I'm from Washington state and we don't have a White Castle. I've been hearing this classic so when I found out there are lots of WC locations in TN, I just needed to check it out! We got the classic, cheese, bacon and cheese, and chicken. My faves were the cheese and bacon and cheese but they're all good. I'm not surprised but the service was a bit slow and one of the cashiers was a bit rude and mean. But most fast food joints have a worker like that, or most companies rather, so it's not a big deal. I'd eat White Castle again the next time I visit a city/state where there is one!

If I could give zero stars. We had terrible attitudes from the people that worked here. My wife asked for ketchup and you wouldn't believe how this woman reacted to her with complete disrespect. She then Went outside to smoke and she was talking to somebody pointing back at us through the window, flipping us off. What is wrong with people these days. Acting like a freaking child. And we were so excited to go to a white castle for the first time.

I felt like having White Castle for dinner. On my way back to the hotel from Opry Mills, I stopped by this location to grab some grub. My first experience was getting their slider burgers from the frozen section of a grocery store in Rochester, MN. I loved them then and I still do! I don't visit White Castle often. This visit was my second time ever. This White Castle has a drive-thru. There were a few cars ahead of me. I didn't mind the wait, as it gave me time to look at the menu and offerings. I needed to figure out what I wanted to order. I saw the 1921 slider. It was the slider that started this franchise. You got two of them in the combo. Perfect! The combo also came with a small drink and a small order for fries. For my drink, I ordered a diet Barq's strawberry cream soda. You do need to pack some patience waiting. I didn't mind it. I found looking at the menu killed some time. I didn't realize that you can also get breakfast here. You can also get a case of 30 cheese sliders, which seemed like perfect finger food for an informal gathering or me binge-watching all seasons of Somebody Feed Phil (and Mary!). I got a woman at the window. She was great. I paid with a credit card. All was great. I got my drink first, followed by my bag of food. I thanked her and headed back to the hotel. I took a sip of my diet strawberry cream soda as I drove. It was heavenly! I wish that it was offered everywhere. I loved it so much. I had dinner in my hotel room. White Castle has crinkle-cut fries. I enjoyed mine. I wish that I got more of them. I felt that the place was rationing potatoes because the paper container wasn't filled with fries as much as I would have hoped. The 1921 sliders were so good. Each one had a beef patty, topped with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, roma tomato, lettuce and pickles. The patty was nicely seasoned and seared perfectly. The caramelized onions are what makes the sliders yummy to me. I liked that this slider was like a mini burger with some veggies. I loved it. It felt fancy compared to getting a cheese slider. I had a great experience. The food and drink were delicious. Staff were competent and nice. I miss White Castle. My closest one is in Detroit. If I'm nuts enough, I may have to do a road trip to get my fix. (347)

Oh how I missed these little burgers of happiness. Being from NY and now living in Atlanta I don't have access but when in Nashville it's White Castle time. Stopped by late at night. Service was a tad slow but the nice lady was all by herself so that's alright. Burgers tasted just how I remember... way better then Krystal.

Haven't been to one of these locations in awhile. I can tell you this location didn't disappoint. Service was fast and food was good. I honestly prefer White Castle over Krystals waaay better!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!
