I had a small tattoo done on the side of my wrist by Daniel about two weeks ago. Most of the negative reviews from people who went here for tattoos seem to stem from the fact that they were unaware that you need to make an appointment in person with a cash deposit. I had gone to their website ahead of time, so I was aware of this and wasn't bothered by it. I was pretty nervous, but Daniel did a good job of calming my nerves. There were two different people working the front desk when I went in to make the appointment and to get the tattoo, and both were very friendly and welcoming. I had a picture of what I wanted, and Daniel knew right away how to tweak it to make it look best on me. He took his time designing it and making sure the stencil and placement were perfect. I appreciated that he didn't rush through it, especially since it was a small and simple tattoo. I'm extremely happy with it, and it was just what I wanted. After less than pleasant experiences with my first couple of tattoos elsewhere​ I was pretty much turned off of getting tattooed for a long time, but Van changed all of that! I followed Van here from another shop and I would hands down follow him again. He has made being tattooed such a wonderful experience. I had a tattoo done at the North Location (Lafayette, CO) by Nathan Adsit on my left forearm. Prior to doing the tattoo Nathan went over several options and gave me the pros and cons of each. I went with his recommendation and after seeing the final product, I am glad I did. I have had multiple tattoos done in the past and I have to honestly say that Nathan and his newer style machine performed flawlessly! Had my nose pierced here with Jimmy today as a walk-in. I had wanted a nose hoop, but given that I work in a conservative field, he recommended that I go with a stud and then switch to a hoop after the healing is done in 4 months (since you shouldn't change the piercing within that time frame for optimal healing and I wasn't sure how traditional my new workplace will be). This was my second time having my nose pierced (the first time was several years ago), and this experience was much better than my first. Jimmy was friendly and made me feel comfortable. He gave me his honest input on each step of the process, including placement and jewelry selection. He didn't rush any part of the process or his answers to my questions (of which there were many), which I really appreciated. He opened everything sterile in front of me so that I could be certain a clean job was being done. The process was efficient and he also gave concise, clear instructions for after-care. He also guarantees his jewelry for life, so if it ever tarnishes you can return it to the store for an exchange. And in the end, the placement and jewelry looked great and the price was very reasonable. It seems like Jimmy really cares about the work he does. Holy fuck I would give this place negative stars if I could. DO NOT GO TO THIS TATTOO SHOP. I can't even remember the asshole of an artist who tattooed me but it was my first tattoo EVER, I was 18 & non confrontational. I remember calling to ask if my friend could be with me since COVID had just became a thing & the artist & front desk man were talking badly about me feet away. When it came to the tattoo... his work was FOUL!! 2 years later & I regret it every single time I look. He was heavy handed & it makes me wonder if he purposefully did a shit job because I had unintentionally annoyed him. I'm looking to get it lasered off now. Line work was despicable. Went SUPER dark didn't even try to give me any good advice, it's like he was looking forward to screwing up my leg. Can't believe I even tipped him $20 or $40 because I felt I was obligated. My mom, sister, and I all got matching helix/cartilage peircings from James, who is fantastic! He artfully surveys the body and peirces your anatomy in the most tasteful way. He is super steady and it didn't hurt as badly as my conch or my industrial. I was nervous at first but after he put the earring in, I was so pleased that if he hadn't had an appointment after ours, I would have gotten my other peircings done! It also ended up getting super infected( I probably shouldn't have gone camping) so I went in to see James and he totally squeezed me in and got the jewelery changed out. It's healing beautifully now and I will be going back for more! Piercing by James! Me and my sister made appointments to get our ears pierced today. For me I had piercings (my mom had done when I was younger) that were closed up I figured I would just need them re-pierced, luckily James let me know he had a tool that would just reopen my previous piercings! This made me happy because I was sentimental that my mom had pierced them. He was very calm and professional. When he did my sisters actual lobe piercing she felt no pain and he took the time to measure out the holes to be even and let her approve of the placement before going forward. He also took in consideration how big she usually wears her studs so that they weren't too close together. All in all I feel the prices were very fair and I'm very happy about my whole experience. Also- my sis informed me it was customary to tip piercing and tattoo artists. Which I didn't know so I made sure to tip. I feel like maybe more ppl should know that ;) The only thing I would say is we made appointments for 4:00 but there was a little bit of a wait. A woman was before us. But it didn't effect us having a good time and I got to eat a free jolly rancher lol. read more

