Attached to, but separate from, the El Mark-o bowling alley this pub style restaurant was opened late 2011 by the Galloway brothers. It was my first visit last night. From the outside this brand new building looks beautiful. There are firepits and heaters on an outdoor patio (although at 7 degrees last night nobody would brave the weather to sit outside). Walking into the building, it sure sounded like a pub. Friday night and the place was packed. The entrance allows for two choices. You can sit in the brand new, raised floor restaurant area to the left, or the more traditional, newly remodeled pub area on the right. Because of the crowds and the noise, we chose to sit in the pub area, which looked out onto the bowling alley through thick glass which did not transmit the sound. This area is replete with dart boards and some video games, and a mix of tall and low seating choices. There were all types of people, from the Larry David-black turtleneck-and-blazer type to kids with metal in just about every orifice, a pair of cowboys at the bar, and even single women out for a drink. Overall the place was full of happy people! The menu offered a variety of mega calorie and carb laden choices like Irish Nachos (with potato fries instead of tortilla chips) lots of burger selections, grilled sandwiches. Being completely contrary (and on a diet) I ordered the grilled chicken salad. It came with a side of chipotle blue cheese dressing. I really couldn't say much about the salad, the chicken was freshly grilled which was nice, but the greens were strictly the kind out of a store-bought bag complete with slivers of cabbage, and some tiny diced tomatoes, bacon crumbles and the odd black olive. I was disappointed, it could have been so much better. Instead, it merely gave a passing nod to those of us who chose to not eat chili-cheese fries. Still it was a nice experience, largely due to the cleanliness, a pleasant and efficient waitress and some amazing scenery that I owe strictly to the patrons. Listen up Casper. You have no idea what the difference is between an Irish pub and a sports bar. Galloway's is really neither. It's a small bar lumped into a casino and a bowling alley. The only reason this place merits 3 stars is that the food isn't bad, but it's fairly typical bar food. Just because a place pours Guinness and has some Irish sounding food items, doesn't make it an Irish pub. read more

On our second visit to Galloway's I was more impressed than the first time. For an Irish pub, ITS CLEAN! The service is quick and friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The menu is mostly bar food but does have some Irish options: banners & mash, reuben etc. Decent beer selection for Wyoming but nothing out of the ordinary for Casper. read more

These guys really need to take the word Irish away from their title. Little shamrocks are on the menu in front of the so-called Irish dishes. They should change them to little turds. It's not only not close to real Irish food, but just downright awful. Bartenders act as wait staff, so don't expect a refill. Skip it. read more

The Employee filled up the regulars 3 times in the time she got to us once. The owner stopped and said they did not have enough staff and was working on getting more staff. He was really nice, however the waitress was not worth even leaving a tip for. Food was okay, I have had better read more

The food in this place is horrendous, I had just driven 6 hours from wolf point MT the only place where the food is worse than this place and I found myself wishing I had hit a deer on the way down because there was hundreds of them and road kill would have been an improvement on what they serve in this awful excuse for a plastic paddy Irish pub. I should have know better, Montana and Wyoming are populated by terrible restaurants and gastric cancer causing food. The bartender was helpful and efficient, pity there are no decent places in these 2 states for him to work. read more

This is a bar not really a pub at all. The food is not irish at all. Very misleading when you go in. When I say it is a bar it is you cannot bring your family in to eat and it is really not very good anyways....so it you are out to drink go ahead but it isn't cheap.... WILL NOT BE BACK read more

Good food at a decent price. The place is a bar and kids are not allowed so keep that in mind. Not what I would consider an Irish pub but a nice bar with TVs to catch a game on and good food. read more

I would actually give this restaurant a 3.5 because they do not allow kids. I went with four because there is a mini restaurants in the bowling alley that has the same menu. Other than that, great service, fun atmosphere, good food. I had the green chili veggie burger, yum. Will definitely return. read more

Irish bar that doesn't have murphy's on draft... or in cans... hmmm I question this places authenticity as an Irish pub

It is hard to write anything but the service as we never received any. We waited for 15 minutes at our table as the waitress walked by several times and would not even acknowledge us. She then went and sat and greeted a table that came in way after us. So we left. Won't be back. read more
