It was a very peaceful environment allowing me to relax and spend time with deceased family and friends.

I went to visit a dear friend yesterday who had elected for a green burial. Admittedly we have had heavy rain the past couple of days, but the whole green burial area was more like a swamp than a flowery meadow, as is pictured on the website. It took me almost 15 minutes to find my friend's plaque, which had been completely covered by mower clippings. Over the past three years I have seen increasing neglect of the whole green burial area. I am quite sure this was not what my friend had in mind as her final disposition site. I am so thoroughly disappointed in White Haven's disrespect of the green burial deceased and their families. read more

When my mother died suddenly, White Haven was very helpful They helped with everything, from there I give them a 5. They have a Jewish section which allowed a non Jewish spouse to be buried next to them. We bought two plots. Getting the monument has been horrific. Delay after delay. They went through 3 or 4 different reps who did not pass our info along and when time was going by we would call to see what the hold up was and the excuse was we lost track when the person left. We sent in our wording for both the Hebrew and the English. We checked and found mistakes in the HEBREW and it was corrected. The English lettering was fine, but when the proof came back I and My mother's husband did not notice the one letter mistake in a word. My step father signed the proof and we got back a flawed monument. Which, by the way, has yet to be installed 1.5 years after her burial. The problem is they didn't check it eitherand they had the correct english wording. We asked if they would fix this and they said we could for about $2,000! If there was no cost they certainly would do it! When I said I would be writing a review reflecting our experience they responded by stating that the next of kin, my step father, not the owner of the plots, me had the say. When I pointed out its been over a month since he approved it for installation why have they not followed their own advice and listened to the next of Kin? Crickets....... read more

The officiant was lovely but the chapel was disgusting. We were inundated with bugs, maybe fruit flies. It really detracted from the memorial. read more

Never fun to write a review of a cemetery and memorial service location! My Aunt recently passed and services were held in the White Haven All Seasons Chapel. During COVID, they have every other pew/row blocked off to accommodate social distancing, and masks are currently required everywhere around White Haven's sprawling grounds. I was able to sit with my immediate family members for the duration of the memorial service. The cemetery itself is beautiful and well maintained. This wasn't my first trip here, as my grandparents also chose White Haven as their final resting place, in one of the many Mausoleums. On a sunny day, sun shines through each buildings natural light, and the graveyard itself is also a sight to behold, given its size. This year has certainly forced families to reckon with loss in a more immediate and painful way than ever. I was impressed by White Haven's attention to detail, and was grateful for a space to gather with my family to honor my Aunt. read more

As you pull on to the grounds you can immediately see that the staff takes pride in their work. From the landscape, flowers, benches and the roads. As most cemetery should be a place of peace and tranquility and this is. Even when I drive here in the winter time the roads and trails are always clear. I have been here for services in the All Season's Chapel (large room) and in the Creation Chapel (smaller room) There is a gathering room for loved ones to use after the service as well as a food service option. For my grandfathers burial , we had a military service and the staff here helped take care of every detail ... taking a lot stress of my grandmother and family. They have so many options here, burial or cremation, mausoleums or ground, nature trail, rock lawn or grass burial. Whatever option is decided it will be well taken care of. I really appreciate the staff here at White Haven with their thoughtfulness, caring and professionalism during a difficult and sad time. read more

went there and puchased a single cremated niche at the all season mausoleum back in february 2015 only cost me $855.00. i spoke with mrs hoefen who took care of my needs very nice very friendly person. a month later my niche at the mausoleum had my name and the year i was born on it..checks out the other cemetery holy sepulcher they wanted something like $1,400.00 for a single cremated niche but it wasnt in a mausoleum its the round things made of some type of plastic there.and it was located in some section near the brick wall near lake ave. you think im that stupid? hell no read more

Disappointing working with White Haven. Numerous mistakes and unprofessional. Tried scheduling burial and they would not schedule claiming we still owed money. It was paid in full. .They claimed we did not send in the cremation certificate. They ended up finding it. Also, they delayed ordering our plaque. Again, claimed that we did not send it in. They ended up finding our e-mail. Back office is a mess and unorganized. Very difficult to work with in times of grieving. They admitted to each mistake. White Haven fulfilled all of my needs and more in a time where I really could have used some help. They laid out all of their options for my father and showed me around to let me make the decision of where he was going to be laid to rest.
