Kiley cruey completely botched my hair. I will say that Sarah rose and Kaitlyn are exceptions. I provided so many photos and she clearly ignored everything. My bangs are uneven and choppy. The dead center of it has a chunk of hair that is an inch shorter than the rest. She didn't know what she was doing clearly. My right side is a straight across bang and my left side is blended with the face framing layer. She kept saying blowout effect when that isn't what I wanted or asked for. Everywhere I've been, they've always started off longer because they said we can always chop off more. She did not do that. She just chopped them. I wanted very wispy bangs with face framing layers. She didn't not do that at all. These are regular choppy uneven bangs that sit a good bit above my eyebrows! I never felt more ridiculous coming out of the salon. During she asked what I thought and I said that the layers isn't what I want and that I want more layers in sections. She just did one side and didn't do the same on the other. She asked what I thought on the bangs and I said they're too thick and she turned my chair around fast so I'm not facing the mirror anymore. She said she still has to thin out. But they shouldn't even look this thick before thinning! I'm wearing a hat for a couple of weeks and going to my sister hoping she can fix some of it. How she cut my hair was like she watched one video and she learned at home. Her fingers stunk like a funky smell. Not food or chemicals but like bacteria under the nails type of smell. read more

I also need to use a purple shampoo now because while I asked for yellow blonde, I have bits of brassiness because the toner was on for maybe 5 minutes. I contacted her and she offered for me to come back in and she would redo the errors. By no means is she willing to refund a dime of the almost $300, with tip, I paid. So it's ok, it is just hair but I felt very taken advantage of, I'm a teacher... and I failed to ask how much because she had cut my hair before and those prices were reasonable. Keep in mind you'll have to park at the pharmacy across from it or parallel park Around the surrounding businesses. So make sure you prepare to arrive Atleast 10 min prior to park. You'll want to make sure you make your appointment with who ever is your stylist ahead of time. Because receptionist rarely answers the phone, so make sure you got all the info you need. The salon really opens up! The decor is really stylist and gives me country, plant, vibes. They offer snacks while you get your hair done like goldfish, coke, Diet Coke, wine, beer, granola bar, etc. I had a great experience here and I see that the salon has other services like mens , eyebrows, makeup, etc. Make sure To add them on IG to see pics etc. read more

I used to go see Taryin, before she came to Panther City Salon. Which should tell you a lot!! The girl knows what she's doing, in all areas. Especially when it comes to color! These photos are from a hair roulette session that we did back in February from this year. As you can see, Taryin is also ahead of the latest hair trends. She took me copper, before it became the new Fall color! I could obviously go on, but want to say one more thing. She is going to be honest with you on whatever your hair goals are!! Meaning, you can't go from copper to a kelly green overnight. And even if you did, does it make sense. "You might want to get a wig first." I really appreciate that about her!! I just moved to Fort Worth and have been looking for a new hair salon. However right now I have short hair and only need my bangs trim. I requested an appointment and my appointment was denied the night before the appointment. So I booked the same appointment with a different hair stylist from this salon and they never even excepted my offer! Neither of the stylists gave me a reason why they didn't accept my appointment or tried to reschedule. I don't understand why they wouldn't want to have a new customer but I will not attempted to book an appointment with them again. read more

I always love my hair, when it is done here it is always perfect however I am super disappointed by how the salon doesn't enforce all its employees or clients with their mask policy. I saw another employee disregarding the mask policy with their mask down, even when they were in a private room with another client. I asked my stylist if she could ask them to put it up, and when she did ask the other employee, the individual seemed confused on why they should. Why is there any hesitancy putting on a mask in a global pandemic inside a business? I am a strong believer in wearing masks and sanitizing hands. Masks work; and that's why the government asks businesses to enforce it. Masks are the way to prevent spread when we're all wanting to continue on our daily lives. When someone disregards wearing their mask, it could affect me, my loved ones and I already know someone who has died from it -- it's truly heartbreaking, irresponsible and selfish. I really really urge the salon to enforce their mask policy if they care about any of their customers. read more

