I see mediocre reviews of this place. I see complaints about it not cleaning the rims or the bottom of the fenders very well, and the prices.. I guess people are feeling Scamel'd out of a car wash. These machines are designed to clean a wide variety of vehicles, from the tiniest hatchbacks to the most monstrosities of trucks. The machines can't necessarily get in the cracks and crevices that you want. They have places that are willing to clean all those places or you could always buy the stuff yourself. I see complaints of the $10 price, well, if you look closely at the screen before purchasing, because you're in such a rush, there is a $6 car wash, which is (super) basic, but the free vacuums are amazing, they literally can suck the money right out of my bank account they are so powerful, and I would have no problems with that at all. I did not have a bad experience with Camel at all, to be honest, this is by far the best car wash I have been to where I can vacuum for free. They even give you clean towels and degreaser, glass cleaner, and a fragrance. Seriously how can you beat that? I will make sure that every time I want a quick, easy, and wash, where I had to do nothing at all, I'll go here. I'll help make sure that I'm not the straw that broke the Camel's back. read more

Amazing how the google reviews averages 4.6 and Yelp shows 2.7. Wondering if owners can delete several negative google reviews, hummmm. I would give it a 2 star review, 1 star for each employee working there. Purchased a $19 car wash. The bucket in the beginning that is suppose to have soapy water to touch on front of car windshield side mirror was just dirty water. The end result, major dirt still on front of car, mirrors, hood, rims. I figured let me vacuum and wipe down inside. No towel carts except way over by office. Cleaning solution to clean b inside of car, was water. Asked employee and he said yes, they are watering it down, use to have an orange tint with a clean smell. NOT ANYMORE! After vacuuming (that worked OK, I would give it a 3.5) I used cleaning towels which were very wet and after using "cleaning solution" the car had no clean smell and it looked like I was using a wet dirt towel to wipe. I went to the employee who told me about the solution, and I pulled my car up to him, so he could see the horrible cleaning on outside of car. First thing he said was, I don't need to see, I know, the experience has gone downhill. He said he would let me go through again, same result. I am dumb founded how this place is still in business. I went back to the office for a refund request. The young women working there said there is no management and here is the customer service number. I told her she needs to find a new gig, and she said I've tried to express the concerns I hear, and management said they are going to fix them. I said if it hasn't been fixed, your a smart person, RUN and find a new job. Called the customer service number and received a message of no agents available at this time, please leave a message. I left a message to call me, 2-3 hours ago and still no call. SHOCKING, NOT. I would not recommend wasting your money. I just found out that when I made a visit this year for a car wash, instead of charging me for a single wash, they charged me for a $49.99 plan that recurs every month. I hate subscriptions. I started using the Camel premium car wash Xpress service last year or even prior to last year really. While it used to be a great service, and everything was always stocked and ready and functioning, it is no longer the same business it used to be. I don't know what happened. I don't know if it changed management. What I do know is that they never have towels ready, the last two times that I went to do the car wash, the towels, left oil streaks on my windows indoors, because they weren't all the way clean, and every single time I've been for the past three months, the hoses for the vacuums have been malfunctioning. The price it's fine I guess. If you got the things that you expect to be able to use like the towels to dry off the car and the vacuum to vacuum the car out, but it's gotten worse and worse... To the point that today, I went To wash the car and they had no towels, six of the bays were closed with no hoses whatsoever, the machine wouldn't reprint a receipt, there was no one in the office, and I just gave up. It's ridiculous. I gave it a two for its previous good service years, but it's not worth it to purchase a service from them anymore. read more

The sign says "3 minute car wash"... But that's hardly accurate. You're going to spend more than three minutes just waiting in line to approach their ridiculous and confusing kiosk that blares for you to "choose a car wash". Then you will spend 10 minutes or longer trying to get the kiosk to accept your credit card for payment. There are stickers indicating the way to put your card in, but don't believe those because they're completely inaccurate. "Put the card in... No take the card out ... no you were too slow ... No, you have to turn the card around ... Turn it this way on the label ... No that's the wrong way ... Now you took it out too fast ... But it says remove quickly ... should I just leave it in? Interestingly enough, my card works just fine at every other retailer that I use it for, but it never works fine here. Odd? Yup. On a recent visit I went through this same credit card crap but since I was on my way to an appointment, foolishly believing the three minute promise, I really did not have time for this run around. It's my own fault really I should've never given it a try. At some point as more people tend to fumble with the payment kiosk it alerts an attendant who will come out and assist. On this day the attendant chose to service a car that came in after me and then he came over to my line and thought he would be... Funny? Charming? Engaging? I don't care because I had had enough by this point. I needed to get going and I asked him just to raise the gate and let me pass so I could leave. He told me he couldn't raise the gate. That seemed a bit absurd so I decided to press him ... I mean do they just want to keep customers trapped in the payment line if they change their mind? He patently refused to lift the gate. I asked again. He refused. Absurd! Then he told me to "get out of here". This employee actually told me to Get out of here" rather than making an attempt to help. I had to back out of the line inconveniencing myself and other customers. Really? That's how you handle a customer with a problem? I have used this car wash since before the camel crew came in and it's only ever been adequate. I was able to overlook the fact that some odd spots turned out on the car finish during one of their car washes back in 2018, because I know that car washes will always dispute that. But there's one thing that I'm not gonna overlook and that's rudeness. I'm sure it's somewhat of a hassle for an attendant to come out and man the kiosk but if that's what it takes then they need to get off the phone and get out there handle it quickly and professionally and be done with it. He keeps a straight face and even straight-up cusses out sometimes. I believe he works the afternoon/evening shift. He's the reason you have 1 star. Near the office and needed a quick vacuum. Saw the sign from the road that said Free Vacuum so pulled in and started to clean the car. Better car washes up in Forsyth offer similar service and even cleaning bottles and cloths at no charge. After cleaning the car for a few minutes an attendant approach to tell me the vacuum was only "free" with a paid wash. 5$ just to use the vacuum. Turns out the large sign on the building is a Trojan horse to suck you in. The very small sign on the actual vacuum paints the full picture. Didn't mind spending the 5$, but felt like it was false advertising - shady business practice. Will not be back and will avail myself to the higher quality car washes up in Forsyth/Cumming. read more

