Taryn was warm and welcoming, and I never felt rushed at all. The studio is bright and spacious. However, reserve online or come quickly, cause that studio filled up fast! There were students at different levels in the class, but Taryn gave moderations for the novices. Mats, blankets, straps, etc are all complimentary...and super clean!! Plus, on Monday I received a phone call asking if I had enjoyed my experience, which I could definitely confirm. It was gentle yoga, but had opportunities for people to stretch their bodies even further if they so wished without making the rest of us feel like we were falling behind. It had the perfect balance of flow and rest and made me really relaxed. For people who wanted even more, there was a meditation session at the end. The space itself is beautiful - from the sunny front room where you can peacefully wait for classes to begin (with its rotating art collection!) to the equipment (blankets, blocks, straps, etc.) that was all in really good shape. I'm definitely going back next time I'm home - you should check it out as well!

Power yoga is a beautiful and challenging fusion of isometric exercise, core strengthening and balance. The temperature in the studio is more manageable than a Bikram workout with all of the same benefits. It is the first yoga experience that didn't feel like a huge waste of time. After the first couple of weeks I saw definite results in my overall tone and body shape. The power yoga practice Jayne and York have introduced into the Bedford community is a showstopper! All of the instructors are kind and welcoming, each time I return I feel like I am home again. Big thumbs up!

I had a job that really took a toll on my muscles and I needed something I could access at odd hours of the day since my work hours were not consistent. I haphazardly started following along to one of the videos even though my intention was to just lay on the floor in the heat. needless to say, it was amazing. I'm not someone who regularly works out and I'm not even someone who likes the heat but I knew the infrared would be good for my tired muscles. Somehow, the infrared sauna makes it easier to move. And strangely, even though you're sweating, you feel so much cleaner afterward because your pores have just released everything! Make sure to drink lots of water so you don't pass out but I highly recommend this particular location. Everyone is so friendly but if you want to work out in private, like I did, the app is so useful in being able to see if anyone else is in the sauna you would like to book. There are even fun monthly challenges on little pamphlets you can fill out to help keep you motivated and going in on a regular basis. I really like that it's not weight oriented and more just about getting your body moving.

I usually only come here if I'm planning a trip to see my friends in Newburyport ;) Not sure how much the parking is; I park at a friend's house. Very calm beach ONLY THING IS, avoid going in the month of July, OR be very careful of the greenhead flies! They are everywhere here during that month & their bites hurt lol.
