked everywhere for it with Layla going so far as to go out in the dark to search the parking lot for it. On a busy Friday night, this is going above and beyond what any of us should hope for! We couldn't have asked for more kindness and help from the staff. Thankfully we found it but will always be grateful for the care and concern and help from everyone we talked and worked with! We wanted to like this place so bad! The meal started off well. We ordered the curry fries. They were amazing. They were thick hand cut fries and the curry was full of flavor. We ordered some drinks. I got the irish strawberry lemonade. It was good but kinda average especially for the price. We ordered sandwiches as well as the soup of the day. My soup came without any brown bread thatvit was suppose to have. We had asked our server for the bread and when they brought it, the portion of bread to soup was very off. The bread was great but I wish there was more of it. The sandwiches came out with no sides. We had asked at the start of our meal if they came with fries and was told they did. When we received our food without any, we had maybe thought we were just told incorrectly and that they didn't come with sides.(it doesn't say it on the menu if it does or not). However the table next to us ordered the same sandwiches and received fries. By this point we were done with our meal so didnt ask about it. We had attempted to order a frozen drink and drought cocktails. They currently had neither of those. The lunch menu was kinda small in size and we wish they had offered more traditional Irish lunch options. Our server was very friendly and enthusiastic. What a pleasure stepping into this beautiful, new business on the northeast side of the Pavilion! We had a staff get together here yesterday to check out the new digs and experience a great Irish bar and restaurant in Naples. First, the design of the place is absolutely stunning. Warm, detailed and casual with comfortable seating all around from the different table styles to the very expansive bar. The woodwork in here is amazing, especially behind the bar showcasing the spirits available, wines and the Irish brews on tap from Smithwick's to Guinness! Slainte! They've got a huge projector screen providing film of Ireland's vast landscape as well to add to the vibe. The restrooms are impeccable and continue to add to the overall comfort of the experience. The service was outstanding, and every server we interacted with was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and grateful for our business. Food and drinks came out quickly thanks to handheld point of sale systems which get the orders in fast and you can close out your tab with the server at your side. There were several food runners during Happy Hour which was 3-6 with a nice HH menu as well. We enjoyed everything from coconut shrimp, deviled eggs (with crumbly bacon on top!), sliders, wings and Irish chips, just to name a few. Live music also starts at 6 p.m. I can't wait to come back and try something from the main menu, which I noticed had a ton of options including some gluten free substitutions as well for sandwiches. Stumbled on this local bar during a rainy vacation to Naples. Service was great, plenty of TVs and good drink menu. We started with wings, mozz sticks, and potato skins. Wings were great and potato skins were basic, they forgot the sour cream so a little dry. We ended up ordering food after a few hours and it was not good. We ordered a Sheppards pie and steak sandwich. I didn't even touch the food after a bite. A total pass. Go for drinks and maybe wings or try something else on the menu other than what we ordered. read more

Here for the first time. Disappointed. Not in a rush to come back and try more. The happy hour item, POTATO SKINS at $6 was good. The Fish from the Fish and Chips entree was good. But the French fries weren't good. Almost lumpy looking. Tasteless. Didn't like the side of Cole slaw. Like it creamier. And overpriced for what you got, $23. My wife ordered the 8oz. burger, only likes it medium rare, and no raw red onion, sautéed onions instead. The waitress said you'll get it that way. The burger came back nearly well. A tad of pink in the burger. There was the raw red onion. The entree went back and in a few minutes, got the sautéed onions. She opted for the side salad instead of fries. Have had better burgers in a host of places in Naples. And overpriced for what you got. $18? Geez. The soda wasn't tasting great. So $50 for a disappointing meal. We're foodies and have no desire to come back and try other entrees as we normally do. The staff couldn't be nicer. We wanted to like this place and it's in the neighborhood. Had things going on different nights but what can I say. Money isn't an issue. But too many things went wrong. What a difference it would have been if done right. Oh well. We popped in randomly and I usually love Irish bars... it's Naples, should have known better. Super clean and nice, limited menu, pricey. I wanted bangers and mash as I've had many times at other establishments but it wasn't on the menu. So I ordered the Rueben. "Piled high" is a joke. Complete rip-off. We all really enjoyed this place. I really can't find any issues with this bar & Grill. The service was good but could be better. Hence four stars. Don't let that deter you. You'll miss out and our one visit could be an anomaly with regards to service. Which wasn't bad, just wasn't great!! We waited much too long for drinks. Especially refills. We finished our meals before we ever got our refills which we ordered with our meals. First off the food was really good. We had the Irish stew, Shepard pie, and xxxx. Our other friend had the salmon dish. All our food was real good. Solid choices. The Sheppard pie doesn't look like much but it packs quite a big punch to your appetite. IMO, you don't need a big bowl for this. The beer selection is solid and the bar is well decorated. From the large Guinness and Harp tappers and display to the beautiful long bar itself. This place is definitely a must do on your list of places to hit in Naples. The decor is fantastic too. read more
