    Shank You Very Much
    Karen C.

My colleagues and I had dinner here recently and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and there a cozy big booths. All of the drinks and menu items have cute names. We started with the I Dip, You Dip, We Dip: spinach artichoke dip, parmesan, garlic confit, toasted sourdough. This was very tasty. Loved the crisp bread and the pickled veggies on the side. For my entree, I had the Shank You Very Much: pork shank, asian slaw, gochujang, Filipino adobo jus, delicata fried rice. This was delicious. The portion was huge and I could have shared it. The meat was very tender and tasty. Overall, a great meal.

WHOA! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this place. The brunch here is incredible. It's a super cute diner with delicious food. The people who work here are kind and make you feel taken care of. I came here with my Yelp bestie and we got the chopped salad and the mocking burger. This is an award winning burger folks and it shows! You have to order this. It is so delicious, I'm drooling writing about it. The salad was the perfect accompaniment for our brunch. We enjoyed our food at a cute booth. They have gender neutral single stall restrooms here. It's a trendy and intimate restaurant that you have to visit.

Good cocktail, friendly staffs, burger is Okie, and ambiance is trendy for Instagram. Food we had burger and some light dishes because we just not hungry. Nashville fed us well every meal. I enjoy the burger and the tuna tartar. The staffs are so nice. They gave us a special welcome. Love the deco here.

We had a delicious brunch here one morning. I had the papa's de too fun which was delicious and filled me up. Perfect after a night of drinking. Cocktails were also delicious.

The Mockingbird has done it again The food was phenomenal. I loved the ahi tuna appetizer because the taste was great and the after taste was even better. Every dish was so flavorful. The service was great and the vibes were okay. The restaurant could use areas with good lighting for pictures.

Food is great. Service is great. Cool small restaurant with small quaint patio with a great downtown view. Extremely shocked how great this Burger is. The Mockingbird cheeseburger needs to be talked about more and ranked a lot higher in the city. Adding bacon is a must, though, it's thick crispy and delicious. The strawberry cake dessert was a 10 out of 10 as well. I had average expectations for both of these items and they blew me the hell away

Kicked off my birthday with brunch! Came starving, left full! The food was incredible! Highly recommend trying the Brie Grilled Cheese bites, they were delicious. I ordered the breakfast taco and it was massive. There was a little kick to it, which I enjoyed. Our server was friendly brought over a cute dessert with a candle to help kick off the birthday celebrations.

I came by for happy hour and it is such a great deal! Drinks range from $6-$8 as well as the food! The place was really quiet but the bartender was great and the drinks were delicious! I shared some of the food as well including the burger, fries, and Mac and cheese! The burger was fantastic! It was all decorated for the holidays and felt very festive!

I came across this restaurant while searching for places to eat while we were here visiting. The decor of this place is 10/10. They had the most beautiful wallpaper, with simple and elegant table settings. I called ahead to see if they can accommodate eight people, initially they were not sure but offered for us to come in and when we arrived they were able to see us immediately. It helped that we ate at about 430. That seems like a perfect time to go. The service and food was delicious. So much flavor. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu so we will definitely come back if you're in town do not skip this place.

Found ourselves unexpectedly near Mockingbird at brunch so took the opportunity to try a Maneet Chauhan restaurant. Food was really good, though we would have preferred the lunch or dinner menu. The yolk on my dish was perfect and spilled out right as I took a picture - not sure if the motion picture will upload like a video but it was beautiful. Been a few months since we were here and I don't remember all the dishes we had but everything was delicious, as expected!

So good! Came here for lunch - delicious! Mini grilled cheese was excellent, also had salads and cocktails - service was great! Deep was our server and he was excellent! Ambiance is casual and cool.

Great brunch spot. Went with a few girlfriends and we all loved our drinks. The food was good, but nothing incredible. Waiter was fun, personable, and gave great recommendations.

There's many good things about this restaurants - it looked beautiful inside and outside, the service was pleasant and cocktails were delicious. However, the most important part of any restaurant - the food itself - was pretty disappointing. My mushroom pasta was extremely dry and only had like 5 slices of mushrooms on top. My husband's chicken was also dry, but thankfully, the manager took it off our check. Overall, it seems like a great place to grab drinks but not to eat at.

