Need somewhere to catch up with your buddies? This place will do. It has a clean refurbished pub look on the inside and a spacious shaded patio on the outside. I really enjoyed the ambiance of this place above all else. There's enough personal space and the music doesn't play blaringly loud. The menu has typical American bar food to choose from. It's not anything out of the ordinary but still gets the job done. The fried chicken basket ($15) comes with a ton of food and will have no problem feeding one person at the very least. Parking may be a challenge depending on the time of day. I couldn't find an empty spot in the adjacent lot around 9pm on a Friday, but certain streets in the nearby residential areas allow for curbside parking. read more

Walking by I noticed a delicious looking burger. So I swung back later for a late lunch. Cool bar. Always busy. Service was ok. But the burger looked better than it tasted. Definitely your standard bar food level and nothing above and beyond. I ordered the 1/4 cheese burger and added bacon. The bacon could have been a little crispier, the pickles were awesome, and the beef patty was a little weak. I'd order the double patty instead for sure. This bar just opened and it was really a cute gem. There's and inside and cute patio and huge bar in the middle. Great for meeting up with friends and having a chill time! The people were very friendly. The food was amazing. Like the Buffalo cauliflower and artichoke were beyond bomb. The fries were perfect as well. The drink was very cute & very tasty. Came here for the first time on a Sunday morning around 11:30 AM. Mimosas - Standard mimosa. No strange aftertaste. Decent strength in alcohol content. Huevos Rancheros - Eggs were cooked perfectly - nice & runny yolk with whites cooked thoroughly. Tostadas were very crispy, but slightly overcooked & a touch burnt. Served with refried black beans spread over the tostadas, a generous, spread of salsa, and cotija cheese. Served with a side of rancheros sauce which tasted like salsa verde. Brunch potatoes - Lightly salted. Cooked nicely - crispy on the outside & soft, fluffy, & tender on the inside. Doesn't get soggy despite sitting on top of salsa. Would have liked more seasoning, but still good. Brunch Burger - Like biscuits & gravy, but on a burger. Flavor is good - very tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Habanero Margarita - actually uses a pretty good reposado tequila - Mi Compo. Very smooth & slightly spicy. Hot Mexican Chili Arbol Wings to go - Came with a hand sanitizing wipe. Medium crispy on the outside. Good flavor. Overall, we had a very nice experience. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Kinsley, was very nice, personable, & very knowledgeable of menu despite only being here for a month. The elote fritters we're something different on a bar menu but boy we're they good. (Not pictured) the chicken finger basket can be tossed in any of their wing sauces, I recommend getting them tossed in Buffalo sauce. What once was occupied by the Bar Stellar is now replaced by Spider Murphy's Pub. Comparatively, Spider Murphy's appears to use much more space, or utilizes the space to where it seems more open. My friend and I sat outside with Texas weather blessing us this fine evening. There was ample seating out and inside. Based on the food photos on Yelp alone, I couldn't resist! I only came for the drinks, but ended up ordering fajita steak nachos. They were delicious, covered in cheese! I probably took too long in between bites, so by the time I neared the end of the plate, the chips were a little soggy, but I certainly didn't mind due to the generous amounts of cheese. I ordered the espresso martini and blackberry mezcal sour. Both were great! I look forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu. read more

We were out on a walk and decided we could use a snack so we popped in. It happened to be happy hour (Tuesday - Friday until 7pm)!! Our waitress was bubbly and attentive. We ended up ordering too many appetizers because they were half off (how could you not try a bunch of different ones!). The chicken basket and fries were big enough for a meal! It came out steaming hot. We ended up ordering 2 because the chicken was so hot and juicy. I really enjoyed their homemade ranch too. The corn fritters were different but good. They could have used a little less breading; the first few bites were just breading and no corn. The spinach dip was the only real negative. It really just tasted like warm cream cheese and parmesan cheese. It did have some fried artichoke leaves on top but they didn't really add anything to the dish. Anyway, I'll definitely be back during happy hour for some more chicken tenders! read more

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday & it was cute, their patio is nice & seems like a fun spot for happy hour or day drinking. I ordered the habanero margarita but it didn't taste spicy at all and had that sweet & sour taste so I wouldn't order it again. I got the tex mex bowl and it was actually very good & huge! The sandwiches looked huge & the chicken sandwich had chicken strips on it and was very good... my friends split the tacos and they came with all the fixings and were also pretty good! read more

Came here for the USA vs CANADA game and the manager refused to turn on the sound of the game even though the patio was filled with USA hockey jerseys. This is just another wonderful addition to the Knox / Henderson area when you want to stop in for a quick beverage and/or bar eats with friends! I think the name of this spot has changed more than once but love the current vibes. It is a cozy spot that kind of reminds me an upscale dive/pub. You can sit at the bar but they also have tables and a cozy couch in the back to kick it. My friends ordered drinks and I tried out the espresso martini! Potent and served with love! I loved the nice touch on top. I would come back for the martini alone to be honest. Some patrons next to us ordered what looked like skillet nachos and they looked and smelled absolutely incredible. I must come back to try those as well! Overall this place really surprised me with how much I liked it, and I do love when that happens. Honestly loved this place way more than I expected. I came on Wednesday for their half priced cocktails and tried a variety of drinks. My favorite was the blackberry spider mule!! The elote fritters we're also to die for and super affordable on happy hour. The place isn't the most inviting as it's super dimly lit and partially outdoors but I would still recommend giving it a try. Pictured is the blackberry mezcal sour with an added tahin rim. REALLy wanted to like this place because we're big fans of the Skellig. But, service was painfully slow and our waitress was nice enough but very inattentive. We had to flag her down multiple times because she wasn't checking on us. The food was sub par and very disappointing. My husband didn't even finish his meal, it was so bad. The waitress didn't even bother to ask why his meal was hardly touched. My $14 salad was pretty bland, sparse, and small and the $4 up charge for three tiny, burnt chicken tenders was laughable.
