I just had my third visit with Brittany and as always, I love my hair cut and color. The shop is always beautiful (clean, inviting, comfortable), and the service is excellent. I had pretty long hair and wanted to go a little shorter without it being too shocking of a transformation (it's still shoulder length) and each haircut at each different length has fallen perfectly into place with little to no fussing with it. It is from a technical standpoint just a great cut and very flattering. In addition, I just brought my 14 year old in for her first salon experience, and I really appreciated the way they fussed over her and drew her out of her shell. I went in for a cut and a color on August 1. I had not been there before, but went in based on all of the reviews. My stylist seemed very insecure. I had not had my hair done in about two months, so I asked for a brown color with some red. I asked for a shag style haircut. My color turned out really dark, and very red. My cut was just okay, and the stylist didn't even style my hair before I left. I have never been to a salon where they didn't style my hair after a cut and color. 5/5 stars- would highly recommend for anyone with hair- and CURLY hair!! I recently had my hair cut and highlighted at Whistle and Sway Salon, with Jordan providing my services. I picked this salon because it utilizes an abundance of precaution in dealing with COVID, but I was extremely pleased with the service I received once I was there! As far as COVID precautions are concerned, everyone wears a mask, including stylists, staff, and clients; work stations were visibly cleaned before, during, and after appointments; hand sanitizer was available in abundance; clients were spaced apart; and signs asking all to abide by these precautions were evident throughout the salon. I got an appointment at this salon in record time, after speaking to Kay, the kindest receptionist ever (!), within about a week of my initial call to schedule an appointment. Once there, I was greeted by Kay (and Naomi Campbell) and a clean and beautifully decorated salon. I was immediately taken back by my stylist, Jordan. It is the salon's policy to discuss pricing with you up front in an a la carte style menu. No surprises! Jordan spent ample time listening to what I wanted, provided pleasant conversation, and gave me, without a doubt, the best coloring I have had in my 5+ years of coloring. She spent extra time focusing on the details and also gave me a very flattering cut for, what I feel like, was a reasonable price with the best results. I have curly hair and have not always had the best success with stylists, but I love how Jordan cut and styled my hair! I have always left the salon, gone home, washed, and re-styled my hair because stylists often don't know how best to style curly hair. However, that was not the case with Jordan, who did a terrific job. My hair looked amazing as soon as she was done! That's saying something for curly hair. Additionally, the owner of the business was so nice and helpful toward his employees. He appeared to be a team player helping to keep things clean for everyone in addition to seeing his own clients. My stylist Jordan, who by the way is my forever stylist if I have anything to do with it, was so attentive and knowledge. She executed the style I was looking for to the T, cut and color. Not only did she give me a look I love but she helped me make the best decisions for the health of my hair. The salon itself is so quaint and beautiful. I spent more than 2 years growing out a beard without a single trim. I initially went to Bianca for just a haircut and slowly began to trust her with my beard trims.
