What a CUTE SPOT -- I loved this restaurant and am so excited to come back again on my next visit. Three of us came for dinner and we absolutely loved every bite. They were able to accommodate the two of us who had allergies, no issues and no attitude about it (that doesn't always happen). My steak dish was out of this world and my friends loved their dishes. The cocktails (not pictured) were made perfectly and we had 2 each because they were so good. Everything was fresh, the space wasn't too loud, it was clean, it was perfect.
My colleagues and I had dinner here recently and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and there a cozy big booths. All of the drinks and menu items have cute names. We started with the I Dip, You Dip, We Dip: spinach artichoke dip, parmesan, garlic confit, toasted sourdough. This was very tasty. Loved the crisp bread and the pickled veggies on the side. For my entree, I had the Shank You Very Much: pork shank, asian slaw, gochujang, Filipino adobo jus, delicata fried rice. This was delicious. The portion was huge and I could have shared it. The meat was very tender and tasty. Overall, a great meal.
WHOA! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this place. The brunch here is incredible. It's a super cute diner with delicious food. The people who work here are kind and make you feel taken care of. I came here with my Yelp bestie and we got the chopped salad and the mocking burger. This is an award winning burger folks and it shows! You have to order this. It is so delicious, I'm drooling writing about it. The salad was the perfect accompaniment for our brunch. We enjoyed our food at a cute booth. They have gender neutral single stall restrooms here. It's a trendy and intimate restaurant that you have to visit.
Good cocktail, friendly staffs, burger is Okie, and ambiance is trendy for Instagram. Food we had burger and some light dishes because we just not hungry. Nashville fed us well every meal. I enjoy the burger and the tuna tartar. The staffs are so nice. They gave us a special welcome. Love the deco here.

The Mockingbird cheeseburger needs to be talked about more and ranked a lot higher in the city. Adding bacon is a must, though, it's thick crispy and delicious. The strawberry cake dessert was a 10 out of 10 as well. I had average expectations for both of these items and they blew me the hell away
We had a delicious brunch here one morning. I had the papa's de too fun which was delicious and filled me up. Perfect after a night of drinking. Cocktails were also delicious.

I came by for happy hour and it is such a great deal! Drinks range from $6-$8 as well as the food! The place was really quiet but the bartender was great and the drinks were delicious! I shared some of the food as well including the burger, fries, and Mac and cheese! The burger was fantastic! It was all decorated for the holidays and felt very festive!
I came across this restaurant while searching for places to eat while we were here visiting. The decor of this place is 10/10. They had the most beautiful wallpaper, with simple and elegant table settings. I called ahead to see if they can accommodate eight people, initially they were not sure but offered for us to come in and when we arrived they were able to see us immediately. It helped that we ate at about 430. That seems like a perfect time to go. The service and food was delicious. So much flavor. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu so we will definitely come back if you're in town do not skip this place.
We love Mockingbird, wish we got here more often and we're locals. This morning we were celebrating my birthday and is didn't disappoint. Chef Brian and Chef Maneet have a real winner. This morning we had the cinnamon roll which if you can get I highly recommend. I had the 'Merica which is a breakfast staple. Eggs, bacon or sausage with toast and potatoes. My wife had the grits with bacon. I'm not a grits fan but I did try a bite and they're delicious. For drinks I had the Caffeine Me and my wife had Bubbles in a Bag. Highly recommend getting a reservation on the weekend especially late spring through early fall. This place will be packed with tourists and bachelorette parties. If you get Bunny for a server you can't go wrong.
Found ourselves unexpectedly near Mockingbird at brunch so took the opportunity to try a Maneet Chauhan restaurant. Food was really good, though we would have preferred the lunch or dinner menu. The yolk on my dish was perfect and spilled out right as I took a picture - not sure if the motion picture will upload like a video but it was beautiful. Been a few months since we were here and I don't remember all the dishes we had but everything was delicious, as expected!
So good! Came here for lunch - delicious! Mini grilled cheese was excellent, also had salads and cocktails - service was great! Deep was our server and he was excellent! Ambiance is casual and cool.

