I bought my car a little over 2 months ago. Although I greatly appreciated the help when purchasing a few things happened that ruined the whole experience. 1- I haven't even driven 1000 miles, and the transmission started making a noise. I took it there, complained, was told they would reach out and they never did. 2- I was told the transmission in my car is new, but after it started acting up, they told me the previous owner said it was new and they had no proof. 3. After taking my car to their shop twice, the mechanic downplayed the noise and starting saying things like "it's a lot of work", "it'll be very expensive", and "you could spend all that money opening up and there's no guarantee we can fix the issue". These all sound like excuses to me. If I had purchased a $2000.00 car I would not be complaining but I spend $14,000.00 on a car that I was told had new parts, when they had no proof, and now that the transmission acting up nobody wants to help. read more

Worst experience ever, don't even know where to begin!!! I bought a Nissan Maxima and within a month had all type of issues. Got a full diagnostics and found out that this had been an on going issue with the car but had know idea because the codes were erased. Also found out that they had Reset the car's odometer (mileage). The car only lasted 3 months before I had no other option then just getting it junked. I would rate it negative stars if I could. This place has been horrible since the beginning. Have been there several times with car issues that are never fixed, the car has had so many computer errors, the camshaft is messed up, and the car has stopped running on my daughter twice. This is the most unreliable piece of crap ever. All these people do is scam everyone, and get away with all this shit because of the "no lemon law" on used cars like there is in Florida to protect people from this shit. They are very nice until you pay them a large cash deposit and drive the vehicle off of the lot. Had the truck for a few weeks and then was rear ended. They lied to me about an agreed pay off amount. My insurance company paid them the full amount and now they want more cash from me before they will send me my title. They tried to say it was my insurance company. This company will make you feel so welcome and may seem like they are trying to help but it is a total scam. We got a car and in less then 6 days after having the car and making arrangements with the dealer they picked up the car with no warning and left me and my children stranded and were none responsive when I called and texted them 1000 times. If I can give them NO STARS I would! Just because a person has bad credit doesn't mean take advantage of them. I gave $3,500 down and got stock with a $600 monthly payment, how is that possible on top of that they wanted $1,500 more for a 2015 car that the battery came dead, the lights on the car barely lite up while driving, the horn sounded as if it was dying out as if it was a horn on a bike. The low tire light came on and they gave me less then a half tank of gas and sent me on my way. This place WILL scam you. They will lie about paperwork. They will lie about everything they can if they think it will help them push a sale. Most of the vehicles there are junk, if it's not junk, they are charging you 2.5/3x market value for it. Go to any place but here or you will regret it. Also, these ratings on here are not accurate, if you look at most of the profiles that have given good feedback you will be able to tell that they are not accounts. Shady dealerships/businesses will buy fake positive reviews to give people a false sense of comfort. There's a reason this company had to close their other dealership down. read more

