On the upside, the pressure washer car so you know the dirt coming off. However, on the downside, they pressure wash a car so anything else that's on your car could come off as well. The detailing that you can see in the pictures the people have posted is pretty synonymous with what I saw happening at the car wash itself. The way that they dry is with a an air gun and pressurized air. They spotcheck afterwards with a towel. The soap that they use is corrosive, so it is not good for if you have a ceramic coating. I do not recommend that if you have a plastic wrap on the front of your car or a ceramic coating that you go to this particular car wash. You actually need a hand car wash scrub by hand, dried by hand, with precision and that is not what is really offered here. I did not get my car cleaned by them. If you do not have a ceramic coating or a plastic wrap on the front or anywhere on your car, then this might be the place for you, because they did do a good job of cleaning the cars for the most part. Although, precision was lacking a bit. There was a nice waiting area the staff seemed pretty focused on her job. My mother has used them many times and she recommends them.Of course she does not have either one of the extras that I do. I was told that the price was approximately $33. That seems a little high, but it also seemed like they had extra amenities in place to make you feel OK about that price... Donuts, coffee, chips... A nice waiting area. Again, if you don't have a ceramic coating or a plastic wrap on your car, give them a shot. You might like them. However, IF YOU DO HAVE a CERAMIC CODING AND OR PLASTIC WRAP ON YOUR CAR, then do NOT go there. read more

I had a very good 1st visit and returned 3 weeks later. I had a lot of sap and dirt on a white car and they power washed. The price was reasonable for what I needed. The 2nd visit I had no sap but the car was filthy. The new guy told me the price for power wash would be $18.00 more than the first time. He reduced the price but to only $5 more than the first time. I am not sure how they priced it so much more the second time. I went inside to speak with someone at the desk. There were glasses on the table and conversation behind the door. After about 5 minutes, I attempted to call them several times as I sat at the desk. Each time no one answered. I also thought that for the temperature, they could have turned the fans on outside. I also wanted to leave a tip for the hard-working folks cleaning my car. Do they have ancillary pricing decided by the person outside? Are they shorthanded? I then spoke to the guy that took my payment and told him everything. He shrugged and said OK. They have competition next door and I will check to see if the owner is the same person. Happy Days Hand Car Wash is a moderately priced operation. Ownership has changed over the past year and the presentation has improved and prices have increased. I've noticed no improvement in the quality of the car wash. I highly recommend a walk around check of your vehicle after a wash due to missed areas and doors being left ajar or open. The car wash does offer free snacks and beverages, as well as tv inside the air conditioned waiting area, and a comfortable pavilion with cover and chairs for outdoor waiting. Excellent service! I drive a lifted truck with the 8 foot bed! So I have to do a hand wash, and they did an excellent job! We went on a day that it was super busy, but it was beautiful day and the location has a beautiful waiting area inside and out. So we waited in the sunny beautiful weather! This is our new favorite spot for all of our vehicles especially my big truck with the big wheels! LOL! read more

I got the silver wash and the exterior was great. They shampooed one of my seats and carpet very well. The only thing is it seems they missed my entire backseat and did not vacuum under the seats or in between (as pictured). I don't feel like it was worth $45. I wish you could tip after you see the car and not before because I would've definitely tipped less. I still have to go to another car wash to vacuum my car out. read more

Used to be my favorite go to hand car wash but today I waited for a $40 car wash for over an hour. Normally it would not be an issue since I have purchased before and they were just as busy but when I see people who sat down after me then leave!...my car was still sitting in the bay I became irate. If you care about customer service and honest business, don't take your hard-earned money here and find yourself another car wash. My husband grew up in the area and has been a loyal customer to this business from his first car all the way to our family van for over a decade. He took in our brand new 2019 Honda Odyssey Touring today with our 2 year old son to not only get it washed but also to show our toddler a car wash for the first time. Everything about the van was in new condition until Happy Days made a hole in the leather armrest of the backseat while mishandling the carseat cup holder. My husband calmly brought it up to the owner and the owner was very combative and told him that it was "impossible" that they were responsible and blamed it on our toddler... Riiiiiiight... Like we leave our 2 yo son unbuckled to run around in the car with an object sharp enough to puncture leather. That was a low blow. And when my husband told him he'd been coming here for 10 years, the owner rudely told him he didn't need to come back anymore. When the cup holder is pulled out, there is a sharp edge on the bottom. The cup holder was in the car seat before the car wash (as it always is bc we use it everyday) and was found pulled out after the wash. That sharp bottom edge fits perfectly into the hole in the leather... We understand that accidents can happen and also that there often isn't hard evidence for these things. But we don't understand how you can treat your customers like that, especially a local one who has trusted and recommended your business for years and even brought his baby in for what was supposed to be a fun outing. If you care about your vehicle and keeping your day a good one, find another car wash. read more

