Finding the needed part online at a better price, I called him back, and he was happy to just charge me for the work if I brought in the part. When I did bring it in about a week later, it so happened that my tire had sprung a leak the day before too, so he fixed both issues and put everything back nicely in its place. I appreciate his honesty and skill in his trade, as well as the reasonable rates. I'll likely bring my car back for future service!

I was in a bit of a predicament when I accidentally took off a lady's driver side mirror in my personal vehicle. It was to a 2004 BMW 325ci. Thinking that it would only cost me between $300-$400 to have it fixed and replaced, I didn't file an insurance claim due to my deductible being $500. I spoke with Ryan directly. He unfortunately related that the mirror is gonna cost me $1,060 (parts and labor). The mirror from BMW's website was around $950. Ryan informed me BMW no longer makes that mirror and he had to order it directly from BMW's website, which didn't even include the glass. Ryan gave me an option to find one cheaper on the internet. Which I found two options, one for $650 on eBay motors and the other was $200 on Amazon, but the part numbers didn't match. Apparently that year and model BMW has 24 different style mirrors, depending whether it's a coupe or a convertible. Needless to say, Ryan was able to find one on eBay for around $210, with the matching part numbers. Ryan then got the lady's permission to order that mirror. In total the whole job cost me $367, a lot better than the $1,060 that I was originally quoted. I am extremely grateful for the extra effort Ryan put forth looking to help both parties out in this unfortunate situation. It also saved me from having to file an insurance claim, and all the headaches I would've had to deal with my insurance company afterwards. These days it's rare to find an auto shop and mechanics that have the integrity and compassion that Ryan and the rest of his team have. I greatly appreciate it!

He actually told me he "had to break my ABS sensors to put the clutch in"! GTFOH. I sued him in court and won. Of course, a YEAR LATER, I still have not gotten a penny from him. It at least is against him as a collection/lean so hopefully no one will give him credit for a loan until it's paid. I should have known when he kept asking to be paid in cash. Thankfully I was smarter than that and paid by credit card most of it. I was able to get back the $1700 I put on my credit card. I got a message from someone this week that he did $6-7k in damage to their car too and is refusing to fix it! I'm not the only review with the same problem either. Seriously...NOT worth trying to save some money by going here.

I called 8 places. Thankfully the 7th place gave me the number for this Pep Boys. I called and they said yeah we got them. So I was like when can I get them done? He said anytime just bring it over. So I took a personal day and hopped in the SUV. I came over and they took the car in almost immediately. Not to mention they were $100 cheaper than the other spots that were willing to order the tire for me. So my impatient attitude worked out for once. While waiting for my vehicle I perused the aisles in search of wiper blades. I heard someone behind me ask if "you" have starter kits. I didn't turn around until I realized the guy was talking to me. So he repeated the question. I said I didn't work there and he apologized and pointed at his collar. Insinuating that since I'm wearing a polo I work here. But I don't think Pep Boys employees wear polos. It took a little over an hour. I couldn't have done it without the boys today.

I'm sure this will be a traffic problem spot in the future with how busy Posh has been so far. Really grateful for a new nicer gas station and looking forward to all they have to offer in the future!
