And then some. Jake's is located on near the southeast corner of UT's main campus. You can balk at the neighborhood, but it's fine by me. Not sure if I'd walk home while being TOO drunk, though. Service was fine. I'd say it was good, actually. The friendly barmaid was initially delayed as she in the midst of making shots for the 6 or 7 broskis sitting at a table. But she greeted me immediately, and when she was done serving the shots, she took my order without delay. I got my beer and pizza most rikki tik. But in all seriousness, this place had a very large menu with many different options to choose from, which I always love. I ordered the "club classic "with french fries and a side of the smoked Gouda mac & cheese. As you can see in the photo of the sandwich is a serious sandwich that was very large and I could only eat half of it. The ingredients were fresh and I loved how toasted the bread was. The mac & cheese was also quite yummy. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
