White Eagle auto body (Naperville shop) replaced my bumper in 2015. They ordered a brand new bumper and painted it to match my truck. The salesman told me that it would last as long as I owned the truck and would never rust. After the new bumper was installed and I was getting ready to pay and leave the shop, they handed me a written warranty that specifically excluded rust damage. I informed the manager that potential rust damage should be covered/included in the warranty because the salesman had previously told me that it would be covered. The salesman was part of this conversation and he confirmed what I stated, which is that the bumper would never rust (because of superior paint job from White Eagle). The manager then added a hand-written note to the printed warranty page which stated "Paint warranty on bumper for life time" and he also added his signature. Well, guess what, 10 years later and the bumper is terribly rusted. It literally has large holes in it as the rust chewed right thru it.... So much for the "superior paint job" that White Eagle would provide..... But the worst part about it is that when I called their shop to discuss the "life time paint warranty" I could not get the manager to even return my call. After several non-returned phone calls I decided to visit the shop and at that point I was able to meet the manager (Chris) who informed me that White Eagle would never cover the rust damage. Of course I showed him the hand-written note for "life time paint warranty" but it didn't sway him in any way and he simply stated that they would never cover it. I asked him to make a copy of the hand-written life-time warranty and show it to the owner and requested that the owner call me to discuss, but I never heard from the owner. Summary: they will tell you whatever they need to say as part of the initial sale but later on when there is an issue their word means nothing. They won't return your calls and they won't honor their previous promises. read more

Fantastic job repairing a damaged door panel and hatch. Oswego shop kept me informed at all times and let me use a loaner.

This was without a doubt the worst experience I have had with a business working on my vehicle. Final cost was 60% more than the estimated cost and time frame for repair was twice as long as initially quoted. I then got estimates from 2 other business that came in below White Eagle's initial estimate, which they would not even honor. I took my vehicle somewhere else and saved money and the repair was done in a more timely fashion. I would recommend avoiding this business as there are far better local options. Details below: I needed to have work done on the rear panel of my vehicle and have the rear drivers side door replaced. I dropped the vehicle off in mid November and was quoted at $5100 for the parts and service with the work being completed in mid December. I checked back in mid December to see when my vehicle would be ready since there was no communication from them. I was then told the parts would not be available until mid January, which was unfortunate since I was driving for an 3 month extended stay with family, returning mid March. Upon my return I dropped off my vehicle again for repair as the parts were now in stock and was charged $2550 before initiating the repair. I was then contacted and told it would be an additional $3000, bringing the total to around $8000, an increase of nearly 60%. So the estimate was wildly inaccurate. They blamed an employee that no longer worked there and were not willing to honor the initial estimate or compromise. I then got estimates from 2 other local businesses, both coming in around $4000, which is lower than even the initial estimate White Eagle would not honor. I picked up my vehicle and was fortunately refunded the $2550 I already paid. My vehicle is now being repaired at a lower cost, from an accurate estimate, and in less time. We had a garage mishap with our Chevy Tahoe. We decided since it was minor not to go thru insurance. Scott provided us with an estimate for repairs, scheduled us in for the following week and provided an approximate time of completion. We didn't shop around because our number one concern was quality. Repairs were done when promised and the quality was excellent. Everyone there was very courteous and professional. From start to finish our experience with White Eagle was less than stellar. Started with Fabrice who was actually really nice. He disappeared after the first contact-not sure if he no longer works there or what. There was zero communication about my repairs for the 2 weeks they had my car. My insurance was the one to keep me in the loop saying my car would be ready on a thursday (exactly 2 weeks from when it dropped off). My rental was up friday so that was perfect. I contacted White Eagle to make sure thursday was correct and they said no way it would be done then. Likely Tuesday which meant i was on the hook for the additional rental. I wasn't happy about that at all. The attitudes were snarky and rude-even our claims adjuster had that experience when speaking with the front office. My car was returned to me Monday night that next week and we noticed when we got home the trailer hitch was very scratched and visible when looking at back end of vehicle. Infiniti inspected and noticed it was rusted underneath and noted the scratches and said I should return the vehicle. I'm still not sure how a brand new trailer hitch is rusted and scratched like this was but White Eagle claims that's how they come. Infiniti also discovered my bumper wasn't actually attached on one side at all. I took my vehicle back to White Eagle and the owner was incredibly rude about it all. He acted like we were ridiculous to be annoyed at the scratches to the trailer hitch. He offered to spray paint it black to look better which we accepted and it should have been done like that from the start. They also attached my bumper like it should have been from the start as well. I had to leave my car there another day and further inconvenience myself. Overall, a terrible experience and we will never use them again. Customer service severely lacking. read more

