We attempted again to secure the space hoping to speak with the other owner but we ended up speaking with Dominique once again and he was ruder than he was the first conversation. We also had a negative experience with the venue workers on the day of who were not hospitable and rushed out the mother of the bride while she was graciously cleaning up the wedding parties bags. Bags which had been removed from the cottage by the workers right before the ceremony despite being told we could use that space all day.

The day of the wedding, it seemed that the staff only wanted us gone. They were cleaning up the rooms before the wedding was over. The lead coordinator of the day had our caterer in tears because they told her that I would be docked money due to her not cleaning the kitchen right. As it turned out we did get the entire security deposit back but if I had to do it over, and based on what I know now, I would not contract with them.
