I found White Lace bridal while browsing Yelp. After reading that they had a good selection I gave this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the store is and how amazing their dress selection was. I easily found a few dresses I loved but took a day before rushing back and purchasing the dress I fell in love with. The staff member that helped me find my dress was so welcoming which made me feel so good after having been rushed off the phone by another staff member because they were to busy to answer my question about dress colors prior to me purchasing my gown. I understand being busy but that did make me feel a bit off knowing I was purchasing with them. Even though I only had that one issue during the purchasing process I'd still recommend any bride to try this place out! They have a great selection of gorgeous dresses you'll be sure to find the perfect one for you! Alterations were a bit of an issue. I scheduled probably too far in advance the first time and the seamstress reassured me to come closer to my wedding date. After my first fitting I left super excited to pick up my dress the following week. I arrived to pick up my dress but was shocked to see that not everything was completed and I had to wait longer in order for them to fix the issues. Overall they did have the work done that day I just had to wait longer than I had expected. My dress came out beautiful but wish I didn't have to deal with that stress being so close to my actual wedding day. read more

went in to look at wedding dresses last year. I had an appointment and there was no one else in the shop. We were a few minutes early and was greeted with a fake smile and a tone that screamed "What are you doing here?" We were not helped with dresses at all and the associates were whispering things under their breaths about us the entire time. Once we picked out a few dresses I was shown to a dressing room comparable to a curtained closet in a dark corner: you could see just fine in the room but the moment you stepped out it was dark. I was then given dirty looks when I stepped out to look in the big mirrors and show my sisters and we were then informed there was a no picture policy which would not do as my MOH lives in another state. After trying on my 1st dress, a family came in for a fitting of a quince dress. They were greeted as family and taken to a larger, better lit dressing room. It was at this point that the sales associates only interacted with me to see if I was DONE trying on dresses every 5 minutes and my sisters had to help me with the dresses. Looking at dress 2 in the big mirrors was worse as now I had the sales associates and the family giving me dirty looks. I don't remember how many dresses I tried on after that because dress 3 I didn't have the confidence to leave that dark corner to look in the big mirrors. What I do remember is we left with probably 20 minutes left in my appointment, were not addressed again for even a "have a nice day", and I felt so relieved to be out of this shop. read more

If I could give them 0 I would. I have never left a bad review on anything before. But this was super uncomfortable. New to the "wedding dress" shopping experience and this lady was super rude. Told me to "look around" and she would let me try on some. She was annoyed the whole time and obviously not in the mood to help me find a dress. I understand the no picture policy, each establishment can set their own policies but she could've definitely approached it better. Anyway, I won't be at all be going back here. Had a great experience this past weekend! I already had tried on many dresses throughout El Paso with no luck. Decided to try White Lace randomly. I didn't have an appointment, but I called to see if I could come by to try on dresses anyway. The woman who answered the phone said absolutely. The two bridal consultants who helped me were so nice and did not pressure me--which I appreciated. We picked out some great dresses and they advised me on what pieces would work best, but the very last one I tried on for the entire day ended up being the one. I actually cried because of how beautiful I felt. I decided to sleep on it to make sure I still loved it when I woke up. Well, I went back to try on the dress one more time. I got the dress and love it so much! I can't wait to get it in the fall. I'd recommend this boutique to any El Paso local. Truly a hidden gem. read more

White lace has a beautiful selection of bridal gowns. I found my wedding dress here and it is not as I expected my wedding dress to be, but the sales associate suggested me to try it on and I loved it! The owner is very kind and super helpful. I was very nervous about not getting my dress on time (I get nervous about everything) and he helped me to get my dress to arrive in less than one month! The dress fits perfectly and I am thinking of going back to the store to get my veil and other accessories. I recommend the store a lot, if you have questions or are unsure about when your dress will arrive etc, just talk to them and they will be more than happy to assist you. read more