The car wash only made the outside of my car marginally cleaner. It will have to be washed again. Also, there were maybe 5 or 6 functional vacuums, all of which were in use, so I couldn't clean the inside either. I come here pretty regularly, not because it's a great car wash with exceptional customer service but because it's close to my job. As a matter of fact I've been paying for service that is of low quality. Every time I come here there is vacuum hoses hanging off not in their proper place, trash around the trash can on the ground. I don't mind that too much. However, Today is the LAST DAY I COME HERE! I just received ugly despicable service. I live on a tight schedule and every hour of my day is budgeted out and consumed with something, therefore I do not always have time to vacuum my car after a wash. I've skipped out on the self service 'free vacuum' a handful of times maybe 3-4 times. So when I arrived today, an employee had the audacity to come up to my window and ask "if I needed help" obviously in a smart remark sort of way. I explained to the employee that I was doing a 'self service free vacuum' and he rudely said "yes it's free when you get a car wash" so I explained to him that I don't always have time to get my car vacuumed after I come for my wash and he literally did not let me vacuum my car and told me 'that's on me and my fault for skipping out on the 'free vacuum'!!!! Can you believe the audacity of this man, to come up to my window and deny me something they owe me, on a service I paid for and yet it's claimed to be "free vacuum", and regardless the vacuum I was going to use is being powered whether or not I used it for 5 mins. So I proceeded to leave without vacuuming my car and I gathered the trash (paper receipts, fast food cup) from my car to throw in the garbage and he came out of the office looking like he was going to yell at me for using their trash can. I'd rather pay more money and drive more miles for a car wash that will respect their customers and treat them with dignity. The man seriously made me feel like I was stealing air. This is truly one of the best car washes that I've ever been to. They have all new equipment, and the wash does a very thorough job (as does the dryer -which is usually not great in most car washes). I was so impressed my first visit that I stopped and complimented the manager for having such professional, courteous staff and for keeping the towels cleaned and well-stocked. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. This place use to be good but somehow the last few months or more they have gone down hill. I have a monthly membership. The last 3-4 times I have visited, there have been no towels, trash everywhere, looks like a dump and most of the time there are no employees to be found. This last time I went (right before Halloween) I complained to a worker (no manager on site) and cancelled my membership. Today my account was charged. I called the facility today and was told that the manager would need to discuss with me how to handle my account. NO NEED TO DISCUSS. I have cancelled my membership with the proper notice and need to be issued a credit, what is there to discuss?? Do not go here! Their carwash damaged my car! I've read about carwashes doing this but never had a bad experience until now.

