Wow, is all I can say! Our best meal while we were in Nashville for a concert. Love the vibe and location. Casual enough but also a little upscale, perfect mix. Service and food were both amazing. Can't wait for our next trip. This is a must stop!

We spent the entire weekend in Nashville and didn't do a great job in finding good spots (at our own fault). We ended up stopping at the finch for brunch before getting on the road and it was AMAZING. Our server Paige L. was so sweet and helpful during. The place is beautiful!!

The Finch is a fantastic addition to the Nashville dining scene, and I've had consistently great experiences here. On my most recent visit, my guest and I started with the rock shrimp, which was perfectly cooked. The sliced scallions weren't over-seasoned, and the spiced peanuts tied everything together beautifully. It's also a generous portion--honestly large enough to enjoy as a main course, which I've done before. We also ordered a few house cocktails, all of which were well-balanced and refreshing. For our entrées, I had the roasted herb chicken while my guest ordered the filet mignon. The chicken was cooked well, and the citrus jus added brightness without overpowering the dish. The broccolini was a perfect complement. My guest's filet was also excellent--cooked to a perfect medium rare, with sides that paired nicely overall. That said, the tobacco onions and demi-glace leaned a bit heavy and slightly overpowered the plate. We added a side of the Alfredo mac & cheese, which was decent, though it had a breadcrumb topping that I personally don't prefer--even at a steakhouse. Service was friendly and attentive, though it could have been a bit quicker at times. Parking can also be a bit challenging, which keeps me from visiting as often as I'd like. Overall, The Finch is still a fabulous restaurant with thoughtfully prepared dishes and a great atmosphere--I'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for my birthday. Our server, Savanah took such great care of us She was so helpful and friendly. She offered honest feedback and menu recommendations. Throughout our meal, she checked on us and had the staff come out when she brought dessert for a special birthday song. It was such a kind gesture and I was so grateful for that moment. It really made my birthday extra special. The food, the staff, the service, the ambiance. The Finch gets it right.

From the moment you step inside, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and cozy warmth, making it ideal for both a special occasion and a casual night out. Just a heads-up, though - if your high heels lack grip, the floors can be a bit slippery! I've almost lost my life couple times. I've chosen the Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon: it was a flavor explosion! And their French 75? Absolutely divine, I've had 2 glasses! I did had a taste of the Shrimp and Grits and it was great as well. The staff are knowledgeable.

Located across the street from the Frist Art Museum, we stopped here for brunch after enjoying the museum. The light and modern decor really elevated this spot. Our server at this visit was Reed and he really made us feel so welcomed. He gave us some great local recommendations and was just so friendly. We ordered the chicken and waffles which was a 10 out of 10! My husband enjoyed his biscuit and gravy breakfast plate. Our side order of fries paired well with the gravy. Definitely one of my favorite meal while in Nashville!

The Finch was a recommend placeh to try. We went for Dinner. We started at the bar with some drinks, a Blanton's and then Bardstown White Label. They were just OK for me, I love tha Black Label Bardstown. We then got the Volcano Rock Shrimp with the Volcano Sauce, Spiced Peanuts, and scallions. Good appetizer to start. We were seated in the bar area at a cozy table. We both got the Filet Mignon. A Filet should be able to cut with a fork imo, I couldn't cut this one. The steak was not tough, just not fork tender or melt in your mouth. I was not expecting it to come stacked with the Demi Glacé on top of the steak. A filet I like plain and want to taste the quality of beef, not mask it. You cover a sirloin in Demi Glacé, just a plain filet. The steak still had really good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were excellent with the steak. The tobacco onions were a nice surprise. I would get this again, but with the Demi Glacé on the side. The whipped potatoes were very smooth and excellent with the Demi Glacé. The staff were all friendly and professional. I would definitely come back and try other dishes.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Thursday evening and we had a wonderful experience! We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and had a beverage at the bar prior to being sat. Our server was great! We ordered the Valentine's Day special appetizer, the oysters Rockefeller. They were delicious! The French onion soup was good but a little on the darker side than what we are used to. And we shared the short rib for dinner - the kitchen split it for us and it was delicious! High recommend making dinner reservations for this place!

Shout out to Cody who made our bachelorette group's dinner here a great time! He was attentive and funny, blending right into the group. We ordered the champagne problem which included 12 mini bottles of champagne. The poke bowl I ordered was so-so - I would not get it again. Some of my friends had the shrimp scampi, which they really liked. The seven layer chocolate cake and warm cookie (red velvet with macadamia) were delicious!! Food came out much faster than we expected. All in all, a fantastic experience!

Dined with a large group for a birthday brunch and we were seated in a large booth. Server was professional and accommodating overall but the restaurant is very busy Siri t brunch and at some points we needed his attention and he was taking customers order on the other side of the venue. When the food was brought out a different gentleman presented the meal and got them confused with each patron and was not able to clarify our questions or what each dish was (there were 2 steak dishes and he should know not us having to guess) and 5 people had either dish at the table. The cocktail selection is diverse and the drinks are worth it. Overall, most people enjoyed their main dish (appetizers were delicious). This was my third time here (previous visits for dinner). Parking is complicated and not convenient--paid lot parking, street parking, drive up and drop off capability.

Wonderful modern atmosphere and attentive service, with great food. What more could you want? We had brunch and decided to split the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, which they divided on separate plates for us. After that, we needed a sweet treat, so we ordered the French toast. Both selections were the server's recommendations and are fantastic choices. Can't wait to come back and have dinner.

I went to The Finch for a quick lunch and it was great. The hostess sat me right away. I ordered the French onion soup and a salad. The soup was delicious and perfect for how cold it was outside. The Christmas decorations made the place feel really cozy and put together. My waitress was really sweet and paid attention without making it awkward. She noticed I was in a hurry and kept things moving, which I appreciated. I didn't have anything to complain about. I'd definitely come back.

We had brunch today at the Finch and it was INCREDIBLE! Such a cute little restaurant...nicely decorated, great lighting, kind waitstaff. Our waitress, Madison was very helpful and fun. We had terrific meals: shrimp, and grits, chicken and eggs, the cowboy queso, and Brussels sprouts. Great experience.

After about 15 trips to Nashville, my wife and I have developed a routine…read more Get to town. Drop off the bags. Head to The Stillery. It's usually our first dinner stop every single trip. This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion. The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils.