White eagle auto body did not estimate my repairs properly. Oscar and Fabrice were the contacts I have had from the beginning. I did not receive calls on updates or possible disputes I may need to take up with the insurance. They had my new 2022 Toyota Supra for 17 months. First estimate was $29,000. Final was $39,000. No supplemental should be 33% over the original estimate. But I was given the car inoperable and with still broken parts that they knew about. Fabrice tried to lie to me about repairs when a separate party had already evaluated the car and informed me. The car is still sitting today inoperable at 18 months. What a great experience from start to end! Ken and Angie couldn't have been nice and/or more attentive. Customer Service is still alive at White Eagle! There were several places recommended in the area but Angie answered the phone right away and was just so friendly. They arranged for a rental car and gave me daily updates on my car. I have been looking for a shop to repaint the spoiler on my vehicle for sometime and like quite a few people you want to make sure the work is going to be done great. Listen, my brother in law is a body shop owner and to paint cars he charges a minimal of 6k for a great paint job. So when I tell you my spoiler was faded and flaking and I went to one shop that wanted 400.00 to do this job and I happened to pass WE on the way to the other shop. So I decided to stop by after I was crushed by what I though was an absurd amount to pay to strip, primer, paint and clear a spoiler. The guys at WE quoted me 150.00 to get this done and I was like take my spoiler and make it happen. They completed the job in 3 days!!!! From the time I first contacted them to picking up the car we received nothing but amazing service. Everyone was incredibly nice, professional and knowledgeable! We got texts and phone calls to let us know where they were in the process of fixing their car. In addition, the body work was amazing. My parent's car is only 6 months old and they were extremely upset a young driver hit them while they were stopped. The repair eased their mind when they saw that their car looked just like new again. Also, when my parents left the office from picking up their car my mom forgot her cane. One of the ladies cane running out to give it to her!!! My gauge of people's character is based upon how they treat the elderly; especially my parents who's second language is English. I went in to get an estimate for my truck. I have a Ram 1500. My passenger side rear door had a gap in it on the top. So water gets though during rain or car wash. I filled out the paperwork. And showed the gentleman the problem. After looking at it for 1 min. He asked if I have 5 minutes to spare. I said " yes". Took my truck in the back and fixed the problem. How much you ask ? No charge. Any place that does that , next time I have a problem, I know I'm not getting ripped off. I recommend them. Next problem I have, I'll be going to White Eagle Auto Body. I have used WE many times before for repairs as they are one of the VIP shops associated with my insurance company. I will NEVER return due to their incredibly poor service and communication on my most recent repair. Due to some communication issues with my insurance company, they chose to take out their frustration on us, holding the car for several days after it had been completed and being verbally argumentative and dismissive. I need a good Auto Bodyshop and wanted to give them a good review. I even waited after the holiday season so this not so good review may not affect their holiday joys. A 34% extra for the Autobody work and a week of delay can't be review for good practice. My front and back bumpers and one of the doors needed cosmetic bodywork. I got 3 estimates and decided to give a chance to White Eagle as they have a slightly lower estimate than the other two shops. The estimator said they might be able to repair one of the bumpers instead of replacing them with new ones. In the end they couldn't repair and asked me to pay extra for a new replacement, EXTRA! When I went to pick up the car, I immediately saw the 5" long dent at the door was not repaired. The estimator said it was not included in the original estimate, EXTRAs! I ended up paying a 34% EXTRAS above the estimate. It was Bodywork, not any mechanical work. Sorry to say I can't recommend the shop to others. read more

Let me begin by saying I have no idea whether or not they do good work; we did not get that far. They lost me with their horrible customer service. The shop was recommended by my insurance. I came in and made arrangements with the (owner? manager?) Oscar to bring my car in. They are only open from 8-5, so I had to take time off from work. When I came in they had not processed my paperwork and had not scheduled the person who needed to do the work. To add insult to injury, the worker who informed me of this was laughing about it. As if a customer would find that humorous. I did not even bicker, I just left. Save yourself some grief and look for some place more professional. read more

