There is some additional seating up front which is not technically period appropriate, but it's low key and neutral enough that it doesn't spoil the atmosphere. I recommend sitting at the counter for the full diner experience. The menu has all the usual, with options for smaller sizes and individual items à la carte, which helps to keep prices down and avoid food waste. Did I mention, they have great coffee? Tastes like what I would make at home. They serve it in heavy porcelain mugs in the shape of the traditional Victor diner ware mug, but sized up for modern sensibilities.

They don't let you order and wait to be seated to help lessen the crowding. Pro tip: the city park behind this building is much better spot to wait for your food.
