Absolutely incredible foodie spot! If you can look past the pretension, the atmosphere, food, drinks, and vibe are immaculate here! We came in for the first time ever on a surprise date night my wife planned for us. Neither of us had ever been here or experienced what we were about to experience. Such a culinary treat! We went intentionally to share several small plates/tapas style and a few drinks. We were not prepared with just how good everything was! It all came out in quick fashion after we ordered. Perfectly portioned, nicely seasoned, and supremely fresh and delicious. I've attached photos of all we received to this review. If we lived closer, we'd come again and again to this place to taste more of their items. There was so much more on the menu that we want to try! Well done, Finch!

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful building by the old train station that is now a hotel. Very swanky inside and the service was prompt and courteous. Made a reservation, but arrived a bit early. They were able to accommodate and seat us a bit early. Started with the oysters - which were delicious but a bit small for the price. Our entrees were fabulous. I recommend the Shrimp Scampi (nothing left at the end) and the tuna poke bowl (a new take on a classic, ornamentally decorated with edible flowers). My only complaint is that you had to scream across the table to talk or even discuss with the waiter. Very hard to converse and enjoy your company due to the extreme loud noise level. They also have you pay via QR code... which I don't love.

Beautiful interior and amazing happy hour menu! Service was great and timely. I ordered the adult happy meal and honestly could not have been happier. The art museum is right next door making this a great spot to eat before or after visiting an exhibit They also have validated parking right behind the building which is a huge win downtown

Such a great experience! We were first timers in the city and searched for dinner ops! So happy we chose this for our pre-anniversary dinner! The ambiance was captivating and warm! Idea for a date night! They gave us a nice anniversary card, and the waitress Destinei was awesome! Courteous and sweet! Also knowledgeable of the menu! We had the volcano shrimp, braised ribs, broccolini, and the butter cake! dessert came out with sparkling candles and Happy Anniversary signage! We throughly enjoyed our evening! Must do next time!

So many great things about The Finch. My server, Savanna, was EXCEPTIONAL, like AMAZING. She was bright, helpful, and attentive to the max, but not in an annoying way. She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!

The Finch is a fantastic addition to the Nashville dining scene, and I've had consistently great experiences here. On my most recent visit, my guest and I started with the rock shrimp, which was perfectly cooked. The sliced scallions weren't over-seasoned, and the spiced peanuts tied everything together beautifully. It's also a generous portion--honestly large enough to enjoy as a main course, which I've done before. We also ordered a few house cocktails, all of which were well-balanced and refreshing. For our entrées, I had the roasted herb chicken while my guest ordered the filet mignon. The chicken was cooked well, and the citrus jus added brightness without overpowering the dish. The broccolini was a perfect complement. My guest's filet was also excellent--cooked to a perfect medium rare, with sides that paired nicely overall. That said, the tobacco onions and demi-glace leaned a bit heavy and slightly overpowered the plate. We added a side of the Alfredo mac & cheese, which was decent, though it had a breadcrumb topping that I personally don't prefer--even at a steakhouse. Service was friendly and attentive, though it could have been a bit quicker at times. Parking can also be a bit challenging, which keeps me from visiting as often as I'd like. Overall, The Finch is still a fabulous restaurant with thoughtfully prepared dishes and a great atmosphere--I'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for my birthday. Our server, Savanah took such great care of us She was so helpful and friendly. She offered honest feedback and menu recommendations. Throughout our meal, she checked on us and had the staff come out when she brought dessert for a special birthday song. It was such a kind gesture and I was so grateful for that moment. It really made my birthday extra special. The food, the staff, the service, the ambiance. The Finch gets it right.

Wow, is all I can say! Our best meal while we were in Nashville for a concert. Love the vibe and location. Casual enough but also a little upscale, perfect mix. Service and food were both amazing. Can't wait for our next trip. This is a must stop!

From the moment you step inside, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and cozy warmth, making it ideal for both a special occasion and a casual night out. Just a heads-up, though - if your high heels lack grip, the floors can be a bit slippery! I've almost lost my life couple times. I've chosen the Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon: it was a flavor explosion! And their French 75? Absolutely divine, I've had 2 glasses! I did had a taste of the Shrimp and Grits and it was great as well. The staff are knowledgeable.

Located across the street from the Frist Art Museum, we stopped here for brunch after enjoying the museum. The light and modern decor really elevated this spot. Our server at this visit was Reed and he really made us feel so welcomed. He gave us some great local recommendations and was just so friendly. We ordered the chicken and waffles which was a 10 out of 10! My husband enjoyed his biscuit and gravy breakfast plate. Our side order of fries paired well with the gravy. Definitely one of my favorite meal while in Nashville!

We spent the entire weekend in Nashville and didn't do a great job in finding good spots (at our own fault). We ended up stopping at the finch for brunch before getting on the road and it was AMAZING. Our server Paige L. was so sweet and helpful during. The place is beautiful!!

Good place for brunch! Easy to split the check. Cute place! All of our food and drinks were good. Of note, the Caesar is more of a vinaigrette dressing than a creamy. Also, they have discontinued their buffalo chicken egg rolls.

The Finch was a recommend placeh to try. We went for Dinner. We started at the bar with some drinks, a Blanton's and then Bardstown White Label. They were just OK for me, I love tha Black Label Bardstown. We then got the Volcano Rock Shrimp with the Volcano Sauce, Spiced Peanuts, and scallions. Good appetizer to start. We were seated in the bar area at a cozy table. We both got the Filet Mignon. A Filet should be able to cut with a fork imo, I couldn't cut this one. The steak was not tough, just not fork tender or melt in your mouth. I was not expecting it to come stacked with the Demi Glacé on top of the steak. A filet I like plain and want to taste the quality of beef, not mask it. You cover a sirloin in Demi Glacé, just a plain filet. The steak still had really good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were excellent with the steak. The tobacco onions were a nice surprise. I would get this again, but with the Demi Glacé on the side. The whipped potatoes were very smooth and excellent with the Demi Glacé. The staff were all friendly and professional. I would definitely come back and try other dishes.

Our seating was prime with the beautiful supper club ambiance, the food was the best meal of our whole trip (I especially loved the new tomato-goat cheese appetizer-I would eat that for dinner!), and the service and hospitality was top notch. I had a cucumber gimlet that was so light and balanced to start as we enjoyed the first band of the evening entertainment. The appetizers were amazing - crispy artichokes and potstickers. The filet was cooked perfectly, and my husband's chicken was tender and according to him, "the best I've ever had." We finished with an espresso martini that was dessert in a glass as we really enjoyed the second band, who entertained everyone with such energy, and a conga line! So. Much. Fun! Thank you, Marco, for how intentional everything was during our visit. You really have the art of hospitality down to a science. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Knowing the countless steak options were all solid choices, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried elk for the first time since Harper's offers such exotic choices. And it was pretty good. But there's no question the Argentinian Chimichurri saved it. The beef tallow fries are also decent. And yes, the crème brûlée is magnificent!
