He was able to plug the tire with his new technique of using a rubber screw with cement I believe it was to give us a temporary fix. He was very informative of what steps he was taking to try to fix it. Even though it was very late Nathan showed up and was so nice. If you have tire issues, need fuel, locked out of your car, or a jump start Nathan with Avid road service is the place to call!

This work was done on 4/28/2026. It is 6/12/2026 and the welds failed and the exhaust needs to be rewelded. When I called and spoke with them the gentleman who answered the phone said that he would repair it for free however I am many many miles away and that is unrealistic. He gave me the owners phone number. I called him and explained the situation. I asked for a refund on the repair, he then accused me of being rude and yelling at him, I did not do either of those things. He said that if I send him photos of the failed weld he would work with me as long as I am not rude. I was not rude in the first place and I was explaining to him in a very calm and even tone that I was not trying to be rude and was just explaining the situation to him, He hung up on me. I believe they knew I was an out of towner and didn't take the time and effort to do the repairs correctly or adequately. I do not recommend this business.

Two tow trucks came…read moreout and left huge gashes and drag marks in my lawn and scattered all of the cinder blocks I had stacked up (we're building a retaining wall) because they were in the way. No regards whatsoever for private property, didn't ask my permission, didn't repair the damage and didn't put my blocks back where they found them. It wasn't my vehicle and it wasn't my problem but they destroyed my property and made extra work for me because I had to restack the blocks, but hey, anything to make their lives easier is the general mindset of service people in Charleston. If I ever do need a tow, I won't be calling these people.
