If you're in Douglas and a fan of funky, cool old school bars, White Wolf is a must see. The proprietor/owner/bartender, Coach, is a great guy. Well worth a visit.

    Beautiful mural outside the bar!

Best little bar in Wyoming! Cash only but worth the stop. We stopped in for a quick beer on an afternoon and spent about 30 min chatting with the owner. He was super friendly and took time to highlight some of his interesting finds, share pictures of his beautiful dogs, and trade stories with us. They do not serve food other than some snacks but he suggested some local supper places. Love this place! Like others have mentioned, this is not your rowdy tavern. There's a few bar games available to play but mostly I'd say it's a nice place to sip a few beers and spend an afternoon chatting. Hands down this is my favorite place to grab a beer in the state!

This was a fun little experience for us... We love dive bars, so we were looking for a dive bar…read morewith good food. This hit the mark. The three-quarter pound burgers were giant and truly delicious as were their onion rings... Crispy and greasy - just the way I like them. Nice selection of local WY beers. We tried two of them. The place is dimly lit and not much to write home about, but that's what we expect from a dive: we loved it! If you are pretentious &/or woke, go away: this is NOT YOUR place. This is a down-home, locals hangout with the coolest local patrons and an hysterical bartender (she was awesome). In fact the day that we came, she was talking about a TikTok warning that the US was going to be bombed by Iran and the locals sitting at the bar were giving her a hella hard time about it - we sort of joined the comedy show as "table number six" (which is how the bartender referred to us throughout our visit) as we laughed along with them, giving this good natured bartender a hard time about the TikTok news; bantering back and forth about how much time we have left before Lusk was bombed . We left in a really good mood and we can't wait to go back - presuming the building is still standing (after we left to get out of Dodge before the 5 1/2 hour timeline before the bomb dropped. LMAO)! Definitely gonna be one of our stops every time we're in Lusk! 5-star dive bar experience!

They were friendly and courteous and checked on us frequently. I ordered the wedge salad and pretzel bites with beer cheese. The salad was great. It was fresh and the perfect size. The bleu cheese dressing was creamy and so delicious. The pretzel bits were as expected, and the cheese had good flavor, but was warm not hot. It was a little chunky, but I still ate it all. LOL! The in-laws ordered the nachos. They are not your traditional nachos. You get a choice of meat, brisket or pulled pork. They chose brisket. And you get to choose between fries or pork rinds and they chose pork rinds. They liked them. I didn't try them. They also liked the duck wontons. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was pretty good. I loved the fries. I think they were hand cut, but I could be wrong. We had a great dinner!

The atmosphere inside is pretty cool. I just wanted to try one of their beers and then resume onwards to the north so I didn't get anything to eat here. I got some of their Prohibition Blonde Ale which was good. Flavor features with this was an essence of peach, sweetness, juicy and fruity. The beer was light bodied, exactly what I was desiring and enjoyed. I was eager to take a canned beer home with me but alas their machinery that did this particular task was broken so hopefully that gets resolved for those who want to take beer home with them.

It's got that real tart cherry bite like a sour should, but it's still smooth and easy to drink. Not syrupy sweet, not "punch-you-in-the-mouth" sour... just right. I could sit there and drink those all night, which is probably why it's a good thing I don't live next door. The crew there makes it even better. Margo, the bartender, is awesome--friendly, quick, and actually knows what she's pouring. Kat, the manager, keeps everything running smooth without it feeling all uptight. And shoutout to Ben and Darrin, the owners, because they built a place that feels welcoming and local, not like some fancy "look but don't touch" brewery. If you like sours, go grab a Garden Kriek. You'll thank me later.

We loved the large lot & it's nice to have options for those larger vehicles to visit, even if not staying. The raised deck allows for a spectacular view & was still occupied when we left. I can see why it would be hard to walk away from it! Several beers were tapped out &, sadly, due to an equipment malfunction, we weren't able to get either nitro option - thus - Danger Noodle (4.25) & Gruner Bock (4.25) were the brews we went with.

From the outside this brand new building looks beautiful. There are firepits and heaters on an outdoor patio (although at 7 degrees last night nobody would brave the weather to sit outside). Walking into the building, it sure sounded like a pub. Friday night and the place was packed. The entrance allows for two choices. You can sit in the brand new, raised floor restaurant area to the left, or the more traditional, newly remodeled pub area on the right. Because of the crowds and the noise, we chose to sit in the pub area, which looked out onto the bowling alley through thick glass which did not transmit the sound. This area is replete with dart boards and some video games, and a mix of tall and low seating choices. There were all types of people, from the Larry David-black turtleneck-and-blazer type to kids with metal in just about every orifice, a pair of cowboys at the bar, and even single women out for a drink. Overall the place was full of happy people! The menu offered a variety of mega calorie and carb laden choices like Irish Nachos (with potato fries instead of tortilla chips) lots of burger selections, grilled sandwiches. Being completely contrary (and on a diet) I ordered the grilled chicken salad. It came with a side of chipotle blue cheese dressing. I really couldn't say much about the salad, the chicken was freshly grilled which was nice, but the greens were strictly the kind out of a store-bought bag complete with slivers of cabbage, and some tiny diced tomatoes, bacon crumbles and the odd black olive. I was disappointed, it could have been so much better. Instead, it merely gave a passing nod to those of us who chose to not eat chili-cheese fries. Still it was a nice experience, largely due to the cleanliness, a pleasant and efficient waitress and some amazing scenery that I owe strictly to the patrons. Go for the atmosphere, not the food.

They've also changed their menu quite a few times since inception. First off it's a beautiful restaurant with a nice large parking lot and you'll be seated by a hostess on either the dining room side or the large bar/dining area on the other half of the restaurant. There's many large comfortable booths to sit in unless you want a table which there's plenty of too. Also high top tables for 4/6/8 available on the bar side or you can just sit at the very large bar that's three sided with 60 seats. The bar side is full of TVs. And generally has music videos as well as sports on. After getting seated by your hostess, expect you will get a great experience from your server as they take pride in training their staff very well here and I've never had a bad experience with a server in probably 20/25 visits here. The menu is a little all over the place now there are some interesting and tasty appetizers. The cheese logs and the fried green tomatoes seem to be most people's favorite appetizers. The chicken wings are pretty good though there are limited flavors available. They do an amazing happy hour menu with great appetizer deals as well as good drink deals if you have the opportunity to stop in during this time of day. I think where they shine is with their burgers. I've had some very delicious burgers there. I've also had good Italian type food with their rigatoni , manicotti and their Stromboli's. Their pizza used to be really excellent. And now it's a little hit and miss depending on which type you get. They have their own woodfired pizza Grill, which has the potential to make amazing crust. However, they tend to get ratios of cheese and meats a little off sometimes. The bison chili and the duck gumbo are both pretty good. It's not traditional Cajun gumbo but it's still a pretty delicious soup. I've had a few bad soups here, including the beer cheese and some of the other cheese soups, which were not completely cooked down and were gritty with flour base still noticeable. The fried fish is also a stand out dish that they do. And a lot of people really like their steaks and steak salad. Overall, this is a great place to bring your family or a large group of friends or even a elegant birthday party. You know you'll get taken really good care of and other than it's more on the expensive side you know exactly what you're gonna get every time highly recommended and if you're getting a cocktail, I recommend the huckleberry Mojito. Recommended.
