We came here after a long day spent playing outdoors in Squamish so our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We usualy go to Backcountry Brewing but wanted to have something different this time. I got the cripsy chicken sammy and my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger. We washed our giant burgers with some spiked drinks that were very filling in themselves. As the menu turned paper one (two side printed) and I felt the food variety might be less than before but I won't complain about it. The customer service was super nice. I feel their service standard is very high even chain restaurant. We, group of 4 just finished 19km hike and were super hungry. And it was good choice to be here having big portioned comfort food. This is a favourite spot for me and the food is consistently good. for the most part the service is excellent EXCEPT for 2 servers who show up to the table with great confidence and get the order completely wrong every single time. it's so disappointing. Now when I go I make sure I'm not in their section if they are working. sadly one of the people is a manger. this one makes you wait an eternity before coming to the table to botch your order. and another wait for the bill. the other one rushes to your table like she's on uppers and whizzes you in and out within an hour after getting the order completely wrong. i will continue to visit this location because of the great service from everyone else. but sadly i cannot take these two! read more

Took the kids to Canada for the first time and it was fun sitting down and having some poutine with hockey on the TV and a very friendly waitress saying eh. It's a down to earth place serving food that's better than IHOP or Dennys, but still chain diner food. Prices were very reasonable. If we're in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by again. read more

We dropped into White Spot in Squamish for a Sunday breakfast. The environment was cozy and warm and the server greeted us right away. Amber was very knowledgeable of vegetarian and vegan menu options. Some of our group ordered impossible burgers with avocado and salad or fries and I had the avocado queso bowl. I had lunch today at White Spot in Squamish. I ordered The Legendary burger and fries. The burger was okay ... it wasn't overly substantial, though. The fries, which are unlimited, were good ... I just had what came with my meal. I hadn't had breakfast and was still a bit hungry so ordered the Ultimate Chocolate Cake. It was pretty dry, which is good because if it had been awesome, I would have eaten it all. As it was, I just ate some of the cake and all of the ice cream and whipped cream. I have yet to receive crispy bacon anywhere up here, and this restaurant's "crispy bacon" was no exception, but at least their bacon seemed mostly cooked. The coleslaw is tasty. The kids pizza ("flatbread") and mac 'n cheese (which is not blue box/KD, just FYI - not to imply those would have been better!) weren't very good, but the chicken and grilled cheese were winners. I think this place is a chain, so it's kinda like an upscale IHOP with awesome food. Almost as good as Texas breakfast cafe. The only thing that makes me a little sad is the lack of white gravy, but not enough for White Spot to lose a star. The waffles are the bomb, the bacon is perfect, the hash brown is delectable. Good, solid meal. The legendary burger was good. My wife had the candied salmon salad and said it was delicious. My girls devoured their burgers so they must have been ok too. They exchanged the drink Ashlee originally asked for but didn't like, which was good. They did take quite awhile to refresh our coffee though. There was no paper towel in the mens bathroom either, so that was annoying. read more

We go up to Squamish at least a couple times per year, and we almost always stop in here for breakfast. The service is excellent, and the food is usually good... but this year was an exception. Stopped by to grab a meal on our way to Whistler. The waitress was a bit haughty but maybe she was just having a bad day so no big deal. She still served us ok. I ordered the vegetarian chilli and it was quit bland. I never get why White Spot serves pita bread all doughy. Like, can't they crisp it up a bit in the grill or something? It just seemed to me that this meal in particular wasn't made with care but rather just thrown on the plate. I'd bet the chef didn't even taste the food as he was cooking it. It really needed some salt or seasoning or something. I just packed it up and gave it to my dog who was in my truck. The place was dead. Only one other table with two customers so one would think more care would have been taken for the food. No reason to go back. It just didn't seem to me to measure up to the other White Spots. No service with a smile but instead a haughty attitude and poorly prepared food. My friend said his beer sampler was good though ;) read more

I usually visit here on the way to Whistler. It's located very conveniently with other shops like Nesters, Strabucks, Macdonalds, gas station. I love this restaurant because it has very nice mountain views with big windows and servers are very friendly. I feel most Vancouver restaurant servers are not really friendly, kinda snobby, and always rush. I ordered deep fried prawns and it came with plum sauce. It was really fresh and crunchy and size of prawns are really big. My friend ordered a bacon cheddar burger and salad. The burger was very fresh and juicy. We ordered fries as extra, they are very good. Most importantly restaurant is very clean and bathroom is spotless. Bathroom is like a fancy hotel bathroom. I am a regular there, all the time I enjoy the view with perfect music and very attentive servers. Most of all, my friend loves to watch sport games, there are a few big flat screen TVs. I was recommended the White Spot by a friend after seeing this location and asking him what it was. I have never heard White Spot before because I am a resident of Ontario vacationing in BC for the Olympics (I have since learned that they are a Western Canadian chain). Unfortunately, my first impression was not a good one. I have just eaten lunch at this location and I must say that the building itself is a great little place but I wish I could say the same about the food. I started with the Nobashi Prawns (which were recommended by the waitress - whose names escapes me now) and they came dripping with brown grease (I had expected them to be greasy due to the fact that they are deep fried but by no means old brown grease). I reckon this is from being from old and unchanged due to the 'endless' fries promotion that caught my eye while browsing the burger menu. If this wasn't enough to turn me off, I had ordered the Hot Chargrilled Chicken Caesar for my entree and the lettuce too came out brown! You've got to be kidding me! This must be a common theme at this particular location. I kind of wish I had now, but at the time I did not have the heart to bring this up to my waitress as I think it has more to do with the day to day operations of the restaurant rather than the wait staff. I can honestly say that after that meal I kicked myself for not going to the McDonald's across the street. I could have gotten a better quality meal for a fraction of the price. I cannot speak for any of the other franchise locations but after that experience I will by no means be hurrying back to that particular location nor any other. A customer with and uneasy stomach. It was the first day of our vacation and we arrived in Squamish around 1 and pulled over at the first sign of food. I remembered reading in my British Columbia guidebook that White Spot was a local chain and had we realized that there were more restaurants a few more blocks into town, we probably would have gone somewhere else for lunch. But in any case, chain or not, White Spot turned out to be a decent meal. We were seated over near the bar, so we had several screens to watch hockey. I ordered a Rustica flatbread which came with Caesar salad and my boyfriend ordered some sort of Mediterranean chicken burger. Both of our meals were good, but nothing too out of the ordinary (although I do remember being surprised how good the tzatziki was on his sandwich, since that's hard to do right).