This is the first shop I visited, everyone was so nice they listened to what i was looking for and they helped me find the perfect dress. I did go shop around but ended up coming back to this shop. I called 15 minutes before they closed and they stayed late so I could try on my dress one more time just to be sure, they didn't rush me or my family out even though it was after hours. Not sure why there are bad reviews because everyone was amazing! Alex was great and considerate, not pushy at all. Gabi helped me find my dream dress and gave me space and privacy when changing, she even helped me get into heels! At other bridal salons they stayed in the changing room with me, and basically rushed me into and out of dresses, they'd pull them off you and i had no time to even cover up. Stay away from this place! The owner is extremely rude, cold, and unethical as stated in the previous review. I was measured by the staff to find the correct sizing for the dress. I tried on my dress in my size to make sure it fit perfect before I ordered it which in fact it did. However, after the order was placed and months passed by, I went to pick up my dress and found out that the dress did not fit at all. The back was extremely tight causing back cleavage. The chest part of the dress was extremely and oddly loose to the point where my breast were falling out. The sales associate measured me again at the store and said I have lost 1" on my chest, waist, and hips. Now, logically speaking the back should not be so tight, it should be lose instead which was not the case. The chest area should be slightly loose and not as loose as it was. Additionally, the lace all over my dress was loose and popping off. I spoke to the owner about the issue and he said that's the beauty of the dress because it was hand sewn. How can that be beauty if it's not even sewn on correctly? There had to be some mistake with the manufacturer. Even the sales associate told me after I left the store the 1st time that she told the owner that the lace looked bad. I told the store owner that I would still like the dress but not this one since there's obviously something wrong with it. He told me that the industrial machines are perfect and never make mistakes. Well, people aren't perfect and they operate the machines. Sometimes there are bad batches. All I wanted was for him to return this dress to the manufacturer and order another one. He told me NO. Then I told him that I want my deposit back and he responded with NO again. I gave them the chance to fix the lace, front, and back. They only did the back and lace. The back looked good and at the moment so did the lace. I brought the dress home and noticed they had GLUED certain parts of the lace down! Who does that to a wedding dress!? I later took my dress to my seamstress to fix the chest area and was charged $400 to fix it the chest area due to the fact that the dress was so badly cut. Without me saying a word, she said the pattern is extremely off for that size and style of dress. She has never seen a wedding dress be so loose on the top in all the 20+ years of being a seamstress. I don't want any bride to go through the nightmare I've through with my dress. The owner is unapologetic, cold, and should not be in the bridal business. Stay away and don't go through the nightmare that I am living in today. read more

Unethical owner- This review is written by an extremely disgusted customer! White Lace was the first store I visited when shopping for my wedding dress. I am a decisive person who typically decides/ buys at their first decision. But I had no idea that deciding to go with a dress I liked would have turned into such a disaster. I should have seen the signs from the beginning as a bad signal. First, the sales lady who helped us was very pushy (by "us" I am referring to my sister and I because we happened to both be shopping for wedding dresses at the same time). Our sales rep was unhelpful, she literately told us that every dress we tried on was perfect, and the more expensive the dress was, the more perfect it was to her. After trying on 6 dresses I made up my mind, bought a wedding dress from White Lace and paid in full amount (~$1,600 USD). My sister, however, decided to hold off and look at other options/stores in order to make a comfortable decision. In an attempt to pressure my sister into making a purchase at White Lace as well, our sales rep and the store owner of White Lace, offered each of us a $50 discount for making a referral and they said my sister and I can use each other as the referral to get the discount. They then pressured my sister into making a refundable deposit on one of the dresses she tried on- the rep told her, "we know you won't find nicer dresses anywhere else in El Paso!" We visited Ella Blu next and my sister ended up finding her wedding dress there instead. Now looking back at my whole experience, I really wish I had gotten my dress from Ella Blu as well because the staffs there were patient, genuine, and we never once felt that they were being pushy or pressuring us into making a purchase. Since the two stores are down the street from each other, we returned to White Lace to collect my sister's refundable deposit. Since we were back there again, I decided to double check the details of my dress with the owner, especially in regards to the delivery date. He assured me that since I had paid the dress in full it would be delivered to me by May 22. May 22 has since come and gone and I still have not received my dress. I even called the store on May 20th just to make sure everything was still on track for a timely delivery but instead the owner of White Lace told me that there was likely going to be a 2-week delay. He did not provide me with a reason as to why my dress would be arriving later than expected and no explanation of why I had not been contacted sooner to be made aware of the delay. Due to the delay, I have had to push back my appointment with the seamstress and I have been under a lot of stress out of fear that I won't have enough time to get my alterations done. The White Lace store owner showed no sympathy nor was he apologetic about the delay. Instead he began harassing me for $50 and said that I have to pay the store back the $50 I was given as a discount. The discount that They offered, the discount I Did Not even ask for, A discount of $50 even though I paid $1,600USD up front in full! I was disgusted by the way he was talking to me and demeaning the $50. At the end of our call the White Lace owner said he would contact the dress manufacturing company and get back to me with an update on when exactly my dress would be delivered. An entire week went by and I hadn't heard any updates from the store owner nor had I received a follow-up phone call or email with the new status. I ended up calling him again and the second time he assured me he would call the dress manufacturer right away this time and would get back to me with an exact delivery date. When he called back he told me the dress would be delivered within 6 business days. Immediately after, he began harassing me again about the $50 since my sister did not purchase her dress from their store. He demanded $50 even though they had not delivered my dress on time, they neglected to follow-up with me on several occasions, they failed to provide me with a reason for the delay, they never apologized or took responsibility for the delay of my dress yet the store owner has the audacity threaten cancellation of the order of my Wedding Dress after I paid ~$1600 all for $50. This has got to be the lowest of the lows in customer service. I would not recommend anyone who expects professionalism, curtsy, timeliness or follow-through to do business with White Lace. read more

