That's a great deal, as local Buick dealer quoted me $175 for everything. Purchased Chip-Key and KeyFob via Amazon (make sure you look carefully at the year and model or you will be in a shipping war back and forth finding the right one). I recently re-organized my keys as I usually do about every 20 years needed or not. I needed about 30 keys made of all sorts to get spares and a complete set for everyone as needed. So, I decided to go to the small little quiet locksmith on the corner. Every key I had, double sided, house, vehicle and RV was just a few seconds away and everyone they made worked like the original- Short story while I am getting keys made: a guy comes in with a small safe/lockbox and asked to have it opened and another key made, he needed his passport. I looked up as the lady behind the counter reached over and pushed the open button...well I bet you can see where this is going but I had to laugh when the box popped open. Went in to have keys cut. The gal there was slow, unfriendly and unwilling. She tried to dissuade me by telling me there would be no guarantee that the keys would work. These were very simple but uncommon keys and I had the blanks. They wouldn't have had them... Maybe 3 minutes per key to cut. $11 per key. I tried Lowe's, but they don't cut keys from blanks they don't stock. This place is unorganized, cluttered and if this person is the only indication, not intent on providing even an average level of customer service. I'd go there only add a last resort. read more

I have called them a couple times in the past to unlock my car when I have locked the keys in. They charged a decent price but were slow to get there. A couple weeks back I brought in a broken key to have a new one made and they did a horrible job. It didn't match up at all and wouldn't even slide into the ignition of my car. This review is long over due. My experience with White Knight Safe & Lock happened on the holiday of Labor Day. It was a nightmare scenario. I was just a couple of weeks into living in my new studio apartment, and I got into the habit of locking the door knob from the inside and shutting the door behind me, and of course on Labor Day I forgot to pocket my keys before locking up to leave. I can't tell you how distressing it is to suddenly become locked away from all your possesions, belongings, and your own personal shelter. Because of this experience I have now broken that habit and only lock the deadbolt of the door from the outside of the door. Luckily, I atleast remembered to pocket my cell phone. I didn't know what to do. I asked google, "I'm locked out of my apartment, what do I do?" One of the options was to call a locksmith. But before that, I tried to contact someone from the rental management company that I got my apartment from to no avail. I tried calling a couple of different locksmith's before one of the locksmith companies referred me to White knight Safe & Lock. When I called White Knight Safe & Lock, the receptionist said it could take as long as 3hours for someone to show up, but then she referred me to another locksmith who could possibly help me sooner. That other locksmith company turned into a deadend, and all I had was White Knight Safe & Lock. Being that I might have to wait 3 hours, I figured I would take a long walk to a shopping mall to pass the time. Within 15 to 30 mins. I get a call from a White Knight Locksmith saying that he is on his way and will be there in 30 mins. I was completely ecstatic. So what was originally as long as 3 hours was able to happen within one hour. My Savior and hero of the day, was a young man named DJ. He opened my door with lock picks with the greatest of ease. He charged me $220, and said it was more because it was a holiday. I then asked him if he accepted tips. He couldn't figure out how to accept tips using my credit card, so I paid him everything I had in my wallet which amounted to $40-60. I would've paid him more if I had more. DJ is a hero for choosing to do such a job on a holiday when so many would rather take the day off. This locksmith company will always have my greatest respect, admiration, and support. read more

I bought a used car and needed keys cut. Dealership wanted an arm and a leg, they referred me to White Knight. The folks at White Knight are great! They keys fit perfectly (dealership said I needed special order blanks they didn't carry). White Knight was also able to "recut" a key that I had made at hardware store which didn't fit. All the keys White Knight cut work easily and smoothly...and they don't charge much at all. Great folks, great work. read more

