Can't beat the value for the money at the White House Restaurant. It's fast and full of friendly folks to take care of you. Never had a bad meal. You gotta love that country cooking with no dishes to clean up afterwards! It's great for kids because there is so much variety to choose from and so inexpensive that they can get whatever they want. Had heard of the place for years...very disappointed. Had fried chicken, it was ok, no better than Winn Dixie, Wal Mart, or Publix chicken. Food was expensive for quality & quantity. We had (2) meat & three, (limited selection), split a large salad (mix out of a bag), (2) tea & the bill was $24.00 - for lunch! Had been given a discount for 20% by a local dr., was told they couldn't honor it on this trip because didn't have the printed slip, on the bracelet from dr confirming had been a patient. Great food! Just a all around good place to eat. And the male server on the steam table on Sundays is absolutely a gentleman (Paul) and would help you in any way that he could. By carrying your tray to the table for you. He's just a very nice Southern gentleman. read more

The vegetables are good and the service is adequate but i have a few bones to pick. Last year everything was good but they must have changed cooks. In the last few months things have been going down hill. We used to come in on chicken dumplings day but the dumplings got more and more watery so we quit getting them. Then they started covering the meatloaf in gallons of barbecue sauce rather than a little ketchup or, my personal favorite, brown gravy. A little sauce on top might have been palatable but the meatloaf was swimming in it. The country fried steak used to be good but they've gone to pre-made breaded patties with so much breading you can't taste any meat. Then we tried lasagna day. It was good for a while but then got drier and less palatable. One day I tried the fried catfish. It was tough as shoeleather and i couldn't cut it with the steak knife. It's sad to see a once great place go down so fast. read more

Best meat and 3 around they always have a good selection. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Chicken and dressing is my favorite!

NOT great. I have had much better. too much breading in squash casserole. veggies just taste like right out of can. Is the catfish USA catfish? What I had on my plate one sat. night just isn't got the taste of catfish.Some of staff are not good to take care of you. read more

Absolutely delicious! Walk-thru deli style with too many choices to choose from! Everything is awesome! If you don't want the buffet, you can ask for a menu. The hamburger steak is my favorite! Their sweet tea is great and the service is quick! A great spot for a Sunday dinner with family! Everyone can choose something different! Highly recommended! The prices are awesome! read more

This is our favorite hometown restaurant! We eat from here usually 4 times a week. I actually joke that it is my kitchen. The prices for 2 adult plates and 2 children's plates are cheaper than I can grocery shop for. They have such a great selection of various meats and veggies that we all are able to get exactly what we want each night! I also love their ham & turkey club sandwich ordered from the menu, if you have not tried it, you should! Another great benefit is if you have one of the local high school football discount cards, with purchase of an adult meal, you get a free peach cobbler and this last for every visit for a year! The employees are super nice and if there is a time that they don't chat with you, it is simply because they are so busy and running!!! Please remember their waitresses depend on tips, same as any other restaurant. But, with that being said, that is another reason I get our orders to go most of the time, is to save money on drinks and tips, I do tip for my to go orders, but not as much as I do when eating in. read more

Oh my, you cannot beat the food! GREAT meat & 3! Kids eat FREE on Saturdays, the always have spaghetti on the bar on Saturdays for the kiddies I guess. Fantastic Pecan Pie, much better than Cracker Barrell's. The atmosphere is what it is, mostly locals. You're going there to eat good food not a fancy setup! read more

I have eaten here many times and have found the food and prices to be very good. Good, home-cooked food for those who enjoy country cooking - fried chicken, peas, mashed potatoes, etc. And the seafood specials are great as well. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and always love it so much that I leave planning the earliest I can go again. The fried chicken, meatloaf, macronia/cheese are to die for. The thought of the apple or peach cobbler makes my mouth water instantly. The wait staff was very courteous and helpful. Hope you are open for another 50 years, or more! read more