I went to many many bridal stores throughout my wedding dress search and ll I can say is THANK YOU to White Lace Bridal!!! This Boutique is a Gem in EL Paso. The staff was really friendly and patient with me, helping me find my style; made me feel really comfortable. I never felt pushed to make a purchase on my first visit. They have nothing but beautiful gowns, but I was happy to find many price ranges without losing the beauty of a wedding gown. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for their gown. And the owner was such a sweetheart, made sure I was absolutely happy with everything about my dress, veil, and alterations till the very end. This place offered the worst customer service I have ever experienced. One of the two so called bridal experts was incredibly rude. We walked into an empty store and received no help even with an appointment. I had to ask if I need to pull my own choices down or if they would do their job and take them down for me. My mom and sister tried asking the rude lady questions and she rolled her eyes at them and made us all feel uncomfortable. They had asked her what kind of lace was on a particular dress and she told them " I dont know, lace". In addition they won't allow you to take pictures! Never heard of such a thing! I never leave reviews and would leave no stars if allowed, but I felt this was a necessary review to leave! Brides beware, if you would like a wonderful experience with people that make you feel good about yourself skip this place and go to Ella Blu! Hi Yelpers!!! So I don't know why this boutique has such negative reviews. This was the first store I walked into when I was looking for a dress, and I must say the staff was attentive, friendly, and gave you your space. I did not find them to be at all pushy. Like most brides I wanted to shop around but honestly this place has the prettiest and most unique dresses in all of El Paso! So I came back after looking around for the first dress I loved! The owner Alex was wonderful and very professional. My dress was ordered and it arrived promptly. I took a while to go pick it up and by a while I mean 4 weeks before the wedding oops.... My dress unfortunately did not fit, obviously weightlifting right before your wedding is a bad idea ladies! Lol luckily the display dress almost fit. The ladies quickly offered to steam clean the dress. Considering it was my fault because I waited so long I didn't get upset and we didn't want to risk not getting a new dress on time. The very next day Alex called me and he offered to over night a new dress in my size. Four days later my dress arrived and everything was perfect. Don't let the bad reviews fool you the owner Alex will go above and beyond to make his brides happy. I highly recommend this bridal boutique you will not be disappointed! White Lace Boutique was the perfect place for me to buy my wedding dress and accessories. Not only did the Boutique contain amazing dresses and products their customer service was honest, professional, and accommodating. After my wedding, White Lace Boutique offered me to have my dress preserved and the whole process was completed easily. Two years later, unfortunately my storage unit was Burglarized, however my preservation box enclosed with my wedding dress and accessories were not taken, THANK GOODNESS! I could not find my shoes and could not remember if the shoes were added into the preservation box. I contacted White Lace Boutique, Alex and Maya both assisted me in figuring out what was enclosed in my preservation box. Sure enough my shoes were in the box! Alex even remembered me and my family from two years ago. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, assistance, and overall customer service White Lace has offered to me before, during, and after my wedding.