My 2003 Chevy Silverado was almost stolen recently. It was my third vehicle theft or attempted theft in 3 years. The first on this truck. One previous attempt on a Saturn, the key cylinder was damaged but I manage to get it started with a screw driver eventually. However the Silverado was beyond my ability to start after several hours of trying and watching YouTube videos I gave up. I called the dealer and White Knight Safe & Lock was recommended. I called and was asked to give VIN photo of key and damage. Provided and was quoted a reasonable estimate. Called several other locksmiths but decided to use White Knight. Called back and scheduled a same day appointment at 11 AM. Received a call that technicians was running a little late but that was forgivable due to the pouring rain on November 16th. Two technicians arrived a little late at about 1 PM and went to work. They eventually managed to remove and replace key cylinder after over an hour of throwing every known tool in the arsenal at it as well as a few home made and improvised. Seems it was a little difficult to remove but understandable since neither the scum sucking would-be crook no myself were able to Succeed. One star deducted for late arrival and time it took outside in a freezing rain but understandable and forgivable. Cost was a little high at $350 but Chevy Dealer recommended. read more

I bought a used Honda truck that only came with one key order two keys on eBay for a great price but they had to be programmed by Honda at around 150.00 a key, I came to the White Knight and was very glad because the lady that cuts the keys and programs them with the proper equipment, took less than an hour and did a fabulous job, both keys work great and more than half the price for both keys! Worst customer service ever, I went into their store to have 2 transponder keys made for my vehicle. While waiting in their store, very vocal, FAMILY DRAMA, FAMILY DRAMA, FAMILY DRAMA, FAMILY DRAMA, OMG, I really didn't need or want to hear any of this crap. when the keys where done the woman who seamed to be in charge say's, "that'll be $60.50", I gave her $61.00 she handed me the keys, not thinking, I walked out to make sure the keys worked, they did, then, I realized she didn't give me my change, or receipt, so I went back in, and politely asked if she had said, $60.50, she responded with "oh, do you want the .50 cents", I said "I shouldn't have to ask for it, YES, and my receipt"!!! How can you trust someone (A LOCKSMITH) who willingly and willfully tries to rip off a customer of their change, that's just not right!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I called this place and after dealing with the rudest woman on the phone, she said to being in my safe. Upon arrival she said she needed the numbers off of it, we walked outside, and she shut the door in my face.... Um helloyou kind of need me to get in to my van!!! Then she asks me who's it is, and if my name is on anything, I explained all that to her and because my name was on the will inside the safe that wasn't good enough.... These guys were great. I had a key broken off in my passenger side door. Originally based on yelp recommendations I took it to a shop in kent with great reviews. This shop was nice but the guy who helped me was unsuccessful at removing the key and said I needed to make an appointment to have them fully remove the lock to get key out and it would probably cost around $150 and take a few hours. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and glad I did. These guys had the key out in less than 10 minutes and only cost $25. read more

Have never been treated so badly. Went in for some keys for an apartment building I manage. They had Do not Duplicate on them (for resident protection) so I had ID, a business credit card and business card. She said I had to have a business license (Who carrries that on them??!!). She was extremely rude from the start and acted like she was being bothered. I told her I had set up an account with them almost a year ago and there should be information there. She said she would look and went into the other room (which could clearly be seen) and she stood by the wall, not even bothering to try to find it. She then said well I cant do it for you and maybe you should not have Do not Duplicate on your keys. WOW!! The place is unorganized, cluttered and a mess. I only went there as it was closer. Will never go again. I then went to Bill's Locksmith who quickly looked up our account info on their computer and had the keys made in 3 minutes. What a big difference!!! I made an appointment for the company I work for because we are moving offices and the woman that answered the phone was not professional at all but I made the appointment anyway. I had to call back a couple days later to re-schedule and her phone etiquette was atrocious! She put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back and someone else answered but I told them to just cancel our appointment due to the horrible customer service by the last person and I would call someone else! This is the best locksmith that I have been to in this state. I have tried about half a dozen other locksmiths in King County but were very unhappy with them. Their fees are very reasonable and they are very competent in what they do. I have used them to copy multiple keys for my home and my office and also remote keys for my vehicle which were significantly cheaper than the car dealers. I have never had to take them back for re-keying. This is the only locksmith that I use. read more
