Amazing views and delicious food! We had dinner tonight after a flash tattoo event and ate in the lounge area. The staff was friendly even though there was an unusual rush of customers. They all worked really hard to see to everyone's needs. The food was great, I had the Bistro Steak Sandwich and loved the combination of flavors. Highly recommend the beautiful drive up!

We loved our stay. The location is gorgeous with a creek nearby that was beautiful . The people at the front desk were super helpful and pleasant. Stayed in the bungalow and loved the hot tub. The privacy was very nice and we appreciated how comfortable the bed was. Overall a great place to stay and we will visit again!!!

Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is hunting lodge style. River views from the main dining room bring nature directly to your table. The bar dining room is cozy and also hunting lodge style with trophy game displayed on the walls. They have an extensive gift shop that includes souvenirs and items such as clothing. We sat at the bar, where our server Stevie served up the most incredible Bloody Mary which included maple bacon, jalapeno, pearl onion, pickled asparagus, olive, and lemon & lime. Who needs an appetizer after that? We split a She was also very attentive to our needs as well as to others sitting at the bar. This place has been operating since 1957, and by all appearances has grown continuously since. There's nothing else around here for fifty miles, so be sure to stop in when passing by, and I'd also venture that this place is worth driving that fifty miles if it fits in with your destination route, and a must-do if you're visiting Mt. Ranier. Highly recommended experience, a type that is becoming harder to find as time goes by.

The scenery about this place is just extraordinary! As you walk in, you're taking in the beautiful sight of mountains covered in trees along with the perfect view of the ever flowing river in the background. The service was awesome with friendly staff ready to take your order and the delicious breakfast was something else ! (I'm not a big breakfast eater) so that should tell you a lot lol. I can't wait to comeback for a dinner date to try out !!! Definitely recommend this drive and this place!

I agree with the previous recent post that the service has improved significantly since our visit here a year ago. For a while they wouldn't let anyone sit in the dining room at lunch where the view is. They made you sit in the bar with a view of the highway. Service was great and food was good too. I do wish they would update their menu with healthier and more upscale options. Also some comfort food would be nice...chili, pot roast, turkey and gravy dinner, etc.

Cute place out in the mountains! Beautiful setting along the river. There was only a few patrons when we arrived but it filled up fast! It looks like their understaffed sometimes so it can be longer wait times depending on when you come. The food is usually pretty good with good quantity for the price you pay. There is also a super cute gift shop out front where you can find little knick knacks, stickers, girly stuff, earrings, candy and more!!!

Stopped in for lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated, our tasty beverages came right out. We shared a prime rib sandwich, rib meat, cheese, onions, and mild horseradish; very tasty. We also had garlic fries, delicious. Next time you drive by, give this place a try.

We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, walked in about the same time as a couple large groups, our waitress/bartender Stevie was awesome, didn't miss a beat, was very polite, took orders , got drinks out quickly! It was refreshing to see her handle the room without getting flustered. The food showed up cooked perfectly, all sides and sauces as ordered we will be ba

I had a single tall jack daniels and coke, which was delicious. The bartender was generous with the pour. All the food here is made to order and came out hot, fresh, and filling. I highly recommend the squatch burger. It is half a pound of ground beef with an egg on top. It was exactly what my husband needed after our adventure. My son raved about the flavor in his pizza. He said the crust itself tasted different than other pizzas and he loved it. They go heavy on the sauce. I enjoyed my shredded chicken nachos with freshly sliced jalapeños. Their jojos were gigantic! Try it with their fry sauce. Come eat here when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Having dined on many occasions the menu has many changes which is fantastic for a foodie always needing a flavor change . After ordering we adored the restaurant decor and talked about work. Food arrived relatively quickly and we wasted no time digging in. The Benedict was very well made, not over sauced, and cooked well. The French onion salad dressing was epically good. I highly recommend. Overall the experience was great and service was decent. I would certainly come again and I will recommend to anyone passing through.