Purchased a vehicle back in Dec for my son that was overpriced, but I trusted the owners and the sales rep mentioned nothing was wrong with the vehicle. We had the vehicle for only 6 months and had to have the vehicle serviced 4 times since the time of purchase. The engine light and numerous codes to have serviced a few times. Just to turn around and find out we purchased a vehicle with a faulty engine. My son's safety was compromised while in route home coming from work. The car was driven less than 4K miles and the engine seized. We have contacted the shop numerous times to speak with owner or manager since we did not purchase the car "As Is" but with a warranty. They did not want to honor the warranty but for me to pay an additional amount to have the issue fixed. All calls after have been ignored and never returned. The WORST place in the Lehigh Valley. RUN!!!!!!!!!! Back story: I got into an accident and needed a car ASAP. My old car was still showing on my credit report so I couldn't get another loan right away. Otherwise I would have NEVER looked at this place. Anyway.... They sucker you in by being nice and making you think the cars are mechanically safe. THEY AREN'T! My husband and me knew this place had a bad reputation in the past with faulty cars but the place got a face lift and their inventory was a nicer selection- cosmetically. The first night of buying the car it stalled and wouldn't turn back on the check engine light came on. We had to get it towed. They had the car for about a day. Claimed it was an oil cap. Car came back in my possession. I had the car looked over by a master mechanic- who stated a list of things including one of the major repairs that needed to be done was the high pressure fuel pump. So I waited I knew it was a matter of time before the check engine light came back on. And to no surprise within a few days the check engine light came back on as expected. At their expense they had the car towed back. They had the car for about 2 weeks. (Keep in mind at this point I already made a payment to them and I was only able to drive the car for about a week, because it wasn't drivable and sat) This time they claimed it was Purge Solenoid and O2 sensor. I refused to pick up the car I knew that wasn't the issue. I did a three way call with my master mechanic to talk to them. They blatantly ignored what he had advised and recommended in order to properly fix the car. They claimed what they repaired on the car fixed the issue and they were confident in their mechanic. I laugh at that. Within 2 weeks the check engine light came back on and the car started bucking. Along with the check engine light the control stabilization light came on. I filed a complaint with the PA Attorney generals office and received a copy of the letter that Whitehall Auto Sales replied back. They claimed that since the last repair they haven't heard anything from us so no news is good news. I laugh at that as well. That is definitely not the outcome. REAL OUTCOME: I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE.. REFUSE to let anyone from that dealership touch that car again. Since the last time they touched (And I say touched because they never properly repaired the issues) I have spent over $2000 to repair my car properly including replacing the HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP!!! They are one of the most incompetent and ignorant dealerships (if dealership is what you want to even call them) that I have ever dealt with. Although now that I think of it maybe I'm the stupid one I should have kept taking the car there, so they could have kept replacing unnecessary parts on it until the real issue was fixed. I strongly recommend running away from this place!!! Save yourself the irritation, and your hard working money. And a word of advise: As a "dealership" if you're going to buy cars from the auction down the road that's great and all but make sure they are in working condition with no mechanical issues. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could . BUYER BEWARE is the best advice i could give someone. I purchased a 2005 Ford Escape from them in February 2016 for $5600( no financing paid with a cashiers check) and right away there were problems. The airbag light was on and they told me " its no big deal dont worry they always come on" , theres was a vibrating from underneath the car and later turned into a grinding sound which they told me was just the tires because trucks are agressive, and the ac only worked for 2 days. I brought it back a total of 4 times and everytime they just told me it was something small but they didnt cover it under their 90 day warranty but could direct me somewhere to go and get it fixed but I'd have to pay. Finally i took it to a reputable shop and they told me it was my transfer case or known as the PTO. They told me it was bad for a long period of time before i even bought it and the place who sold it to me couldnt have missed that if they put it up on a lift and looked up. There was oil and dirt all over the underneath of the transmission from where it had been leaking for quite some time . They called Ford and the part was $3500, and between $500 and $700 for labor. I called Whitehall Auto Sales back to let them know this has been the problem the whole time . I bought tires and paid for an alignment plus all the fees of diagnostics and that wasnt the problem at all. They proceeded to tell me" well your warranty was up last week and theres nothing we can do . were looking at what we paid for it and what we sold it to you for and theres no way were paying out of our pocket" . So thats why I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Go to a real establishment with real mechanics. I've contacted the Better Business Beuraugh and will warn everyone on every review i can so this doesnt happen to them. read more

This place is terrible. We got lied to from the moment we bought the car and the people working there continued to change their story. The shifter would not go into the gears correctly, they said they fixed it. We didn't even get it the whole way home before it started acting up again. When confronted about it, they said it was to expensive to fix. Soon after we started having engine trouble, we brought it in to their "mechanic" who "fixed" it and we were told we would only have to pay half of the charge, which we did that day we picked it up. On the next bill the remaining charge had been added. We decided to give it back to them after that. The day we returned it, we asked about the plate and the sales person said " oh we will send it back." Shouldn't have trusted them with that either because they never sent it back. This place is a joke!!! Financed a car from here the next day engine light came on. Took it back they claimed they fixed it but seems like all they did was turn off the engine light. Next day it came back on. Had the car 9 days took it back and got my money back. They're own mechanic stopped me in the parking lot and said they scam everyone who gets a car. They remove the battery to turn off engine light, they lost their inspection license for scamming so now they get fake emission and inspection stickers from the local car auction down the st from them. I wouldn't refer anyone to this place. Their sales man is 79 years old and sells you dreams than when you meet with their finance person Joe he makes a mess out of it all... They went as far as asking us to pay them 50 dollars to make a fake direct tv bill to show proof my mother lives with us. They are scam artist. Beware of the snakes!! read more
