DO NOT take your car here !! Unfortunately this business lacks value and integrity and took it upon themselves to charge my elderly mother 2000 dollars to "fix" her car . Not only did they use TAPE to "fix" it but when I took it back up there they DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO FIX IT . Towed my car here after overheating. I paid $1700 for their work on it. About 30 minutes after picking it up, it started overheating. I tried to compromise with them for a partial refund but they didn't care. My experience was a bad one. I wouldn't recommend this shop. read more

So I took my car to get it checked out. They asked me if I wanted to wait or i would be back later. I told them I would come back later and left my cell number. I called about 10 minutes before they closed because I had not heard back. They told me they usually stay open later and would give me a call back. Two hours later I called back and the shop didn't answer. I had my friend drive me to the shop and they were closed. I called and left a voicemail for them to call me in the morning. I never got a call back. I called them about an hour or two after they had opened the next day and asked if they knew what was wrong with my car and why they didn't tell me they were keeping it overnight. They told me they needed to order a part and if I gave permission the car would be ready in an hour. I gave permission and called an hour later. They told me again that they needed permission to order the part. I told them I gave permission earlier and thought my car would be ready. My car ended up being ready the next day very late. They didn't apologize for keeping my car and not telling me. I will not return here. read more

This is an example of a great family small business. I met the owners sons who help run the business band their grandfather who also take part in the business. They were friendly and talkative even took me into the shop area to show me the defective part that they replaced. They even gave me a break in the diagnostic since I used them for the repair. This is going to be a long review, so for those of you who just want the general information here it is: My car was fixed but I won't go back! For those who would like the details here you go. I needed to have my AC worked on because it had quit blowing cold air. After waiting an hour they informed me there was a hose that needed to be replaced. I told the guy I'd be back tomorrow and we agreed on a price for the work. I returned the next day, went in and let them know I was here to drop off my car for an AC hose repair that had been found yesterday. The guy at the counter was unable to located my work order, gave me another to fill out another and asked if I had been given a price. I said yes and left my keys. I thought it was strange at this point that the form from the previous day wasn't around but, I don't work there and I don't know their system. I asked if he knew about how long it would take, he said about 3 hours. I thanked him and went about my day. Fast forward to 11 am. I have heard nothing at this point from the shop, so I make my first call of the day to them to find out the status of the vehicle.At this point, I was told it was taking a little longer than expected and it was going to be a couple more hours, which now puts us at 1 o'clock for the car to be ready. At this point, I'm not upset at all, because I am a reasonable person and I understand that sometimes things come up and neither I, or the business, have any control over. 130p-Again, I have heard nothing from the shop, so I call them. This time I am told it's going to be another 2 hours before the car is done. Please note, at this point no one from the shop has mentioned any other issues to me about the condition of my car. 330 pm- 4 hours later than I had originally planned to not have my car. I have heard NOTHING from the shop. Now I am mad. I call and they say it should be ready by 4. I arrive at the shop at 4 o'clock and attempt to pay what I owe to the shop. I am actually charged 3 times because of a miscommunication regarding the price. These were reversed later. As soon as I pull out of the parking lot there is an alarming and LOUD clunking sound. I return to the shop, asked to pop the hood and at this point I am informed that I have a broken motor mount. They knew about this and didn't tell me. This pisses me off even more. Bill realizes that this wasn't handled in the best way possible and does the right thing by getting on the phone, finding my part and agreeing to stay to fix it until it gets there. The motor mount was replaced at no cost to me and let me say, so there is no confusion, I don't believe they broke the motor mount. I do believe that the work they did caused it to shift so that it was no longer functioning. So no, it wasn't their fault it broke, and as "Junior" eagerly pointed out, they were under no legal obligation to fix it. Oh and "Junior" next time someone has a broken motor mount, let them decide if they want to fix it. Don't assume they are, as you said, part of the "90% of people [you] call say don't fix it." read more

Update to my last review: Well, Steven couldn't quite get it done today. He put in a used Cruise Control Unit (I provided) and it looked like it was going to work, until the cruise gave up altogether. Having said that, Steven is determined to get this bugaboo running and I'll be taking my Geo back again next week. In the meantime, he replaced all the trim that I removed before I took her in - perfectly. PLUS (and I wish I could post photos here) he took some kind of restorer (Armor All perhaps) and completely re-did my dash. The dash on this car hasn't looked this good since the day I bought her. This was totally unexpected, and I'm blown away over it. Yelp needs to improve their frames so I can put up pictures! read more

I found out about this repair shop after spending 2000 at another shop, without resolution to a problem my VW Beetle is having with the battery staying charged. Junior, the owner's son, was empathetic and very personable when I called in tears. I was impressed with his knowledge and dialect regarding auto repair. He explained things without insinuating I was ignorant to auto repair, which a lot of mechanics do. When they couldn't find the source for the battery sucking leech in my car, he referred me to the dealer simply because they have a larger inventory of parts and equipment to test and find the specific cause more quickly. Instead of charging me, he refused to take payment. The last shop, which we had paid 500 to replace the alternator, wanted to charge us 400 more to find our why it still wasnt charged. They could have made up a repair, charged me 1000 and then have it still not run right. But, they were honest, with integrity and I find that endearing in this world full of scam artists and people who only care about money. Junior said to come back anytime, and if they can repair a problem, they will, if not, they aren't so egotistical that they will pretend to fix it, and have you leave and break down. Corrected my A/C problem for the summer, but Didn't correct my A/C problem for good, went back by end of summer last yr when A/C started blowing hot air again.. Gave me the run around and discouraged me to say forget it, I'll go some where else.. If I could give zero stars, I would! This place has terrible customer service. I came here about 3 weeks ago and the service was awful. They had a family meeting in the waiting room and completely disregarded I was there. Gave me no customer service at all and continued with their family discussion. I walked in knowing exactly what I needed and I told them what I've already done to the car and they still did exactly what I had already done to the car and charged me $68 to just look at it... Unbelievable! I went back two weeks later having the exact same problem. A lady walked in and sat down and the guy at the counter, which seems to be the owner or manager, never acknowledged her. He's too busy talking to a friend of his, or partner of another shop because they're talking about business. The lady sat and waited patiently a good five minutes and finally got up and said she'd be back later, that all she needed was an appointment for next week and the owner/manager just told her to come back whenever she wanted. It's been two weeks since my last visit and it seems like he really found and fixed the problem this time with my AC. Either way, I will not be going to this place ever again. read more
