The downtown Hillsboro location closed at the end of last year which is sad for downtown because it was a really cute shop with a nice selection of current clothing styles and home decor and gifts. I found some really unique cards and gift items here and I loved to browse their latest selections when I was in the area. But it's ok because a new location is currently open in South Hillsboro on Blanton street, which I find to be more convenient because it's located close to other stores that I frequent more often. read more

I absolutely love White Birch products. My only complaint is when I go in there is no social distancing effort made and the owner/workers do not wear masks nor is there any barrier between the cashier and the customer. The customers in the store weren't wearing masks either so I was the only one. I didn't feel comfortable shopping long. Hoping this changes as of June 24th when masks are required. This store has such cute decor! All of which seems to be quality. However the employee/manager/owner (whoever she was) was not personable or friendly at all when we attempted to ask her question even though there were no other patrons in the store and she was simply standing at the counter. Tip: be nice! Be personable, it's a cute little farm house store it should have a small town feel! There is no harm in making your customers feel welcome! There is no harm in engaging in a conversation. We tried, and you were so dry . You lost sales tonight, and future sales simply due to your personality tonight. read more

I really wanted to purchase many items from this store but I refuse to purchase anything from a store that has zero customer service....especially when your the only customer in the store. I never was greeted or asked if I needed any help by the young associate that was scrolling away on her smart phone. I was recommended to go into to this store by many friends, coworkers and designers helping me with my home. Sadly this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I rather buy local and place my money into stores like this one sadly that wasn't the case. read more

A must shop, shop! Have been here many times and of all the shops, grocery stores, restaurants etc. that I've visited during COVID, by far the most respectful of social distancing, one way entrance exits, etc. when hand sanitizer is a hot commodity right now, it was refreshing to see that it was readily available as soon as you walked in the door. Curb side service is available if needed! If you're feeling hesitant to shop, etc. with the current pandemic, this is the place for you!
