Isabelle explained the chef does some sort of magic with the cheese. Wow! Several of us ordered the Rockfish entree which was described as being pan prepared and encrusted with blue and yellow corn. It came with saffron rice, asparagus and tomatillo relish. I don't even know what words can do this dish justice other than a simple, "OMG!" I received no assistance from the hotel staff, was told there were no other rooms available and that I needed to speak with the General Manager the next day concerning the matter. I told the woman Vickie that I would be checking out since an immediate resolution was unavailable to me. I also asked for a refund for my room to be processed. She told me I needed to speak with Expedia about a refund and insisted that I speak with the General Manager the next day, and told me she'd be in at 9am. I visited the the property the next day around 10am. The person at the front desk identified herself as the "Floor Manager", gave me Kathy Hoffman's business card, and also told me there was nothing she could do and that the General Manager wouldn't be in until Wednesday but that I should email her and also send a copy of the picture I had taken! This infuriated me having to wait until Wednesday to have this issue resolved. I emailed the General Manager on Sunday, September 12, 2026 with my formal complaint of having found a cockroach in my hotel room along with the picture. Monday morning at approximately 9:53 am I received an email from the General Manger claiming she was investigating the issue BUT, the "flooring" in the picture I had taken was not the color or the pattern of any of the flooring in their hotel rooms. I kindly replied that the picture was NOT of any flooring but of the DESK I found the cockroach on. The General Manager then responded by insisting that the furniture and again "flooring" in the picture was not like any in their hotel rooms! I then emailed her screenshots of the metadata from the picture I took which had the time the picture was taken, along with the GPS location of where the picture was taken. I don't appreciate spending $276 for a hotel just to find a roach, bring it to the hotel's attention and THEN basically be accused of falsely claiming so! Kathy Hoffman (General Manager) never offered an apology for me finding a roach in the hotel room or even an apology for the inconvenience I had been caused. There was no accountability whatsoever, from any of the hotel staff! This was the worse customer service I have EVER received from not only the hotel staff but, the General Manager as well! I told the employees I don't smoke cannabis or even vape. The employee insisted and joked about it. And persisted that I sit in the back because he was going to smoke weed. At a rest stop before getting to our location and before he could actually smoke the weed, I reported it to Steven, the manager, who insisted that it is going to become legal soon in the state of Delaware, where recreational cannabis without limitation is legal. But insisted his drivers were not going to smoke weed. They told me they were, so I told him what they said. he spinned a little bit and went around the question and tried to questioned whether i wanted the job or not, some shit out of training day. When I tried to explain to him more that I did not want to ride with the weed smokers, he drove off and left me there with them. I told them I was not getting in, I walked back to the job, picked up my bike, and quit. Don't need a low-standard employer who does not screen their employees for criminal activity or excessive recreational drug use. I'm better than that.

What made this one extra special and above expectations is Jamie. She is awesome! Not only does she show you how it's done, but her excitement and enthusiasm keeps the adrenaline flowing. The person that checked us in was not so personable or friendly but probably because she was stuck behind the bar/counter the whole evening. Bummer for her and we looked beyond that. But once we got in and got throwing those axes, we all had a good time! I was just a third wheel gentleman at a bachelorette party but the young ladies still made me feel like part of the festivities, which was nice. Great fun!
