I came back to DC for another visit and went into this store hoping to finally get a photograph in the mock/fake oval office with President Trump. When I got there there was no cutout or mention of President Trump. I asked the employee why and he said they had to sell them and didn't have anymore. Yeah, do I look like an idiot? I am betting that due to snowflakes not liking our president they had issues with it being battered around (see last review). It would be so nice if adults could run this place and just keep people accountable and not allow that behavior by customers. Whether or not you like it, Donald Trump IS our president. This is a fun store right across the White House for all your White House souvenirs and everything you could imagine you'd want to see crafted as a memorable item. Lots of Trump items along with several other items that are iconic staples of the DC area and National mall. I also saw PLENTY of Cherry Blossom festival memorabilia which I absolutely loved because of how fun they were. Lots of tourists did swing by to purchase items and a greeter welcomes you in along with sending you off. I purchased a 2018 cherry blossom pin and a bookmark from here and it set me back around $15. As a tourist I loved this store for everything a tourist wants: mugs, shot glasses, t-shirts, postcards and so much more. Was quite tired of walking and the sweet lady who rang up my purchase was very friendly and kind. I wanted to take a bus or train back to my hotel but could not understand the system. She not only helped me download the app for the metro system but also explained how it works so this weary traveler could get off her feet. I have to say that Aliza was amazing! Located across the street from the white house, we were able to find a variety of gifts and souvenirs to bring home for ourselves and friends. They have some cute things and you can pretty much find everything and anything you need. Prices are not too expensive. They even have a spot where you can take pics of yourself as if you're in the oval office. It's a cute idea. I'm sure I'll be back to buy more things if I'm back. Really Poor Customer Service - Online Orders I placed an on-line order. No follow-up other than one confirmation e-mail. After no update for about 10 days, I finally inquired about the status of the order via e-mail. I then received an update e-mail saying the order had been shipped. But the tracking number showed they had just created a shipping label within minutes of me sending the e-mail. No response to e-mail inquiring about the shipment date. Finally received notice a day later that the shipment has been picked up. The follow-up and customer service is really below par at this place. I wouldn't order again from them. Slowest shipping I've encountered. No way to contact them via their website. Not a good experience. Caveat emptor. read more

I was walking around DC in the White House area and saw this store. I went in thinking it might be a place for official souvenirs (like from the WH Historical Society). However, it was just another tourist trap. They had lots of WH related items relevant to past Presidents and candidates from both parties. This gift shop is totally non responsive to emergency requests. I have irritable bowel syndrome and needed a restroom desperately. I asked to use the bathroom and was refused. I was literally starting to pass bowel and they still refused I said"even if I start pooping all over your floor?" The manager still refused.