My friend had gotten her son's footprint tattooed onto her by Rick at White Lotus and he did an amazing job. Footprints can be totally botched so after I saw her tattoo, I was confident I wanted to get my tattoo here. This was my first tattoo. I decided to get my daughter's birth date in Roman numerals on my wrist. To say I was nervous was an understatement. Rick did the same tattoo on another friend and hers was amazing. When it was my turn, he was very nice and calming. He talked me through the entire thing and helped me relax. It definitely hurt but I was able to get through it and my tattoo looks amazing. My 18 year old daughter went there last week to get her earlobes pierced. There was no up front discussion of the cost for the piercing (she already looked it up online) or the earrings she picked out. When paying, she questioned the guy because she thought $108 was pretty extreme. When home, we saw she was actually changed $180! And, when she called to better understand the charge, the guy wasn't able to provide an explanation that equates to the $180 charged. The website says $40 for earlobe piercing, but the guy over the phone told her it was $35 PER EAR. I'd love to hear from the owner - this is a pretty shady circumstance. read more

Never in my life have I ever Yelped a business but I think this is very much needed. I had a triple helix piercing done at the beginning of March -- paid $180. Rings were put on wayyyyy too tight and my ENTIRE ear within a couple of days was swollen, red and angry as the jewelry cut into my skin. Went back to get it remedied. Had to pay an additional $160 to get the hoops taken out and studs put in. Piercer told me to come back once the swelling went down to get them shortened. Went in today to get them shortened and they're trying to get more money out of me for shorter posts. Are you kidding me? Is this real life?! I highly recommend going somewhere else for any piercings as they clearly only give a crap about your money instead of any sort of customer satisfaction. read more

I've been here twice asking for quotes on a specific tattoo, and both times they were extremely rude. One guy told me he wouldn't even talk to me about the art work without a $100 deposit! I said "the tattoo is small, it probably won't even be $100." He said "Nope, no tattoo that we do here is less than $250." I said "What? Are you serious?" He said "There's the door. I wouldn't even tattoo you because you don't think good art is worth that." I was shocked and taken aback. I went somewhere else, got my beautiful tattoo for $70. This isn't the first time they've been rude and arrogant. Guess what White Lotus, there are MANY MANY other tattoo artists that are Wayyyy Better than you without the attitude, arrogance and high price tag. I came here for a lip piercing a while back. And it has been the best piercing experience I've ever had. At this particular time, I was getting a lip piercing (side labret). Brian was very professional and he was very patient. It was my first non-ear piercing and it went great. Brian made my piercing experience as painless as possible. I have no complaints (okay maybe the distance it is from north Denver to Highlands Ranch) about White Lotus. There are hundreds of tattoo shops in the Denver metro area, and probably only a handful of them are actually amazing, reputable, clean and an awesome experience. White Lotus is one of those places. It's is impeccably clean and the atmosphere is perfect. Some tattoo places are busy, and by busy I mean the walls are bright, there is flash tattoos everywhere, checkered floors - a seizure waiting to happen. Not White Lotus.....it is comfortable, serene and the guys there are nice to look at (hey, I'm a girl and I'm not going to lie). The have a great selection of jewelry for piercings (big and small). They are also super helpful! Okay, I've been going to Andy there for awhile now, and he's amazing. I would trust him with all my limbs to ink on permanent, colorful tattoos, any day. He rocks! I'm not a flash tattoo kinda gal. I've always emailed him pictures of things I want and then I've left him to his own devices to create, and I'm never disappointed. Getting a tattoo hurts, yes HURTS, but I'd rather sit and chat with him in pain then get some tattoo at a shady shop where I risk getting Hepatitis C - just to save some extra $$. You get what you pay for folks. Make the drive to suburbia. This little gem of a place is tucked away right off County Line Road. After waiting for over an hour to get my daughter's nose pierced, the girl informed me that my daughter (15 years old) needed identification proving that I was her mother or a passport with her identification on it. My husband took her back with her birth certificate and the girl told him she also needed a school ID card or her passport. That is NOT what the girl told me when I left. I highly recommend staying away from this location! While we were waiting the first time around, the girl repeatedly told people to go to their other location. I have never ran a tattoo place but it seems to me if you stayed off the internet and actually worked through the waiting customers, you wouldn't have to divert people to the other location. read more
