Larry is the best. Lynette is the best - let me tell you why - I had a hit and run and the sideview mirror on the driverside got knocked off . My husband can no longer address these kind of things due to his heath Larry walked me through all the procedures - read the insurance claim - and worked everything out with them. When I dropped off the car Lynette had a pickup from Enterprise all set . Larry contacted me with an update and Lynette informed me when the car would be ready. When I picked up the car, I was able to leave the rental car as Lynette had scheduled the pick-up. Now here is the BEST part my car was beautiful when I picked it up - Larry did a SUPER job - he really has a lot of talent - all scrapes and scuffs gone. and the new mirror - matched perfectly with the car. My girlfriend had a very unpleasant experience with this shop. She brought her car in to buffer some scrapes after getting hit. They held her car for over 3 weeks after initially saying it would take one. When she picked up her car there were still several scrapes on the car. I got in an accident in my 1998 Honda Civic, and the insurance adjustor came back with a $2,000 estimate on repairs. As a recent college graduate who was in the process of planning his wedding, I didn't have the money to pay for that, so I put the repairs off. Eventually, I decided to go into B&L Auto Body and ask them, point blank, how much it would cost to repair the car so that it would be safe to drive on the highway. I didn't need the car to look pretty: I just needed to know if it could be repaired at a rate I could afford. It turned out that I needed a new right-side fender, a new bumper, and a new right headlamp. The hood was fixable. Still, though, the estimate was coming back higher than I was able to pay, so we decided that we'd search for cheap parts and skip painting any of the new parts. Like I said, I didn't care if it looked great: this car has a quarter-of-a-million miles on it, and it's days of beauty are probably gone. When I left B&L with an estimate, I was looking at an $800 bill for repairs that would make my car safe to drive, $1,200 less than an insurance adjustor had told me it would cost. It was a reasonable price, and I decided to have B&L do the repairs. They seemed like good, friendly, and helpful people, and I had a good feeling that they would be the job to my satisfaction. When I went into B&L a week later to pick up my car, Larry told me that his staff had decided to paint the replacement parts free of charge. It was an amazing, above-and-beyond gesture that showed how much this place cares about their customers and their work. The car looked great and drove like it had before the accident. An auto body shop is like a plumber or dentist, you don't ever want to need one, and finding a good one is a cobra sized headache. This little mongoose needs to rethink that now. After a recent nasty collision we had, B&L took great care in picking up our vehicle, worked seamlessly with our insurance company, set a realistic completion schedule for the work, politely handled our inquiries, came in on estimate and returned a better than new, completely repaired, freshly waxed vehicle. They even reported some minor things they saw that we should take care of that weren't related to the accident. Very professional, courteous, patient and polite. I found this place thanks to Yelp and even though it only had to reviews, but they were 2 good reviews! Plus the competition made me nervous...so off to B&L auto it was! I got rear ended and my car needed to be fixed up. I called them up and they told me to just take my car there and they'll take a look. I gotta say they weren't all warm and fuzzy on the phone so I was a little nervous to take my car in after that, but I trusted my instincts and went anyway. Keep in mind these guys may be a little hard to find, they are hidden in the back of a few other businesses (pretty much across the street from McDonalds so use that as a guide) and the parking lot is a little snug. I walked right in and they immediately took my info and looked at my car. I had my part ordered and I was out in 10 minutes. My part didn't come in exactly as fast as they thought but that is no fault on them, they called me when it came in and I let them know how long I would have my rental car for. They called the rental company for me and had me picked up. The best part about this place is that they are fast! I don't know if this is usual but my car was ready the very next day! My car is perfect and I even got a surprise B&L mug left in my car. It's the little things! They charged me exactly what the other insurance paid me for damages and it really was no hassle with them at all. I was really expecting something to go wrong or having to wait another week, etc. I absolutely recommend this place, they do fast, efficient and excellent work! I don't mind at all that they aren't Johnny over the top friendly, they are there to get the work done, and they do an awesome job. There is one word to describe B & L's work and service... awesome! My Pontiac G6 was recently in a rear end accident. Trying to find someone with a good reputation and great quality of work was very hard. Allstate had originally wrote up my estimate. Not really liking that repair center, I looked around and finally decided on B&L. Best decision! Larry was excellent. I was able to email him all the documentation and get an appointment. He is extremely busy so it was a couple weeks out. I dropped off the car and the lady already had an Enterprise van coming to pick me up. The front desk was more than helpful. Never once did I get any attitude and I called about every other day checking on it. The only minor bump was Allstate dragging their feet on the supplemental damage (took them over a week to approve it). But once it was approved, I had my car out of the shop in two days. It looks better than brand new. They even vacuumed and cleaned the interior. Plus I have a brand new travel mug in my console. I am so happy with their service. Crash, Bang, Crap! Yep, I needed to get some work done after getting rear ended. I get really stressed out whenever I have to have something repaired especially a costly repair. this place was recommended by my insurance company so went for an estimate. worst experience of my life. owner was tired, crabby and not very excited to talk with me. went on forever about how busy he was and how he doesn't provide preliminary estimates, just parts estimates. asked him how can I be assured that his charges would be acceptable to my insurance. company. lots of double talk and he was obviously agitated that I would dare ask questions. couldn't wait to get out of there. someday when the economy levels out, these business's that abandoned customer service so shamelessly will hopefully close down. I noticed a large hole that had rusted out under the passenger side of my Nissan Altima. I brought it by Larry around December, 2014. He gave me a quote and a possible time frame for repair...between 3 - 5 days. I finally was able to make an appointment for June because they were fully booked in May. When I brought it back in, he remembered me and the amount he quoted me. I brought it in on a Monday and asked if there was a chance to get it sooner rather than later because I was going out of town that weekend. Well, they had it done in three days and not only was it done early, they had washed the outside, cleaned the inside and left a new insulated coffee mug in my console. Wow! Finally an auto body shop that did excellent work. I went in to get the front bumper replaced. They had it done early, and even threw in a bit of touch-up painting on my back bumper. It is true that the front counter lady isn't the most charismatic, but once she warms up a bit she's quite helpful and pleasant. We had B&L work on our 2008 Honda CR-V after a minor crash. They towed the car and worked with our insurance company without any problems. They kept me posted on the status of the car, and returned my calls or answered my questions promptly. Larry negotiated using almost entirely original Honda parts to repair my car, and still got it covered by the insurance. Normally body shops get cheap replacement parts to save themselves a lot of money. But once I got the car back, I couldn't even tell it was in an accident. Everything fit perfectly and looks flawless. The paint job was perfectly blended and even in the bright sunlight I couldn't find any variations in the color. It's like the car came out of the factory again. The whole job took a little longer than I expected, but because of the high quality work, I didn't mind the extra few days to get everything done. this place is ok. Not great. certainly not friendly people. They are busy doing insurance related work - so when you walk in their office they are not pleased to see you. Seems like they wish you would go away. I would give them 2 stars for customer service and 3 stars for quality of work. They are not cheap either. If insurance is paying for it you're ok, but if your paying out of pocket go somewhere else. There are better shops and certainly worse. read more