I have a 2015 Volkswagen, but damaged the rear break light and bumper. I purchased a replacement light from the dealer and took my car to White Eagle Auto Body today to get it repaired. They exceeded my expectations. The cost was minimal and repair took 10 minutes ( they even buffed the scratches on my bumper). I am excited about discovering this shop. I found this "family owned" company to be very unprofessional and rude. I was scammed into paying them more money for my towed vehicle than had been originally told to me by an employee over the phone. Because of this false information, I was without my car for 36 hours because I thought I was saving significant money. Customer service was not very understanding and I was also laughed at by other employees at the desk. I would not trust or recommend using them for any auto work. read more

Picked up my baby two days ago, and just had to write a big KUDOS to White Eagle! The process couldn't have been easier, and the work was exceptional. This is the second time in a year I've had to get body work done, and the other body shop (the one with a name that rhymes with Cadabra) had to take 4 tries to get the work done right. White Eagle got it right the first time, the final bill came in lower than the estimate, and my 2015 Mustang was given back to me looking better than when I dropped it off. They even vacuumed and wiped down the interior. I'm super pleased with the results, and will bring my cars here every time I need any work done! read more

Run the opposite direction - quickly. Whatever saving incentives your insurance company offers is not worth it - you will pay some other way. Our initial estimate for repairs was completed on 7/10/2014. First they uploaded the estimate incorrectly to our insurance company (week 1), then they required FIVE weeks to order parts and schedule repairs. They took possession of the vehicle on 8/25/2014. The initial time estimate for repairs was 2 weeks. Prior to the end of that time (9/2) we received a voice mail that additional damage was identified and it would require an additional week for repairs. They have now had our car in their possession for 3 weeks, and this experience has dragged for 9 weeks (thus far). Now they inform me it will be at 'least' another week to finalize repairs. One FULL MONTH for damage to one side of a four door sedan. Ten total weeks of dealing with this company. The words NEVER AGAIN, is all I can tell you. DO NOT use this shop. I shutter to think what the repairs will look like after reading all the negative reviews. read more

