    Shank You Very Much
    Karen C.

My colleagues and I had dinner here recently and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and there a cozy big booths. All of the drinks and menu items have cute names. We started with the I Dip, You Dip, We Dip: spinach artichoke dip, parmesan, garlic confit, toasted sourdough. This was very tasty. Loved the crisp bread and the pickled veggies on the side. For my entree, I had the Shank You Very Much: pork shank, asian slaw, gochujang, Filipino adobo jus, delicata fried rice. This was delicious. The portion was huge and I could have shared it. The meat was very tender and tasty. Overall, a great meal.

WHOA! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this place. The brunch here is incredible. It's a super cute diner with delicious food. The people who work here are kind and make you feel taken care of. I came here with my Yelp bestie and we got the chopped salad and the mocking burger. This is an award winning burger folks and it shows! You have to order this. It is so delicious, I'm drooling writing about it. The salad was the perfect accompaniment for our brunch. We enjoyed our food at a cute booth. They have gender neutral single stall restrooms here. It's a trendy and intimate restaurant that you have to visit.

Good cocktail, friendly staffs, burger is Okie, and ambiance is trendy for Instagram. Food we had burger and some light dishes because we just not hungry. Nashville fed us well every meal. I enjoy the burger and the tuna tartar. The staffs are so nice. They gave us a special welcome. Love the deco here.

Food is great. Service is great. Cool small restaurant with small quaint patio with a great downtown view. Extremely shocked how great this Burger is. The Mockingbird cheeseburger needs to be talked about more and ranked a lot higher in the city. Adding bacon is a must, though, it's thick crispy and delicious. The strawberry cake dessert was a 10 out of 10 as well. I had average expectations for both of these items and they blew me the hell away

We had a delicious brunch here one morning. I had the papa's de too fun which was delicious and filled me up. Perfect after a night of drinking. Cocktails were also delicious.

The Mockingbird has done it again The food was phenomenal. I loved the ahi tuna appetizer because the taste was great and the after taste was even better. Every dish was so flavorful. The service was great and the vibes were okay. The restaurant could use areas with good lighting for pictures.

Kicked off my birthday with brunch! Came starving, left full! The food was incredible! Highly recommend trying the Brie Grilled Cheese bites, they were delicious. I ordered the breakfast taco and it was massive. There was a little kick to it, which I enjoyed. Our server was friendly brought over a cute dessert with a candle to help kick off the birthday celebrations.

I came by for happy hour and it is such a great deal! Drinks range from $6-$8 as well as the food! The place was really quiet but the bartender was great and the drinks were delicious! I shared some of the food as well including the burger, fries, and Mac and cheese! The burger was fantastic! It was all decorated for the holidays and felt very festive!

I came across this restaurant while searching for places to eat while we were here visiting. The decor of this place is 10/10. They had the most beautiful wallpaper, with simple and elegant table settings. I called ahead to see if they can accommodate eight people, initially they were not sure but offered for us to come in and when we arrived they were able to see us immediately. It helped that we ate at about 430. That seems like a perfect time to go. The service and food was delicious. So much flavor. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu so we will definitely come back if you're in town do not skip this place.

We love Mockingbird, wish we got here more often and we're locals. This morning we were celebrating my birthday and is didn't disappoint. Chef Brian and Chef Maneet have a real winner. This morning we had the cinnamon roll which if you can get I highly recommend. I had the 'Merica which is a breakfast staple. Eggs, bacon or sausage with toast and potatoes. My wife had the grits with bacon. I'm not a grits fan but I did try a bite and they're delicious. For drinks I had the Caffeine Me and my wife had Bubbles in a Bag. Highly recommend getting a reservation on the weekend especially late spring through early fall. This place will be packed with tourists and bachelorette parties. If you get Bunny for a server you can't go wrong.

Found ourselves unexpectedly near Mockingbird at brunch so took the opportunity to try a Maneet Chauhan restaurant. Food was really good, though we would have preferred the lunch or dinner menu. The yolk on my dish was perfect and spilled out right as I took a picture - not sure if the motion picture will upload like a video but it was beautiful. Been a few months since we were here and I don't remember all the dishes we had but everything was delicious, as expected!

So good! Came here for lunch - delicious! Mini grilled cheese was excellent, also had salads and cocktails - service was great! Deep was our server and he was excellent! Ambiance is casual and cool.

    Drinks were awesome!

Great brunch spot. Went with a few girlfriends and we all loved our drinks. The food was good, but nothing incredible. Waiter was fun, personable, and gave great recommendations.

It was good and I appreciated the flavors but would try a different starter next time! I really enjoyed the spaghetti. It tasted like summer on a plate - light, fresh, and bursting with bright tomato flavor. The sauce was simple but layered, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. Instead, we spent a fair amount of time looking at the menu trying to figure out what actually appealed to us. And when the food arrived, I started to understand why. The food was good. There's no question about that. We enjoyed the chicken, but even there, I found myself thinking that there was just a little too much going on. A little more sauce. Another ingredient. A garnish. Something else for texture. Then something else for contrast. At some point, I start wondering if the chef is trying to make dinner or win a culinary scavenger hunt. I prefer my elegance with a little less. Sometimes the best way to elevate a great ingredient is to give it a little room to breathe. The menu felt somewhat limited, and the food didn't quite live up to the very high expectations created by the restaurant's reviews. Everything we had was good, but I didn't walk away thinking it was as exceptional as I had anticipated. Overall, four stars. Etch is clearly a talented kitchen with a lot of creativity. I just think they may be trying a little too hard. Sometimes less really is more, especially when the ingredients are good enough to stand on their own.

And it's a rare place that offers the elusive Chateaubriand steak. They even have four-pound loaded baked potatoes. And that's not to mention Nashville's most expensive dish, their signature $1,800 extravaganza for two including a tomahawk steak and a rare cognac. Harper's is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. The calamari is a highlight, a little salty for my taste but one of the best versions in town. The French onion soup is worth trying, its Havarti and Swiss combination beautifully finishing the top! Knowing the countless steak options were all solid choices, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried elk for the first time since Harper's offers such exotic choices. And it was pretty good. We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this visit, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.

We ate family style, which is the move here, passing everything so the whole table got a taste. Tara's halibut was the runaway favorite, our server called it his top pick on the menu and he nailed it. The mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts vanished fast, and the tri-tip with spaghetti squash and the delmonico rounded out a generous spread. The carrot cake ice cream cake split the table down the middle, though nobody walked away disappointed. Four stars, with only that dry chicken keeping it from a clean sweep.
