We really love Aimee and have been going to her for years to have our Australian shepherd-corgi mix groomed. In general we try to support small businesses, and Flying Fur has been through so much in the last few years, with the pandemic and other roadblocks (I.e. a lightning fire) that would've likely made many other business owners call it quits. Aimee has persevered and asked for patience from her patrons through several moves and other personal challenges but always ALWAYS remembers to respond to appointment requests and works us in within a week or two when we need a grooming. I'm proud to support her business as she has remained professional and dedicated through it all as a one-woman show. All that said, she also does a really great job on our pup! Sasha always looks so fresh and adorable after her grooming and smells so nice. The cute seasonally themed bandanas are also a nice touch! Tried to get my Chihuahua' nails trimmed. They dont make appointments for trimming. Tried for 3 days to get in for a trimming which takes 5-10 minutes. So disappointed we moved here from Cincinnati and found this location through yelp. Our first experience was wonderful. Our bernadoodle can be tough to cut but they gave him a beautiful trim. We took him back today and I am so unhappy. My husband picked him up and said they were very short with him. He was afraid to even asked what happened to his beautiful hair. What's even worse is they charged the same amount for a shave as a trim. Trims take twice if not three times as long. She specifically told my husband she may have to shave his legs but his whole body came back shaved with absolutely no explanation. I am so glad to have found this place!!!! I went in on a whim just to get my dogs nails trimmed. They recommended grooming and were able to fit my dog in just two days later. My dog was a bit nervous when I dropped her off (she is a rescue), but was happy as could be when she got picked up! Her hair cut was perfect. Her hair is super shiny and soft, and she smells SO GOOD! They even put a cute little bandana around her neck. It truly is the little things that count. I could not be happier with this groomer. I am a foster for Gateway Pet Guardians and recently fostered a Pekingnese named Judith. She was found running as a stray, covered in trash and matted. Someone had even tried to shave her and she looked like a total mess. We needed a groomer ASAP. The groomer was able to fit us in the very next day and she worked complete magic. The dog was completely different in both look and demeanor. After her groom, more families came forward wanting to adopt Judith which is worth every penny! Took my pup two days ago during holiday season and received terrible service. The professionalism was not up to part, rush job color and cut was mediocre. The worse part was when I reached back out to them about the service, that's when the entire experience when down hill. The haughty disposition I incurred after getting the wrong color and a bad hair cut prompted this review. We take both of our dogs - a large breed and a toy breed - and they do a great job on both of them. The entire staff is super nice and they always remember our names and the dogs' names . Imagine my disappoint, the Website states that Flying Fur takes all breeds . . . not true! The woman answering the phone stated she was taking new clients and was booked several weeks out, no worries. Very satisfied with the cuts they gave our girls. Even let them shave our Spaniel which I was very skeptical of but she looks great.

They are using untrained groomers to trim nails with no training and cut in the Kwik but didn't say a word till I called back when blood was on Van riding back and blood on kitchen floor ,and went back and got very Unprofessional, Cocky,and Rude employee saying about , I've been doing this 25 years in Nasty Tone, I've been in animal care 38 yeats ,I am to old to wash 70 lb German Shepard Let the Vet trim nails,the Kwik cut into is very painful for your Baby read more

I wanted to try a local business for my chihuahuas grooming needs. The Friday before the Wednesday she had her appointment is when I scheduled her appt. I dropped her off promptly at noon only to be told that I would get a call 4-5 hours later for her to be picked up. This is their normal wait period. You can pay an extra $15 for your pup to be seen quicker, ahead of the rest, but I didn't want to pay this and wasn't expecting to have to do I waited. Her appointment was at noon and at 4:15 I got a call that she was ready. You get an hour to pick up your dog before your charged for them staying too long so I left what I was doing and headed to get her. At 4:55 when I was down the street, I got a call asking if I was coming because they closed at 5 this day. I know I could have checked their hours but I just assumed I had an hour to pick her up after getting the call that she was ready. I don't understand why it takes 5 hours to groom a 9 pound chihuahua. I get there are big dogs that take time and that they can't make promises about what time your pup will be ready to reunite with you but 5 hours plus a call that they are closing before you arrive was just obnoxious to me. The girl at the front wasn't super nice either which just generally bothers me. Won't be using them again. Will try to find another local grooming place for my dog. read more

Been there three times before and called in with my name and my dogs name and they cant seem to ever be able to find my dog in the system. Mocked me when I asked her to look up by my name. Last time I went there it was a mess and the place smelled bad. Used to go to A Walk In The Park in the same building but they moved. I usually do not write comments, however the ladies at flying fur did an amazing job on my pup today and they deserve a great recommendation. I'm from Texas and recently moved here. I still have not had my dog groomed since moving here because my mother usually does it. I made the appointment with them and they got him in very quickly they de tangled all of his matted hair because he is schnauzer poodle mix and made him look amazing.
