The prices are incredibly reasonable, and scheduling is easy also quick to get in where others u would have to wait weeks... these two were 2 months over due, so they had some Matt's under their arms and ears.. I do my best to cut them out. But they did an even better job making them cute and even gave each a bandana.. where if u go to Pets Mart or petco, u have to pay 5$ extra. I will definitely be scheduling their next appt here. The location is perfect for us as well 1 minute up the road... I can't wait to try out the boarding... according to their menu they are spoiled.

I was recently very disappointed and angry regarding how our beagle's health was handled just last…read moreweek. I brought him in because he was breathing very fast. First, the vet tells me he has a heart murmur, which really surprised me because he had been going there since we got him as a puppy to 7 years old as of last week and that condition was never brought up before. She did ask to do an x-ray to see if she could see anything about the heart before we had to take him to a dog cardiologist. She comes back and tells me he "might" have a murmur but the breathing was due to pneumonia. I had to then authorize another test to be sent out to find out what kind of pneumonia he had and was sent home with the lowest type of antibiotic until then and a $580.00 bill. Unfortunately, he passed away two days later. I don't understand how she didn't see he had so much fluid in his lungs and either do something to relieve that or keep him for observation. When I called them to tell him he died, all I was told that she was sorry and then transferred me to the receptionist to tell me MORE charges to take care of him from there! We took him to Imperial Animal Hospital instead where they had more compassion and lower prices to offer us during this difficult time. I will NEVER take another one of our animals there again. I feel the vet was very negligent in fully diagnosing his condition at that time. I have not heard another word from them and plan on disputing the charges with our credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!

We checked out Kritter Kare's Howliday Inn and a few other places near us on a Tuesday and the dogs had to be boarded starting Wednesday. We choose to use the Howliday Inn and I'm glad we did. The facility is clean, modern and welcoming. The 3 staff members we interacted with with were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There is a large inside common area for the doggy day care and at least 3 outside play yards. I was shown two boarding areas and we were able to keep our 3 dogs together in one area which really seemed to help with any anxiousness they had about the new and unexpected situation. They were super accommodating to our needs of a very early drop off and a very late pick up due to the last-minute out of town travel. They communicated with me after the drop-off, providing updates and even pics on how the dogs were doing. The rates were fair/comparable and communicated up-front . The short story is the dogs were well taken care of and seemed to have a good time. I certainly recommend this business and will use it again if we need to board any or all of our dogs again. BTW - they also offer day sitting/playtime and additional services that can be performed while your dog is boarded such as grooming and nail care. Thanks to Jen and her staff for helping out in a hectic time and we're so happy that everything worked out great for the dogs.

Williamsburg was one place recommended to me. When I visited, I felt very good about the facility and people. The facility was very clean, well organized and staffed. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in the animals under their care. My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stays (and for a time she was there more than she was at home). She came to know the staff and was always happy to see them. The staff knew her and always treated her so nicely. She was always happy to arrive and just as happy when I came home. While I no longer travel as much, Williamsburg remains the place I trust to take care of my dog. She always seems happy to see the staff and I've been very happy with the service I have received.

The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.

We were, of course, upset because we really didn't want to put him down but no choice,long story. Anyway, I made an appointment specifically for euthanasia, and explained the reason over ther phone. When we got there the vet would not put him down, but instead asked if we would be willing to try training. I was shaking when we walked out of there. Not a good way to run a business.

Doctors Emo, Worth and Church have all treated my dogs with nothing less than loving tender care. They treat your animals like their own. Their diagnosis and treatment is always dead on with great results. The boarding side is fantastic. The 2 dogs love to be together and they accommodate the need. They get excercise, fed regularly with vitamins and prescriptions administered to your directions. They are bathed for weeklong stays. Pics of them are posted or emailed to you. The shift worker just explained that she didn't know why, since she wasn't there til 2 pm. If I didn't ask why the total charge included the snack, I'd again would have paid for one and just assumed he got it. (so now two times no record of his day) .... 7 hours with no snack at all in a busy day of running around is long enough that I'd think there would be someone who knows what's up. Like a note book. SERVICE haa changed at least since winter for my buddy, and I sure do not want him to just be a number....and iso, f you take yours there for day care, be sure to ask questions and hope someone has at LEAST a note in some sort of daily file. That's what it's all about.

Look we get that our dog could come back with kennel cough (even if they are vaxed) or some parasite because some other dog gave them something - not that the whole building burned down (which no one told us about! Had to find out via a neighbor who happened to see it on FB). When we politely asked for their insurance info again we were met with "we don't have to answer that and we are now sending anything else to spam and will throw away any letter you send us" I don't know about everyone else but that's not how I think you run a business especially after almost killing 70 dogs.
