Lox on sourdough instead of bagel, banana bread French toast.

We had a nice peaceful breakfast on the patio. Our server was friendly and pleasant, my London dog was delicious and served in a cute mug, and the food was pretty tasty too!

La Brea Salad was a tad heavy-handed on the house vinaigrette, which was too thick in texture

We originally went to Rockwater Grill & Bar two doors down, but were aggravated by the amount of noise there + lack of ambiance, so we decided to dine here -- oh, what a breath of fresh air as ambiance here is quiet, classy even. We began with the vegan spinach dip, which was made of cashews, spinach, artichoke, miso, vegan mozarella + tortilla chips. This was DELICIOUS. You forget that it's even vegan as it packed so much flavor! We were, however, disappointed that the chips were store-bought. For $24.75 CAD, you'd think it'd be housemade corn tortilla chips. Definitely overpriced for an appetizer. We also had the poutine (beef gravy), because when in Canada. This Quebecois dish is delicious when made right. Though the gravy here was flavorful, we found most of the fries soggy and the cheese curds could have been squeakier. We rate this 7/10. We ordered the Bistro Burger -- solid, tasty, and a small order of the La Brea Salad, which was made of arugula, pomegranate, roasted heirloom carrots, toasted pumpkin seeds, goat cheese, dill sour cream + house vinagrette. It was large for a "small," and was perfect to share. Though presentation was nice, the house vinaigrette was too thick and heavy-handed. Also, the dill sour cream did nothing to enhance the dish as it lacked flavor. For drinks, we ordered the Bow + Arrow cocktail -- mezcal, bourbon, pineapple, lime + mint, as well as Icefields Pale Ale by local Whitetooth Brewing Co. right here in Golden. The Pale Ale was quite good. The Bow + Arrow cocktail, however, tasted like a pineapple margarita. It wasn't bad, but we certainly did not taste any mezcal and we'd been to Oaxaca, Mexico 5X where we fell in love with mezcal there. It could have used a stronger or smokier mezcal + some garnish would have been more eye-catching. Service was prompt. Not super friendly or conversational, but efficient.

It was a chilly morning but we sat on the patio outside the bistro. Nice patio right on main street downtown with a good view of the mountains and we watched sky divers ! The Cali eggs Benedict was very good!

Delicious lunch and great service! I had a very tasty salmon sandwich and hubby had a yam burger. Very flavorful!!!

Cold vermicelli salad and cucumber fizz mocktail.

Cozy bistro with great service, tasty fresh food, and excellent vegan options. We stopped in for dinner after a crazy delay on Highway 1 and this restaurant made our day! Try the Cucumber Fizz mocktail!

Cold outside Wet with intermittent downpours of rain Raw mountain day at 39 degrees... We sought out refuge from the elements while looking for a nice quality meal. This spot didn't disappoint at all :) Very nice atmosphere we arrived just at the rush of lunch. Food quality was good with innovative dishes offered in a nice space with good service. We left with more to explore and don't regret our choice to visit Whitetooth for lunch.

The burger is a must try! The broccoli salad was also super yummt

This place is a gem in the town of Golden BC. The food was great and they had plenty of patio seating that was distanced, making it a great option during COVID. My friend and I split the burger and broccoli salad because having balance is important! We obviously had to pair the burger with poutine, which was incredibly satisfying after a long day of hiking. Frankly, there aren't that many options in Golden, but if you're struggling to pick a place to eat, I'd choose this place!

Pork chop, pork is sooooo dry! 27 bucks( omg, left bank's pork chop is much better)

Food quality is good, but the service is totally worse than any of the restaurant I have ever eaten. Slow and lazy service. The whole dinner service without appetizer and desert takes about 2 hours! And at the end, it took the waiter 10min to give us the card machine to pay the check (and the card machine is right on the water station) food looks so pretty but they are definitely not worth of the money. Pork chop is dry, wild mushroom is too salty, steak has no taste! With the same amount of money, we can have way much better service and food from other restaurants in town (like turning point) than this! I would definitely avoid this place!

They have the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever tasted. Pair it with carrot ginger soup instead of French fries (much more healthier :-)

I will say the views of Lake Louise from the restaurant are quite lovely. We were seated inside and it was cozy and comfortable. Customer service was excellent, our server, Joe was absolutely wonderful. Joe was very friendly and was able to help us out with our questions, deciding on entrees to order and he checked in occasionally during our lunch. The lunch menu has a fair amount of options for starters and entrees. I was curious about the pasta dish, but thought the cost was a bit high. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and caesar salad (which is made at your table) and it was good. I was not a fan of the seasoning of the chicken but the salad was great. My mom had ordered the fish and chips and was impressed with the portions and the texture and flavor. She enjoyed her entree along with a french onion soup. We also split a key lime tart, which was a good balance of sweet and tart. Overall, a great meal and dining experience. I'd recommend visiting Lakeview Lounge if you're interested in enjoying a delicious, memorable meal with scenic views.

The AAA Alberta beef was incredibly tender and juicy. Alberta really knows its beef! The chicken was unfortunately a bit dry, but the Caesar salad definitely made up for it.
