I'm particularly looking to see who will be helping my family through the process. They were very straight forward and good at listening. It was clear they wanted to adjust to our needs. Mike was ready to help advise when needed and accommodate wherever we already had ideas. He's the first guy we meet who was a friend rather than a "salesman". We actually had a pleasant experience through a difficult time. Facilities - pristine Pricing - reasonable and straightforward Personality - a keeper (I recommend Mike) Helpful - no pressure, lots of choices My family has a sense of humor about things like this and felt at ease through the whole conversation. It was clear from the very beginning that he couldn't get us out of there fast enough. The building was cold and dark. We were told that they had another group's visitation hours that day and that seeing my mother's remains one last time would be inconvenient. He made it clear he had more important things going on. He was filling out the requisite forms so quickly and messily I thought he would get some information wrong. In fact, they had to call me later that day to make corrections for exactly that reason. When going over an itemization of expenses, I asked what their fee covered and he looked at me as if to say: how dare I ask? He only remembered to be friendly and wish condolences as we were heading out the door. My friend and I walked out more jittery than when we'd walked in, quite an accomplishment considering I had just watched my mother's passing. We were relieved to get out of there. But I was worried. I was told I could pickup my mother's remains in 2-3 days. I called on day two, they said to come on over. They gave me someone else's remains (same last name and, incidentally, wrong gender). Thank God I had my friend with me. She caught the mistake before we were too far away. At this point I felt I had to stick my nose where it didn't belong because I didn't trust them to act honestly. The other Keenan brother rushed her remains over from an off-site facility. It was all highly unprofessional. When I called to speak with Kelly about all the above, she was very kind and easy to deal with and promised a $200 refund for the inconvenience experienced. I have yet to receive the check. This was in March. It is now July. I don't want anyone to experience what I did during such a stressful time. Do not go to Keenan. They were great at one time when they took care of my father and hopefully will be again.

My boys been having a rough time of it and was fitting to pass out. I go to look for a place for him to cool off, so i see this old fella standing around doing nothing. I ask him if there is a private room we could get my boy in?? This guy starts goin off and rising his voice. When I tried explain what was goin on he started shouting over me about how he was the owner and he'd have me thrown out. That was the last draw. I told him forget it but that didnt calm him down none. He kept screaming louder following me down the hall. Thats when I realized I heard the voice before and sure enough it was the same fella that was yelling at someone upstairs the week before!! I dont know what kind of place this is but i sure wont ever be back. There aint no one should be treated like that, specially on one of the hardest days of your life.

Today I emailed to check in and received a call back from Jill that our headstone will not be delivered on time. It hadn't shipped yet. I purchased at end of April and was assured it was enough time. Today all I got were excuses. "tarrifs have made US suppliers overwhelmed", "the owner is pulling his hair out", "you had a special order so they probably did all the easy stones first", and "the quarry cutters are out for the rest of the week so it would be a miracle if we got it by the 12th". We are extremely disappointed that no one was monitoring shipping dates through the last three months to alert us of any potential issues nor was I ever told mine was a "special size". I was assured the stone would be in place for our mom's burial. Now my family will never see her headstone in person since we live in CA. They have robbed us of proper ceremony for our mom. They had an obligation to be upfront on delivery before they took our money. If they had I could've gone elsewhere. The lack luster attitude is unacceptable. There was no attempt to make things right, we're just supposed to accept it. I sent a review into the company tonight. I'll see if they have any response or care for the celebration they have stolen from us. I can not recommend this company unless they make it right and have our mother's headstone in time for her burial.

From the moment I first contacted DM Williams funeral home, I was treated like I was the only customer. From the professional answering staff to the entire funeral service staff, everyone was always on point and helpful. The services were very reasonable. The absolute best part was when my father saw his wife of over 50 years, ready to go on to glory. It simply took his breath away and a huge smile washed over his face with relief. He immediately thanked them for making his wife look like she was sound asleep. After months of being in hospitals, rest homes and ambulances, my mom was tired and looked so uncomfortable all the time. I don't know how they did it other than truly using"magic" but she looked like an angel! At the wake and funeral, everyone was extremely pleased with her appearance. The casket was perfect also. We had to ship my mom out of state for her final resting place. When the receiving funeral home observed my mother 3 days after the initial funeral, the owner asked who had done the work. I told them and they insisted I relay the message that they had done a very good job.The owner is a third generation funeral home director with over 30 yrs in the business. So that was an awesome compliment! I have since thanked DM Williams on behalf of my family for all that they have done. However, after the review I found out that a call center was responsible for my issues. The owner of the company reached out to me and made sure I was taken care of and apologized for the issue. He truly knows what customer service is about and loves his business and what he does. With any business, small mistakes can happen, but in the end it's all about how much you care. This company cares.