Blown away by our experience at The Mockingbird! Our server, Tyler, was absolutely amazing, he made sure we were well taken care of and very attentive to our needs. Loved the aesthetics of this place- very chic and modern looking. But the best part was our food. I had heard great things about the burger, and it did not disappoint. This was one of, if not the BEST burger I've ever had. It came out fairly quick, fresh and hot with melty cheese and the softest bun. There's layers of veggies and sauce which add so much flavor to the soft, melt-in-your-mouth bite. The only thing was the fries weren't my favorite. They were over seasoned in my opinion, and not super crispy. We were full at the end but the dessert menu looked really good, with specials like ube lava cake and panna cotta. I will be dreaming about that burger, and hopefully will make it back next time I'm in town for that burger or to try their brunch! read more
Dedicated Tournament of Champion viewer right here! I have been to 4 out of the 5 winners restaurants to taste what is happening. So when I knew we would be in Nashville, there were no questions: we were going to Maneet's! Mocking bird was the best choice for us as Indian food would not have been the best for our kids, and me as I can be a picky eater. Easily made reservation on-line. Heads up, no real street parking in the area so we had to park across the street in a parking garage (for a fee.) It was a Saturday night and the place was bleak! I couldn't believe it. There loss... The interior is meticulously decorated. Everything was very modern with some flare like the giant mirrored mocking bird protruding from the wall (super cool.) Sitting inside, you felt a little upscale. I tried a few things as there were 6 of us at the table. We started with Don't Worry, Brie Happy and Keepin' It Rio. The Brie bites were DELICIOUS!! I am still thinking of them 2 months later. I should have ordered this as my entree as well! The Rio, I could have done without. Squishy and lacked flavor for me. My cousin had Tot's El Tio Fun. Needed something. I thought it was a little dry. I did the trio. My choices: Brussels, fried rice and mac and cheese. I didn't realize these would be smaller than the original side version. The brussels needed more of a sauce. The rice- I wanted the egg on top but apparently this only happens when it is just the side. The mac and cheese was good. My friend raved over the Wedge between Us salad. My husband had the Bird Is The Word and has nothing but good things to say. Also, what a cute kids meal served in an only school microwaveable type of meal. I also felt I had to get a desert so the cookies it was and they were a little hard. My complaint- their website advertises the Happy Hour specials. They have it posted on the stalls in the bathroom. Nowhere does it say that you can only have the Happy Hour specials if you sit at the bar or outside. This made me upset! Advertise better. Be clear. Overall: the BRIE!!! True Score: 3.75 read more

Decent food! The interior was really cute and bird themed. Felt a bit pricey for what we got. The real stand out was the stuffed bagel bites and the arancini. I loved the unique idea of cream cheese on the inside and the arancini was fried perfectly! I liked my French toast but nothing super duper memorable. They did bring out a yummy cookie since we were celebrating a birthday so I appreciated that! They also have parking which is really nice to have in the Gulch. Our waiter was nice and explained the menu for those with dietary restrictions. read more

There's many good things about this restaurants - it looked beautiful inside and outside, the service was pleasant and cocktails were delicious. However, the most important part of any restaurant - the food itself - was pretty disappointing. My mushroom pasta was extremely dry and only had like 5 slices of mushrooms on top. My husband's chicken was also dry, but thankfully, the manager took it off our check. Overall, it seems like a great place to grab drinks but not to eat at. read more
The Mockingbird made for an amazing brunch while we were on a trip to Nashville, loved the variety in the menu, the styling of the restaurant, and the taste of course lived up to the billing! Carbs ruled the day, as they should, as we piled into some fresh made biscuits with jam and some stuffed bagel bites to start things off along with a round of brunch cocktails. The biscuits were golden and beautiful, tasting as good as they looked. Fluffy and buttery, they were easily some of the best biscuits I have tasted, and I assure you my biscuit experience is bountiful. Like one of my tablemates, when the server mentioned that their burger was voted the best burger in Nashville on multiple occasions, I simply could not resist but to order it. Challenge accepted, after already having had a biscuit and a stuffed bagel, but hey, vacation... right? The burger was indeed rich and delicious. I'd make a couple tweaks, but to say it wasn't really darn good as is would be a mistake. I finished every bite even though I definitely was on the struggle bus driven by carbs at the end, especially since the fries it also came with would rank very high on my favorite fries list too. That had a really interesting seasoning on them that just made them super addictive. All in all, not a place you should pass on in Nashville. A menu that would make any number of eaters happy, and great food! read more