I have been going to this car wash since 2012. I experienced the most blatant form of racism from the Caucasien young man who stated he was the manager. I asked him if ladies still receive a discount on Tuesday's? He responded No. They no longer have this special to me the African American woman. Approximately fifteen to twenty minutes later a Caucasien women comes in and it's her first time there I know this because she stated her regular car wash was closed and asked if they had any specials and immediately the same young man stated Yes on Tuesday's is ladies day! I could not believe what I just heard. I was and I still am so disgusted. Please beware because if I would have known the way this establishment really felt I would have never spent my money there. I went here today to get my husband's car washed and got the Diamond car wash (exterior and interior) for 45 dollars. It is pricey but his car was so dirty so I decided to eat the cost. I expected the car to be spotless if I am paying that much to get it cleaned but I saw a couple of spots that were unaccounted for (spots under the spoiler that were not cleaned and spots on the car roof). However, the place does have a nice lobby and nice outdoor seating but I will still look for another car wash that will do a better job with a nicer price tag. I did go to Grand Slam car wash in Cummings 3 years ago for a deep clean and they did an amazing job (great service too) and the prices were decent. Although it is out of the way, 20 minutes from where I live, I think I will just have to make the trip for a good car wash. read more

Hands down the best car was I've ever been to. Always do an excellent job and don't cut any corners when it comes to cleaning the inside. We all know how frustrating it is to get inside your car after paying for it to be cleaned just to find yourself finishing the job. It is not overpriced and the staff is always friendly. I might as well of lit 35 dollars on fire. Did this place change management? I've been coming to this location for 2 years. Today (July 8th 2020) they did a horrible job! They literally just hosed off my car and wiped it with a moist towel. I've gotten better car washes from an elementary school fundraiser! In the past they took 40 minutes to finish my car, but they did a fabulous job! Today, they tried to tell me they were done in 10 minutes. I had to request that they take it back and vacuum it again because they missed so much. The second time they said they were "done" it still had bug guts all over the front bumper and windshield. What a crappy run business. It's been a month since I went there for my first and only time ever, and I am still in disbelief at the "service" provided, definitely not a value. After they "finished" my car, I went out and with my hand alone wiped off enough dirt on the rear bumper that I had to wash my hands. It was that way around the entire car. When I went to talk to someone, they simply "washed" it again, and it had the same problem. Seriously, do not go near this place, go right around the corner to Mammoth! I stopped in on Friday afternoon to get my truck washed and vacuumed, I've been coming here for years. When I pulled up, the owner's son decided he wanted to assess how "dirty" my truck was and charge what he felt was appropriate. My girlfriend has a little puppy that rides in the back seat and there was some dog hair in the carpet. The guy sat there for a moment, looked underneath my floor mats and then hits me with "it'll be $50"! The price is normally $38 for my truck, which I happen to keep very clean, and he told me that it would take them a lot more time to get the dog hair out when vacuuming. I've noticed that the price here continues to creep up since the new owner took over from the cute little Mexican couple, but that's where I drew the line. I told the guy that the price was ridiculous and proceeded to get in my truck to leave.....no comment at all from the guy giving me the price or the owner that was standing nearby watching. I went right next door to Mammoth, chose the $38.95 option for inside and out, and they did an amazing job with no questions asked! I should have given the owner of Happy Days my frequent visitor card, which had 7 car washes on it, because I will never be going back here. All of the new furniture and fountains are nice, but I would rather pay a reasonable rate for a quality car wash instead of paying for things that do not add value! read more

I live and work very close to this place and have watched it grow to a very successful business and I have been a customer for about 10 years. New owners have really improved the personal touch of amenities for when you are waiting for your car to be hand washed. Prices increased a bit but you pay for the amenities. The car wash remains the same which is typically done satisfactory and they don't hesitate to correct any concern you may have. I have BMW, MB, Ford, and Acura, and each car has been treated with care. I have purchased t he detailed work and the cars I have been extremely satisfied. I am surprised about the reviews with complaints because I have spent time there almost each month and never seen or heard of any complaints. This is a good place to go. read more

