We find the store's owner action to be very unfair and certainly create mistrust in a small business environment. We hope that Ann will do the right thing very soon. They gave me a nice drive and it was not terrible to get there or home from the shore to the New Braunfels area. The store itself is in the end of a strip mall. Inside the store. The item we got my wife called ahead for and asked if they can hold it for a day and they were willing to do that. All in all we really like the store for a number of reasons. Outside of getting a great deal, another big concern of ours is the textile waste and product plastic waste from getting new toys, clothing and baby items. They often outgrow them quickly and while the items may be small when you're constantly buying new contribute to landfills. Shopping at consignment shops like this are a great way to help combat that by making sure gently used goods don't end up in the garbage. If you are mad because they wouldn't take your stuff, one of two things is likely true. One, your stuff is not as good as you think it is. Two, you did not read ahead to find out what items they are currently taking. Remember, you are giving them things you do not want. Don't be so arrogant to assume that anyone else will, let alone someone who would like to sell them. The truth is that this is a great store, particularly for sports related items and winter gear.