New to Texas I desperately needed to find a trustworthy hair dresser and came across this salon. They have a great Instagram account that features the hair dressers. I came across Rain Glazebrook( @_babyrainbeauty) and looked into her work. I messaged her and we talked about what I wanted and in the end made an appointment this last Sunday. I am incredibly pleased!! She was a wonderful person to talk to and she gave my hair life again. It was almost 2 years since getting my hair colored/cut and she did a wonderful job at revamping it. I ended up purchasing some products from her due to my hair having a build up from my current shampoo. She also checks a portion of your hair (dries it once done) so you can see how you like it. Mine was very warm on top where she colored the roots so she tried to tone it more blonde but unfortunately it didn't work. Slight improvement but overall dissatisfied. She did offer to redo without cost but for over 200 dollars I shouldn't have to have my color corrected. I left the appointment wishing I had waited for my regular stylist who has never left my color looking like this. My sisters comment was that it doesn't look like fresh hair. So not a botched job, and i know im particular about my blonde, but overall if you have dark brown roots like myself you might want to try someone else. This was my first time at this salon so I got scheduled with someone I didn't I didn't know which was my mistake. Morgan was the stylist that did my hair. I came in because I had about 2.5 inches of my natural black roots come out and I have lighter hair on the bottom. I wanted to blend my roots and my blonde together. I showed a picture of what I wanted (which was a lot blonder than what I had). And I know it takes a while to achieve that as I have dark hair. I knew the minute she took my foil off that I was going to be brassy. I kind of asked her about it as she was taking the foil off and she said don't worry it'll be anything but brassy. I walked out of that salon with yellow hair and missed parts of my roots so my black is showing. I walked out of there with the kind of hair people come into the salons to fix. She didn't show me the back of my head and also didn't take an after photo, so that says enough about the work that was done. So now I've wasted my money and need to go to my original stylist to spend more money to fix my hair. I'm sure she is good at other things but I do not recommend Morgan for balayage or going blonde, especially if you have dark hair. Needless to say, I'm an extremely unhappy customer and will not be back. read more

I had a haircut with Tonya. The haircut looks okay, but I am still upset about one aspect. We discussed at the outset doing long layers and face framing on my hair -- all good. Once the cut was done and I was blow dried, Tonya used thinning shears all over my head! I was turned away from the mirror and didn't realize it was happening until she was halfway done. (I had assumed she was combing or touching up layers.) We never discussed thinning my hair or anything of the sort. I've had them used before when I had shorter cuts (and those stylists still communicated with me before using them), but my hair is long right now. Afterwards, she mentioned that removing the weight would help my wave, but I would not have wanted the thinning shears used if asked in advance. I was very happy with the thickness of my hair and actively use volumizing products -- I did not want my hair thinned! My hair was on the thicker side of medium, and now it's definitely closer to being thin. I had to do extra loops to make ponytails and some of my hair clips don't work anymore. It's not that my haircut objectively looks bad (which is why I'm giving 3 stars despite being fairly upset), but I am not as happy with the silhouette and it's disappointing that this won't be fixable -- I just have to wait for my hair to grow back out. Since she used the shears all the way up my head, and the length of my hair right now, it will be several YEARS before I have my real thickness back. read more

I just tell her what I have in mind and she does her magic and I always trust her to just make my hair perfect each time! I've gotten my hair colored twice and each time my hair came out perfect and healthy! I even ruined my hair before and came in to her helping fix it with the keratin treatment after we figured out a color situation for my hair. As an Asian American, people wouldn't think that we have a hard time with our hair, but usually we always have to go to an Asian shop so they know how to work with our hair. It was okay... I needed a curly haircut, and had high hopes since many of the stylist profiles said curly cuts. the one thing I was very vocal about was that I didn't want a triangle/tent shaped haircut when it dried. Curly girls know what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the triangle hair is exactly what I ended up with. The layers (essential to a curly cut) were essentially one inch shorter than the longest part of my hair. Ultimately, all the length was taken off my hair, and then one layer added that is consistently one inch shorted than the longest hair. It doesn't curl up. It doesn't follow my curl pattern. This is not a DevaCut or curly girl cut. Ultimately it's hair and will grow back, but I am going to go get a real DevaCut again to clean up the non-layers and tent shape. read more