First, I must say I am surprised about some of the lower ratings. I have been going to another car wash place out in Duluth but when I got my newest car, I decided to research other surrounding area car washes. After comparing 6 different ones, I landed at Camel based on reviews and services offered. And before my new car's very first wash, I had already decided to purchase the Manager's Special unlimited wash, their top of the line offering. The whole process of getting set up couldn't be easier. The only challenge I have is specific to my vehicle. Apparently, my windshield has metallic particles and can block RFID readers. So each time I pull up, they have to manually let me through. I've been enough times that they recognize my car so it's a non event now. A great solution to a problem that isn't even their fault. The facility itself I found is very clean, and the wash and extras itself does a great job in cleaning the car. Before you enter the wash, they do a real scrub of the front, windshield and back. Not just the quick once over but dip the brush in the solution a couple of times and scrub back and forth. The areas to dry and vacuum are plentiful and clean as well. The strength of the vacuums...geez, it would pull our booster seats out if it could fit through the hose. I mean it's stuck to your weather mats strong. I love that because it gets all that loose dirt out! The best thing about the unlimited plan is that they have a few locations in Jacksonville, FL, which is a place I visit frequently throughout the year. So after the 5 hour drive down, I am able to get all the road grime and bugs off right as I come into town, all at no additional charge! I'm really sold on this place. in fact, I'm going to cancel membership at the other wash I used to go with my other car and move that over to camel as well. And if you're concerned about any damage to your car as you go through the tunnel with your baby, don't you even sweat it. I use them for my 2019 Lincoln Navigator as well as my 2017 Mercedes AMG. Its the perfect blend of strong enough to clean thoroughly, yet gentle enough to not damage your car in anyway. We did not see sign asking to waiting for assistance as the car in front of us didn't either .He was blatantly disrespectful to my husband and that's absolutely not the way to treat paying customers support a local business. So I just bought a new car and felt that I need to invest in keeping it clean. Camel Car Wash opened right down the street from my house. I tried the manager special package 19.99 a month for unlimited washes. I was impressed with the wash, the equipment, and the service. Basic car wash is $10 per wash. The $19.99 monthly package pays for itself if I washed my car twice a month. But the fact that I can have unlimited washes makes it a great deal. I have seen mixed reviewed but I'm completely satisfied with the service I received. If that service changes I will be sure to let it be known. read more

I came through this car wash last week and I locked my keys in the car by accident. The employee Robert was very helpful to me and even let me use his phone the whole time I was waiting on roadside assistance including leaving me his password to log in. That guy really helped me so much and he doesn't even know it. I really appreciated the great customer service from him. Best car wash I've been to hands down. Price ranges from $6-$20 for a wash and included you can then use their vacuums (super powerful), rubber mat washing station, they've got a shampoo/dry automated carpet mat cleaner and they provide you with 2 towels and glass cleaner and a degreaser. My favorite feature is they have an air duster that gets all the annoying dust and dirt out of the toughest places. Staff is super friendly and helpful! I love this car wash! It is super convenient, cheap and the location is perfect. I used to go to the previous car wash before it was renovated. Which I did like other people doing the work but hey, it really isn't that bad. After going through the wash, a quick wipe down and vacuum session takes about 10 minutes. They even provide everything you need. I messed up the inside console with a faulty bottle one day and the degreaser worked perfectly that you could not tell anything ever spilled there. The staff is pretty friendly. I go about twice a week due to having the manager's special and I love the experience. read more

I never write any reviews. If I don't like any store, I will just not going there anymore. But I was so pissed off when I went Camel car wash this morning. When I stopped at the automatic machine tried to select service, a very nice worker approached me and helped me on the machine. I had asked for the basic car wash service for $6. But the worker accidentally hit extra service button and my card was charged $10. I had asked for a refund. The gentlemen worker was nicely reach his manager to get me a refund. Everything seen so good. But when the manager(I forgot to take his name) got me the refund money, he showed me an attitude and said loud "You supposed to use the machine by yourself. Not let other people to handle it for you". Hey...what kind of customer service you treat your customer. Your worker was nicely greet people at the entrance. He offer an help for me, so I let him do it. I thought this is your company policy or service provided by your company. Then next time don't let anybody stand on the automatic paid machine and put a sign stated "Customer have to do operate the machine by themselves". Beside, I didn't ask for refunding after my car had extra service car wash. I ask the refund before my car enter the washing machine. That is not the end yet. After my car get washing, I parked on the parking spot to vacuum my car. Don't how many minutes pass, the manager came to me again. He said I only can used the vacuum service for 10 minutes which they stated a note on a wall. He said they were busy at this moment and asked me to leave. Hey please, I counted it only 9 vehicles at the building. You only opens 1/3 of your entire vacuum spot. If it is so busy, you have to open more space instead of asking customer leaving. Nope! Never using this car wash again! After getting a wash my car still looks the same. The top of my car is clean but the rest of it... Had to go home and hand wash it myself. It may have helped if the guys would brush it before going into the wash, but they only brushed the back. And not a very good job at that. They should have had a station for you to pull up to and brush it yourself. The machine they are using, you will definitely need a pre-wash. So I suggest pre-washing your car first and then go pay $6- $20 for the FREE vacuuming. Lol NOT FUNNY! THE MOST I EVER PAID FOR A VACUUM! read more

Price is reasonable at $7 a basic wash, but I have found spots on my car that did not get clean as opposed to a hand wash. (I don't pay anymore than the basic entry level wash because you don't get a better wash, just more accessories and liquid wax. If the car isn't clean from the washing, the wax and other accessories like wheel polish aren't going to make a difference). I like the fact that there is an attendant who soaps with a scrub brush the back window, but he/should also do the front windshield as well. I have found spots on the hood, one strip is 5' wide and an 1 inch long that didn't get clean. Keep in mind this is a brand new vehicle, that I was weekly - bi weekly washing. read more