Wow.Wow.Wow. Our farewell team brunch was at Mockingbird and I am so glad that it was. Our group started with some drankkkks - I opted for a bloody mary. They make them with Vodka or Beer or NA which I thought was cool. We also ordered bagel bites and biscuits for the table because carbs are life. The brunch menu is awesome - it offers something for everyone whether you're into the breakfast vibes or something a bit heartier on the lunch side. While a lot of things caught my eye, like the breakfast tacos and fried rice, I hadddd to order the burger. Our server said this burger had been awarded the best burger in Nashville a few years in a row so I thought to myself, this is a must. I also got the wedge salad and split the burger and salad with my colleague. We really nailed the order with something refreshing and something heavy. The burger really was great, and the fries were seasoned and delicious. I felt the wedge salad was a biiiit heavy on the dill in the dressing for my taste but overall very good. Service was quick and very friendly. This place is also very cute inside and makes for a perfect brunch spot with friends. read more
Updating my review to say that Mockingbird is still that girl. I had some friends visiting town, and wanted to show them a bit of Nashville flair without having to brave downtown. This was the perfect spot to share with them. We snagged brunch reservations for five for a Saturday morning - and everything from the service to the food to the vibes was just as wonderful as I remembered. If you haven't had the chance to enjoy the Mockingburger, what are you waiting for?!? This is an award-winning Nashville burger - and every bite delivers. On this visit, I also had a chance to try the bagel bites (yum!) and the wedge salad (yum x2!) The bagel bites are filled with a pimento-cheese/cream cheese mixture - and they're served warm, so the cheese kind of melts in your mouth. The wedge salad is loaded up with tasty toppings - and the dressing brings all of the flavors together beautifully. read more
The Mockingbird is hands down my favorite restaurant in Nashville. Delicious food, creative (and bagged) cocktails, stellar service, phenomenal location, and immaculate vibes! I've been to Mockingbird for brunch/lunch, and dinner, and Ive have never left hungry or upset...always fat and happy. For brunch, I recommend Those Buns Dough or the seasonal Massive Donut! Biscuits are solid as well, but it's the apps at brunch that stand out. For dinner, we ALWAYS start off with the Totchis. Lamb chili, beer cheddar, tots, and crema...need I say more!? For mains, I've tried nearly everything on the menu, but my ultimate favorite is The Bird is the Word, and I'll fight about it. Perfectly cooked chicken fried chicken over creamy mashed potatoes, topped with chorizo gravy and pickled onions. Absolutely divine! The Mockingburger is also solid if you're more in a burger mood. Nothing to wag your finger at for sure. The cocktails are creative and expertly crafted. While I love trying specialty cocktails, I usually go for the Punchin' Bag - It's essentially an adult Capri Sun! They have a base juice flavor of the day, and you then add your spirit of choice. Never had a bad bag of booze here! Another thang that makes Mockingbird special is the vibes and ambiance with two levels of seating, retro decor, good beats playing, gorgeous wallpaper throughout and a cozy patio. Parking can be tricky and a bit pricey, but I usually park in the Whole Foods garage and get validated. Overall, Mockingbird is one of the places that made us fall in love with Nashville, which eventually led us to moving up a few years ago. The Mockingbird is definitely one of my top 5 options for brunch in Nashville. The warm and eclectic atmosphere sets the vibe for this restaurant located in the Gultch. I've been able to dine in for both the brunch and dinner. I highly recommend the brunch if you have a big party. Their cinnamon rolls and bagel bites are incredible starters. For dinner I really enjoyed their Brie grilled cheese bites and classic house salad. I'm looking forward to my next experience at The Mockingbird. read more
We walked here from our hotel on the other side of town cause we wanted to try one of Maneet's restaurants, but in hindsight, I don't know that she has anything to do with this one, other than it's in the same building as her actual restaurant and they are all part of the same restaurant group. It was a Tuesday morning and they were not busy, so we had no problem getting a table and had prompt service. This Chef certainly knows how to make a sandwich. We shared two of them. The Cuban and the Meatball hero. Bread for both was fantastic. The favorite for both of us was the Cuban. The balance of flavors was perfect and that roast pork...mmmm! The Meatball one was good, but needed a touch of acid and some texture. It was all mild flavors and soft texture. Fries excellent. read more

In the outskirts of Nashville lies a restaurant with low ceilings, nice lighting, flower wallpaper, and puns for the names of drinks. While I've been here multiple times the Braised short rib and Jamaican wings are our favorite! This trip I got the charred cabbage which was very good, however the quinoa was a little bland. Our server answered our questions, brought our drinks out quickly and was very helpful and attentive (but not overbearing). I will be back, and am excited to discover my next favorite dish here. read more

I want to give this 3.5 rating. The food was good, wish some of it was better. I loved the Caffeine-Me espresso martini. I had the grits, they were lukewarm. Celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with brunch at The Mockingbird. I loved showing up and seeing a printed out card for us wishing us a happy anniversary. We shared a flight of donuts that were super fun- pineapple upside down, chocolate and strawberry shortcake. Great experience. We ordered the fritto misto vegetarian style. Came with fried lemon, pickles, asparagus and other veggies. Charred cabbage this came with a cabbage steak, quinoa and roasted celery root. Pasta bolognese with chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was nice and the restaurant is nice inside. Can't wait to go back. read more

Went for brunch and it was just fabulous! The service was great - he was very attentive, gave us suggestions, and a brief overview of the restaurant. We started with the cinnamon roll and boy was it huge! (This seems to be a theme) The cream cheese frosting was incredible and the roll was nice and warm. We were told the burger has won numerous awards, so we had to get it. It did not disappoint! I loved the smash burgers and how cheesy it was. Their "fancy sauce" on it is amazing as well. It was garlicky and truffley and really added to the burger. Plus, the fries were seasoned perfectly and really added to the dish. We also ordered the tacos and it was ginormous! I was expecting 2-3 smaller tacos and was definitely surprised with the size of this one! The eggs in this taco were cooked perfectly. Everything worked together from the salsa to the chorizo to the refried beans. It was also surprisingly easy to eat with a fork and knife. We ordered a side of sour cream and that was a fabulous addition to the taco. It was a bit empty when we went in, but I suspect when it is busy, the vibes are amazing. This is a great place for larger parties, birthdays, bachelorette/bachelor parties. I recommend! read more
