So, someone smashed the side of my CRV and as a college student, I was crushed in more ways than just the car. No way could I afford for it to be TOTALED with negative equity. But Gieco hooked me up with a guy who went out to estimate the auto damage. He recommended taking it over here to Riverdale, as I would get in it immediately and get it fixed (RELIABLY!) within the next two weeks instead of month and half at the closest Honda body shop. I needed a hard to find windshield for my Audi. After calling around I talked to Joel at Riverdale body shop. He had the windshield in two days. After finding some rust under the old windshield he had the installer wait while he contacted me. We agreed that the windshield frame and roof should be painted b4 the new glass went in. Riverdale painted the roof and installed a new windshield for the price the dealer wanted just to put in a new windshield! And they delivered the car back to me. Joel (Riverview Body Shop) has done repairs to our vehicles for many years and he has always exceeded our expectations. He has done everything from a major repair in 2007, which remained perfect for many years, to just painting a bumper for me that I bought to fix up an older Trailblazer. Brought my 2013 BMW in for a couple non insurance work. Overall did a good job but attention to detail could be improved. However, once pointed out the areas needing touch up, they will fix it. I took off one star because there was a delay due to missing a paint touch up spot and the free detail that came with the job was not noticeable (since it was free I did not argue this point at the time). Sal was great to work with so I will recommend this body shop to anyone. read more
