I've only visited this store twice (back in 2018 and recently this last month as I was in town for a conference) - as I was walking in & the store/mall had just opened up for the day right at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I was impressed by how perfectly curated, organized, and welcoming the entire space was. It's not just a department store, it's a luxury shopping experience that knows how to treat you right. The selection is outstanding -- whether you're looking for designer pieces, everyday wear, high-end cosmetics, or shoes that actually make you feel something, this store has it all. Every department was stocked beautifully, and more importantly, staffed by people who genuinely knew what they were doing. I never once felt rushed, ignored or unwelcomed. What really sets this location apart, though (besides that the bottom level is a Nordstrom Rack location & the 3 floors above makes the full-line store) - is the level of customer service. The employees here go above & beyond to make sure you leave with exactly what you want, and maybe a little more. From the personal stylists to the beauty experts to the checkout experience--it's smooth, attentive, and actually enjoyable. Clean, classy, and effortlessly cool -- this is hands-down - the best Nordstrom that I've ever visited. It sets the bar for what a flagship should be.

Arya to the rescue!! - Yesterday, I ordered a Kurt Geiger…read morebag online for in store pickup. Towards the end of the night, I picked up my order from the pick-up counter. I quickly realized that my handbag did not have a box. The lady at the online pick-up counter offered me a general, white gift box. While I appreciate her trying to help, everyone knows that a Kurt Geiger purse MUSTTTTTT come in the original box. That's a major part of the brand. Instead, I received the handbag in a plastic bag that reminded me of a produce bag. Eek! The lady at the pickup counter walked me upstairs to the handbag department where Arya saved the day! She apologized for the way my handbag was inappropriately handled by the other department. Not only did she find the beautiful box that it belonged in, she also wrapped it with a lovely bow. By this time, the store was close and she did not rush me at all or throw together a quick bow for the sake of time. She handled my gift with pride and care to ensure I walked away satisfied. I really appreciate her doing that and giving me the box that I actually paid for when I purchased the gift. No one wants KG in a grocery/produce looking bag. Arya understands quality and care. I hope she can be recognized for her customer service and kindness last night. Sidenote: All pick-up orders should include the original box or packaging that it comes with. This is not the flea market or FB marketplace. A store like Nordstrom should understand what it means to present the total package. Nevertheless, I'm giving the store a 5/5 because the 1st associate was kind enough to walk me upstairs so that Arya could save the day.

After trying to work through it (I don't recall why she simply couldn't replace the paper) she tried to convince me to just go without a receipt. I also recall a couple leaving because the wait was so long. In the end, I just left without a receipt. The shoes were just some Crocs so I was okay with it but..... c'mon. On this visit, I first noticed the amount of fingerprints and smudges on the front door. It just gave 'dirty' vibes. I barely wanted to touch the door to go in. Then, I walked in, and the employee (who, for some reason, I assumed was the manager) was on speakerphone having a conversation with who knows who. He continued that conversation while walking throughout the store with shoeboxes (working I suppose). He continued that speakerphone conversation the whole time I was there. He did finally ask me if I needed anything. Granted, there were only a handful of us in the store, but still..... Is that what we're doing these days? I do most of my shopping on-line and, I guess things have changed. The store was in good shape though. It was pretty clean and the shoes were organized. It was a weekday and I did finally hear one other employee speak up. They have a nice assortment of shoes and I did find some boots I've been looking for for awhile.

She provided the item and I used the fitting room to make sure it fit before making the purchase. Checkout was easy and I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I know this store very well. It is very high-end. I have bought some really nice pieces at this…read morestore. And it is not cheap, but most of the items are high quality; a few items are priced reasonably; and quite a few pieces are on the eclectic and artistic side. All very nice. I would easily give this store four or five stars but at times they have issues with people of color, specifically Black people, shopping there. The third time I was there the clerk followed me around that small space (it is so small she could see me by just standing in one place and pivoting). She behaved as if I was going to steal something, and it was obvious and certainly not customer friendly. Her attitude suggested that she didn't think I could afford anything in the store, and she even rattled off the prices out loud so I would know how much an item was--all for the other patrons to hear as well. She didn't know I had spent $500 during my first visit; and $300 on my second visit (these amounts are miniscule compared to what a lot of women spend in this store). Imagine her surprise and then immediate deference when I bought a $750 leather jacket and a few other items. Then when her computer found that I was a repeat customer she lavished me with false praise. However, since then I have not gone back to shop there. Life is much too precious to spend hard earned money at stores where you are treated like they don't want you there; stores that hire people with deep-seated racial biases or they simply condone such behavior among the other customers or the staff. It is a shame though, I really liked this store. But these days I only go and spend money where all people are treated with genuine respect.