I am not one to usually write reviews unless the service is exceptional or really really poor. I feel like this interaction was extremely unprofessional and the customer service from the reception area was downright disgusting. I received a written quote for $ 98.29 on 09/25/2015. I took a week or so to think about the quote. After a week (not sure of the exact date) I decided to proceed with the repair. At the time I called White Eagle Auto body and told them I would like to move forward and start the process. My credit card was charged the exact amount that was on my quote. We waited for the parts to come in and the shop called us to come in for the repair. I showed up on our scheduled date and dropped off our vehicle. I DID NOT BRING THE ORIGINAL QUOTE INTO THE SHOP (big mistake). The repair was completed in a timely manner. I was called to let me know that the vehicle was ready for pick up. This is when the service turned sour. When I went into the office to pick up the key, I was not expecting to pay anything additional because there was never any communication that the price changed. Then the Customer Service Representative gave me a bill that was $55.34 more than what was quoted. I told her that I had a quote and that the original quote was for around $99.00. She told me that what they put on the credit card was not the final price and that the $99.00 was their cost. I told her that I appreciate that there was a cost, but that I agreed to the price that was offered on the quote. Another employee that was behind the reception desk decided to get into the conversation by saying that the invoice I had in front of me was the original quote and that "he did not modify the quote". I then told them that I did not have the original quote with me, but I would go home and check. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, because I did not bring the quote with me. I will tell you that I felt that the employees were ganging up on me, and I was feeling like they were trying to intimidate me. I did not want to make a scene at the location. I decided it that I would pay the difference and look at the quote when I got home. I told customer service rep. that I would call her when I got home with what was on the quote. When I got home I did in fact confirm that my original quote was $ 98.92 not the $153.63 that was charged in the store. I called her and informed her that the original quote was lower than what I paid. She then starting to raise her voice, and interrupt me when I was explaining my concerns. I told the employee that I felt like this was a bait and switch tactic and that I will never use them again. There was never an apology or any consideration to take care of the difference. It's surprising to me to see some of the reviews on here, as I recently took my car here based on a friend's recommendation and I have no complaints whatsoever. I had to get holes filled on my trunk lid after removing a spoiler, and seeing my car after I could not tell that anything had ever been there. Color matching was perfect with the rest of the car. WORST customer service ever. My mom was in a car accident and the other persons car insurance told her to get a quote. We went to White Eagle in Naperville to try to get a quote. Long story short, I told the receptionist what was going on and told her we where putting the claim through xyz insurance company and she started giving me every excuse why they couldn't do the quote. We ended up paying $20 for a quote, the woman who did it only did it because we had paid for it not because she really wanted to do it. She looked irritated, like we bothered her. This was such an excellent experience for me! From the moment I stopped for an estimate, to the minute I left after picking my car up. The customer service here is superb. They definitely care about your needs and being sure you are taken care of. They helped me with my time line, insurance, and even did extra on my car for free!! Had my Volvo towed to White Eagle after an accident. The premises were modern and organized so I had them do the required repair work. they did a great job in everything from the actual repairs to handling the insurance billings and required paper work. The staff was friendly and helpful and my car works great. When I first took it home there was a rattle and so I took it back and they got me in right away and fixed the rattle which wasn't in the areas they worked on, but they found it and fixed it no charge. On March 11, I took my car in with bumper damage to get an estimate and schedule a time when they could work on it. The gentleman stepped out to assess my damaged car. He walked around and checked out the whole car. I was told they could do the work Tuesday or Wednesday the following week; drop it off. On March 17, I dropped off my car. Brian employee of White Eagle step out, and again he walked around the car. He said it would take 5 working business to complete it. On March 21, I was told my car was ready for pick up. Upon arriving at the body shop to pick up up my car, I notice scratches on the passenger side of my door. When Brian finished up with another customer, he walked over, and I said what happen to my car. He was very shocked to see the scratches as he assessed the scratches on the passenger side of my car I proceeded to check out the rest of my car only to find more scratches on the other side. Brain said these scratches were not on your car when you dropped it off. Brian then proceeds to tell another employee; they guys must have scratched the car when they were vacuuming it out with the hose. He said I think we can buff it out. They tried to buff it out, but it didn't work. Brian said, leave your car, and we are going to make this right. On Monday 23rd, I received a call from Brian saying we took a look at the pictures we took when your car came in, and the scratches were already there. I then proceeded to send photos of the car the day before I brought it in that the insurance company requested, and there were no scratches. Then Brian sent me the pictures they took of my car on March 18, and again the scratches were not there, only shadows of stuff in the background. I went in today to get my car, and GM Scott came out and tried to convince me the scratches were there. Then Scott said, what do you want me to do, I said fix my car. He insinuated I was trying to get my whole car painted which was not true; just fix the scratches on my car. read more

I have gotten body work repairs done to my car twice now. Their customer service was professional and timely. When they did my first repair on the front end, a few months later I noticed that a part was loose. When I went in to get some other body work done after my car was hit, they fixed their earlier repair at no cost within a reasonable amount of time. They also partner with Hertz so when I needed a rental a sales rep from Hertz was onsite and ready to meet me so I didn't have to make an additional trip to the car rental office. read more

My original repairs were done in September 2012 and since then I had made countless return visits to the shop to have them corrected. The car is still far from being repaired correctly. Brought my 95 Integra here a while ago after someone put a basketball sized dent in the rear quarter panel. The dent was removed within a day's time and did not require the panel to be filled or painted. The extremely large dent had cracked the paint around the edges and when I picked up the car they had even touched up the paint to prevent further pealing or cracking. Most bodyshops wanted over a thousand to fix the dent, and I had the dent removed for around 200 dollars. Super friendly and professional staff, quotes are quick and they don't mind answering any questions you have. And they're even Honda/Acura certified for body repair. read more

They had fixed my TSX a couple years on hail storm damage. Overall quality is not so great what they claimed. They put after market back windshield and all small screws didn't tied up securely. They slapped the driver side door frame molding without a glue and one strip part is missing. I should give them a zero star if there is a such rating. read more

Seems like they are becoming old friends, my car was broken in to and the damage was 2 doors, drivers window, side mirror and rear view mirror. Total repair time was 7 days and the car looks great. Handled the rental car also. They did not realize that the rear view mirror compass was damaged also so they had to order the part when I picked up the car. Went in the next Saturday morning and within 30 minutes I was back on the road with the new mirror / compass. I cannot say enough about the service and attitude during the process. If you tell your insurance company you want to use them it usually is very quick. Sometime I have seen the insurance company to blame for the delays in paperwork or approvals. The work is great, the people the best. If you need a shop in the Aurora/Naperville area I would not hesitate to have your vehicle repaired there. read more