Erick basically called me a liar. He would not honor Happy Days gift certificates from about 10 years ago. He didn't try to find a solution. He made up a story that I printed out two certificates and brought them up to his car wash to get a free car wash. I have been a customer for over ten plus years and this is how I am treated. I basically was giving him two free car wash certificates for one wash. Be careful if you buy any future gift cards as they will likely not honor them as well. I would not recommend Happy Hands Car Wash. I went to get my car washed there after there was quite an influx of pollen in Norcross, Ga this spring. They proceeded to tell me that my car was "too dirty" to clean and even if they could clean it, they would have to double my charge to about $25. I was surprised, but desperate, so I told them that the up-charge was fine. They then said that they would clean my car but that they were quite certain that most of the pollen would not come off. At this point in the conversation, my boyfriend (the passenger) said to go ahead and leave because that statement was ridiculous. I then drove next door (literally) to Avril Car Wash who immediately took my car, charged me only $11 and got my car to look brand new in a matter of 10 min! After ignoring the tire pressure warning light on my dashboard for a week and having to eventually make a trip to Dekalb Tire, I felt like I owed my wonderful Chrysler Crossfire something.... so I stopped by Happy Days Hand Car Wash while I was up in Norcross. Happy Days is located in an old bank building on the corner of Spalding Dr. and Holcomb Bridge Rd. It's behind Avril's and not easily visible from the road. It's pretty spacious and can accommodate a good number of cars at one time, so everything moves pretty quickly. After pulling in and selecting the car wash option you'd like, you pay inside at a counter that was obviously where the bank teller was back when this was a Wachovia or a SunTrust or whatever. The inside is very clean and pretty sparse, and there's a kiosk of random trinkets and car accessories for sale (a Gorton's Fisherman keychain for $1 caught my eye...). Service was fine - no smiles or friendliness, really, but no attitude or grumpiness, either. There were about 6 or 7 other customers on a Wednesday afternoon, and I doubt I waited for more than 15 minutes. No habla inglés so much at Happy Days, so it's a good opportunity to brush up on your español. I'm a bit rusty on my Spanish car automobile vocabulary, but English got me by just fine - no worries, americanos! My car looks infinitely better, but it wasn't the best washing job in the world. There was some streakiness and the windows weren't so great, but $12 for an exterior-only hand car wash?! Nice. Sure, Happy Days ain't no Cactus Cantina, but it gets the job done.... for cheap. read more

I was in the area needing a car wash, I'm usually a Cactus Car Wash customer but didn't have the time today...Not impressed with the prices, in fact I think the gentlemen was hiding the price for the basic wash. I've never had to pay more then $20 for a basic car wash, I paid $27 today. Once the car was ready, no one calls you to say it's ready and would you like to review our work. Encountered two employees arguing and the manager could care less, trying to get the next car in. I was in a hurry and checked my car at my next destination and found crumbs on the floor of the back seat...don't think I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place provides the best hand wash in the area. My car is clean inside in out and the always wash my rubber mats.

Have to be careful with this place. The staff does about the same job no matter what wash you pay for. Paid for a gold wash on my SUV. They did not wash the mats when I told them they only washed the front two. Did not wash the mud guards had to ask them to wash them. Still bugs on the front of my car asked to get those cleaned. Did not do a very good job. There were other thing a that came with the package they did not do. Have been here before and have gotten better service but must say did not ask for a better package. Was kind of up sold this time never again. All in all very disappointed in the service I received today. Got a "silver wash", their lowest price wash that includes interior service. The waiting room was comfortable and the speed of getting the job done was good. The quality of the clean, though, was not very good. I spent about 15 minutes after getting home cleaning off fingerprints from windows and door frames. Smudges and streaks on the inside of the windshield reflected the sunlight on the way home, which was a nuisance for driving. A lot of this wasn't obvious when I walked around the car at the car wash, but it became very obvious as light hit the car from different angles after driving home. At $30 plus tip, I expect not to have to finish the job at home. I will go elsewhere next time. read more

My car is parked outside under a tree. Silver. the tree droppings, etc. covered more than 50% of the top of the roof (is is not much of an exaggeration!). I got the premium and paid a very small up charge to clean the roof. I cannot believe how great the car looks! Like new. I really thought the roof was impossible to clean...what a wonderful surprise. I'm will certainly go back. The price for the extra attention and hand wash was definitely worth it. Now waiting area. Had plenty to do, so was not aware of how long it took.
