While my neighbors were waiting 6 - 8 weeks for the work to be done, TangleWood scheduled ours for 2 weeks out. Megan and another crew member efficiently took care of removing the old tree, grinding the stump, and planting the new tree. Jay and his tree removal crew are the BEST!…read more 5-star reviews (especially for emergency tree service) are coveted online, I know, so I don't give them lightly, but Jay and his team earned it (and then some). During a recent windstorm, we had a 40+ft pine in our backyard crack at the base and fall onto our nearby locust tree (thankfully it held and only brushed the house). Unfortunately, since the locust tree also split, we had to get both removed. Mind you, this was early afternoon and we had strong winds projected the rest of the day, threatening to push them both over even further, into the house or the neighbor's yard. Within an hour of calling around to various emergency tree service companies (and being badgered by HomeAdvisor), Jay picked up the phone, confirmed he could be out immediately, and was out to survey the issue in no time. He gave a fair estimate, planned the project for the next day (due to the winds still we had to push it to the next day for safety), and had the quote in our email inbox within 2 hours. Better yet, him and his crew were in our backyard on time (7 AM the next morning) and prepared for a full day to not only take down both trees, but take them AWAY for us too. They were all super respectful of our yard, pleasant to chat with, and cleaned up every bit of tree scrap that came down. Jay is an insured and certified arborist, an honest and respectful guy, and his crew was on time and 100% prepared. We will totally use them for all future tree service. #client4life
