This is NOT the place to go for FAST food. Maybe plan on spending an evening - so bring a date! The people working here are doing bare bones minimum for keeping a job - we walked in the door and went straight to the counter to order and waited 5 minutes before we were even acknowledge. Everything is under lock & key (even the bathrooms) so make sure to ask for condiments when you grab your food. We went in the directed door and ordered takeout and left the directed second door out. The service was positive but slow. The neighborhood is a multi-ethnic one that reminds me of what a melting pot Nashville has become. It seems that there are fewer White Castles in Nashville. We had business in the area and needed a quick eat. The food was hot and good. My wife and I split a slider/fry meal between us (plus a second drink). My historic preferences have been chicken rings or fried clams. I didn't see the clams on the menu when I scanned it. My wife preferred the sliders and they were good. I love White Castle, the taste is so unique. This location is also a Churches Chicken, however this review is for the White Castle. The food was hot and fresh. The staff could have been a little friendly however.They just took my order and that was pretty much it, no smile or anything. Everything else was great, the food was outstanding. I have never, ever, ever even been inside a White Castle but after the Titan's game the other day we just had to drive thru to try out the "newly renovated" White Castle. I have mixed emotions because the Cheese Sliders were so good that I was happy I tried them, but now I'm mad because I want to eat them every day. The bread was so fresh and soft, pickles and onions were crunchy and the cheese was perfectly melty. The only reason why I cannot give them 5 stars is because of the packaging. Good place, good crew, awesome people. Me and a friend eat here regularly for breakfast before work at 4 am. Definitely worth putting in a rotation of places to get food at. Bit greasy but people used to such foods should find no trouble. If grease bothers you, I find soda helps it go down better. I will never return to this White Castle location. The service was terrible, they messed my order and upon giving me what I actually ordered, I noticed that I was charged for the wrong items. When I asked them to re-calculate my order the Manager claimed that the charge was the same (which it wasn't since I was charged for cheese when I didn't want cheese on my items, remember that a slice of cheese cost $0.50 cents extra). Bottom line they kept an additional $1.75 on my tab rather than reimburse me for the over-charge. Not much money to say the least, however it was about Customer Satisfaction and making "right" what was "wronged". File a compliant with Corporate and the Regional Rep send me a "coupon" for a free me with his sincere apologies, however that coupon has yet to be redeemed.