These biscuits, while looking mighty unassuming, were perfectly done.

Very kind, engaging and knowledgeable. I am very much the person, that when I trust the waitperson, I ask them to bring me what they think is great, don't tell me what it is, dealers choice, surprise me. Julianna brought us a fig and prosciutto pizza, followed by a braised pork shoulder pasta dish and a tequila drink (can't remember the name, my wife had an espresso martini) It was so good. We finished with a wine flight, also picked out by julienne. I am sure the entire staff is amazing, but I would highly recommend Julienne and allow her to do her thing!!! 5 stars, two thumbs up, and an A+

The salads were good, but I do think the portions are a little small for the price. The service is always great, and it's a perfect spot for larger groups. TLDR version of this review: So good (as in that's what all 5 of us were saying over and over again…read moreas we dined!). Five of us came here for a birthday (the b-day girl requested cutesy Nashville rooftop with a view). We sat on the third floor and there was a decent view of Nissan Stadium and the river. But, as stated earlier, everything was "so good"! Like, I asked my friends what they thought and that was what they kept saying. I guess they were too busy thoroughly enjoying it to think of a better review, sorry not sorry! The staff was super friendly and there was lots of celebrations (with sparklers galore). And the vibes were on point, quite cutesy - coastal vibes and lots of pink. The DJ was providing a great ambiance (although some of the speakers that were right over tables (including ours) could have been turned down a bit.

It was good and I appreciated the flavors but would try a different starter next time! I really enjoyed the spaghetti. It tasted like summer on a plate - light, fresh, and bursting with bright tomato flavor. The sauce was simple but layered, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. Overall, an enjoyable meal and a space I'd love to come back to try other menu items....I have heard rave reviews about a corn pasta here and I'd like to try sitting in the interior dining section which had a cozy, inviting feel.

The couple sitting next to me are going to see Bruno Mars, it seems like a nice night to start with a fabulous dinner. I came early to have a drink before my reservation. I feel a tap on my shoulder and there are two women asking for the happy hour drink menu. I offer my seat and they're thanking me and asking to pay for my drink? Everyone is very hospitable in Nashville! I tell the hostess I'm ready to sit and I'm seated at the large chefs counter. It's very smart to have this type of seating, it saves the tables for larger parties, there's no reason for lil ol me to take up a table with four seats. My waitress comes over and I studied the menu before I arrived. I'm starting with the Smoked Carpaccio (think of roast beef strips) Made with New York Strip steak and topped with pickled onion & herb relish, fried garlic chips, lemon almond salt and parmesan. This was an award winning starter dish. The steak strips were very flavorful and the crostini points, I ate this dish like little open faced sandwiches. This would be a great dish to share with a larger party. For my main entree, I ordered the Grilled Filet. The meat was cooked perfectly! On the side the dish was served with parmesan lemon whipped potatoes, and topped with a smoked bone marrow butter as well as asparagus spears. The smoked bone marrow was like pocket aces, a nice touch that elevated the dish. While in Nashville, I highly recommend making a reservation at etch.

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. The drinks we ordered were good as well. Kudos to bartender. I'm going to dive right in: duck wings were realllyyyy good no complaints at all!! One of the favorites. Nice sweet sauce. Florida rock shrimp was my fav. Reminds you of a nice shrimp scampi minus the lemon, more garlicky. The bread was good with the sauce. My top fav. Short rib was very tender and good. The asparagus was cooked well too perfect crunch and grill taste. Not a fan of dates but it does add a sweetness if you like. Also came with family style mashed potatoes and they were very good as well. We also order the green beans , heavy lemon profile. zucchini fritters surprised me. Not in a bad way, I wasn't expecting a ball so the zucchini was like chopped up inside w/ another mixed. No much described on the menu. sausage cheddar biscuits were pretty over powering with the sausage , I enjoyed the sauce on the plate with it. High pork flavor, biscuits were soft & moist. chopped salad was very copped. It had peppers, radish, mushrooms , cucumbers & cheese and a lot of the chopped items are not listed on the menu, had to send back for a less chopped. I felt it was more chopped items than lettuce. The new salad was great & presentation is nice on how it comes out. Lettuce also wasn't the freshest but it was fine.
