    The 'usual' breakfast
    Allen W.

Walking around town on a Sunday morning it was one of a few places open before 11am so we decided to give it a try for breakfast. Clean space and prompt service. Waitress wasn't too chatty but it was busy and they were quick to take our order and food came out pretty quick. The restaurant had a steady stream of people coming in but there always seemed to be a table available. I had the 'usual' - 2 eggs scrambled, multigrain toast, sausage, and potatoes. Also came with some melon and grapes. The potatoes are sliced thin and deep fried, and tasted of rosemary - they looked pale and lifeless ... but were pretty good. The sausages were plump and juicy (not the thin supermarket type). Overall, a very tasty breakfast (~$17). Coffee ($3+) was your typical brew - ok but a bit pricey for what it was. Waitress came around once to refill which was appreciated.

H and I came here for breakfast. It was a full house on a Sunday morning when we arrived. There are not a lot of breakfast places in the area. We had to wait a bit for a table. We were very lucky that someone was leaving. We sat down in the corner. We noticed that it was not easy to flag down a server. The restaurant is quite big when you compare it to other restaurants in the area. My friend and I each got the crab cake benedict $19. Portion size was a bit smaller compared to restaurant in Metro Vancouver. We noticed that the crab cake benedict didn't come with English muffin. This was somewhat strange for someone who loves egg benedict. The potatoes were not great at all. the fruits are just fruits (nothing special) We found the food mediocre and service was like a 2 stars here. Well, we are in a small town. Definitely can't expect too much. Prices are on the higher end given the quality, quantity and service here.

Stopped by during our way from Whistler. So glad I've picked this place! I chose "As Usual" option and happy that they have vegan option. I'm not a vegan, but bacon and sausage are not healthy option. So tomato and avocado is always a better choice. -1 star since girl mixed up our checks (which is fine) but it took her long time to come back with correct ones. Still will come back, hopefully during summer (if border would still open)

D was small but food was dank nugs and ive been pondering on the fact the chefs d aint that big

Good club sandwich and soup, but dry and flavourless beef dip. Decent service, but not exactly fast.

Excellent cup of latte and cappuccino. Truly one of the BEST brisket baguette and just I've ever had. They neither compromised on the quality or quantity. Everything was so flavourful, even the fries! I LOVeD every bite! Hubby ordered the fisherman's benedict. And since he's an expert in seafood (it's his career), he wasn't the biggest fan of the albacore tataki or the biscuit. He loves bennys but more of the traditional english muffin. But that's OK, the stars i'm giving is based on my food, which was incredible! Thank you for a beautiful experience, you guys are awesome and we will be back! Hubby said he'll order the baguette for next time!

It's rustic in that honest, country way: wood, warmth, and a smallish-town Squamish vibe that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. The location does half the work for the ambiance, the rest comes from the feeling that someone actually cares about feeding you well. This is home-cooked brunch with intention. Portions are generous without being sloppy, and every plate feels thought out, like it's been tested by real people who eat breakfast for a living. The pancakes are the headline act--huge, fluffy, unapologetic, and exactly what you want when you're leaning back in your chair wondering if you should order another coffee or surrender to a food coma. And if the night before got a little loose, the double Caesar is a public service: bracing, restorative, and delivered without judgment - oh my aching head. What really seals it, though, is the staff--genuinely welcoming, on their game, and clearly proud of the place. The Crabapple Café isn't trying to be trendy or precious. It's just very good at what it does. A must-try in Squamish, especially if you believe breakfast should be comforting, filling, and a little bit healing. This is not our first time, and definitely not our last. The cafe has become our way station before heading up to Whistler. CHEERS!!!

The menu has an Italian and Greek touch. They also have a full coffee menu, and I noticed the tea selection was especially impressive with quality brands. I got a green olive sandwich, which was an interesting combination of hummus, fig spread and fresh figs, olives, and arugula on a pita. I thought it worked surprisingly well! The overall flavour profile of the sandwich was savoury - the figs didn't stand out as sweet when combined with the other ingredients. I also got an iced tea (lapsang souchong - a tea that I really like but rarely see in tea shops) and what they called an "ugly but beautiful" cookie. I don't know what the type of cookie is actually called, but it seemed like a meringue-based biscotto with crunchy nuts inside. It was good - I liked the texture! I liked how they decorated the store, it had a homey vintage look. They were swamped when we visited but the staff was very pleasant nonetheless!
