This week we are staying here for the last time. Although we have treasured memories, we can no longer tolerate the sub-par and overpriced accommodations. The carpet is filthy. The kitchen is not stocked with dish towels, serviceable spatulas, serving spoons, potholders serving dishes, large sauce pan, dishwasher, decent coffee or a coffee pot. The mattresses are worn out and saggy. The sofa is past end of life. The lighting is badly designed. The electrical outlets are so worn out that a two-prong power block will not stay plugged in. Although the addition of WiFi is welcome, the administration of the system is awful. I could not log in with both iPhone and iPad because I failed to save the password the first time I signed up. The personal hotspot is blocked, so I am no unable to log in with my computer. The single commode, shower stall and sink for a group of five adults is inadequate. It breaks my heart to post this review. We have loved being here over the years. I would be delighted to read reviews in the future about the amazing renovations.
