This venue has a lot to work on. They need to seriously invest in a better HVAC system because it was torturously hot. People were dropping like flies so badly that they had to pass out free water. Even when we first arrived and the house wasn't packed, it was hot. It only got worse. No fans or circulation. When an artist has to stop in the middle of songs to check on the crowd and alert crew members that people are passing out, maybe that venue should invest in proper infrastructure. The bathrooms were dirty, half the sinks didn't come on and most of the stalls were out of toilet paper. The acoustics were nothing to write home about, so that's way too many strikes for me. If you want to enjoy your favorite artist, I would suggest a different venue because this place feels like a primitive prisoner encampment. Negligent and unacceptable for any venue in 2026 to be this hot and stagnant, post-Covid.

Honestly this is a well kept venue, staff was very nice and the sound for the concert was A++. The bathrooms were very clean and overall the atmosphere and the crowd were great!

Great views from all sides in GA. I was all the way in the back by the bar which has a lot of drink options. And my view was still 10/10. I got parking in lot B and prepaid. All I had to do was scan my ticket and had parking minutes from the front of the venue. I got through security quickly and immediately was able to see the artist. I come quite a bit and prices are always affordable. I recommend buying tickets in advance and go ahead and pre purchase a parking ticket for one of their lots!

I frequent here for concerts and always have a smooth experience. They have a parking lot located next to the venue, check in was seamless and the showtime schedule listed matched to when the artists performed. I love this venue for more intimate shows. Bar service is always friendly and the drinks are not overpriced.

I have to say its the small venues that pack the biggest punch!! Yes, it's small. It can get packed up real quick so I highly recommend you get in line real early. Even if you don't, there is a bar right next door. The crowd and atmosphere was just right for the kinda night and good time we wanted. Plenty of food and coffee trucks you could ask for. Drinks may be alil pricey but that's just how it is. The drink menu is pretty good so you will have options. Be sure to hydrate if you go during the summer.

I came to see an artist and there were two other performances at this venue for the same time. Inside the venue, it feels like there's no AC so we are all sweating. One girl vomited and had a panic attack. I will say it's good that the venue started handing out ice water but it's unacceptable how hot this venue is. It's 77 degrees outside but feels way worse with all of us squished in her. Please do better with the air conditioning and making sure it's cool enough. We paid for a $5 water before they started handing it out for free.

The way the hall can be reconfigured makes it one of the better venues in this town. The only drawback is parking. It's better just to Uber.

AC. First aid response. Very unsafe. The venue lacked to provide an adequate safe environment.

The venue inside is cool, but attending a sold out show with seemingly no AC (in August) is unacceptable.

Probably the best venue in Houston. Various rooms and an outdoor area. Parking sucks so I would recommend ubering.

Ask the Community - White Oak Music Hall

Do they cancel shows when it rains? Will they refund ticket if event is cancelled?

It depends on if your show is inside or out. They may move it inside. Any time I have had a show cancel there though they have refunded me.

Is the area around the amphitheater safe?

It seemed like it was. My son and I walked around there a good bit.

What is better balcony a or balcony be?

Seriously, they are both good areas.

    Is it air conditioned?

Yes, if you go to an indoor event. The outdoors venue is not. It's open air.

I'm planning on going to see Vampire Weekend perform on the lawn in August. Is it worth paying more to sit in the balcony?

It's more of a preference thing. Rather you prefer to be in the mix or sitting separately for the crowd.

Ambiance (3/5): Dan Electros is located in a residential neighborhood. They have a relatively small parking lot and it was completely full on a Wednesday. We ended up parking on the street a block or two away. Initially, I wasn't too impressed. Dan Electros has a gravel parking lot. Never a fan. It gets your car dirty and your shoes dirty. When you walk in though, you're entering a dive bar with some character. It's tough to describe what that is exactly but it's something you feel. Dan Electros hosts a lot of live music and they have a small dance floor. If you're into live music, as I am, this may be the spot for you. They also have a pool table which is always a plus in my book. Service (4/5): I ordered a drink at the bar. I was greeted promptly and received my drink promptly. When I later went back to the bar to close out, I was able to do so without much effort. Solid experience overall. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food as I had dinner prior, but I don't think they have food anyway. I'm not 100% though. Drinks (4/5): For a dive bar, Dan Electros has a cool menu with some interesting cocktails and a good beer list. Even at a dive bar, it's nice when you can order more than just beers and simple cocktails. With that said, I had a beer. When in Rome.

There is a cover charge of $10 for most of the performances but if you check out their website and the calendar, some of the shows are free also. The crowd is mixed but as would be expected with the genre of music, it's older - I would guess the average age of the crowd on the night I was there was 50-60 but they were getting down and having a good time so that's the important part! Parking kind of sucks here so I would suggest coming in early and if you find something in the parking lot or by the mechanic shop, back your car in because people will likely park behind you and it'll be pretty tight getting out later. There is also street parking around the neighborhoods but check the signs to make sure you don't need a permit.
