I don't normally rate this low as Yelp guides me to businesses I like. But, I stopped at Jerry's Express because it was on my way and was not very happy with the results of running my car through this wash experience. The LCD touch screen self-service display was situated in such a way that the sun's reflection made it nearly impossible to see. The attendant had to come over and guide me through the choices. I appreciated the help and went with the $8 wash: "Tires & Wheels". Entering the tunnel was typical of the self-drive washes. I thought I heard some grinding from one of my wheels at one point, hopefully not. I drive a 350Z, which is low to the ground. But, it shouldn't grind. The wash proceeded normally and I went to the free vacuums, which are always a welcome thing. Suction was strong and I was able to quickly clean my seats and floorboards. As I was, I noticed that my front license plate was creased outward on both ends. I've never seen this before in the eight years I've owned this car. Also, there were strips of grit along the very lowest few inches of the front quarter panels behind the front wheels, and more on the front and rear bumpers. If I'd brought a towel with me I could have easily wiped these areas, but I'd prefer not to. I've purchased low-end washes before that did not crease my license plate or leave grit in specific areas. I am taking a star away because we just got the crappiest $4 car Wash ever. I had the misfortune of parking under a tree laden with birds. Our car was covered. I'm usually pretty happy with the $4 rinse AKA wash, but not this time. The bird poop was just too much for the system.It also did a lousy job on the back end of the car. The back end hardly looked rinsed at all. I did not need the vacuums this time and perhaps that would have saved a star. I just could not let this disappointing $4 go unmentioned. I went through this car wash on May 6th, afterwards my car was absolutely disgusting still, not even remotely clean after their $15 wash, not to mention the big scuff on my two week old car. For $3, you can get a basic wash that is comparable to you either self-spray and handwash at a car wash off of Western Center Blvd any day, or take advantage of the various upgrades offered at Jerry's for a few dollars more. This is the worse car wash experience in my life. My side mirror got damaged while receiving the service. They never apologize my loses, never compensated, never returned calls back and while I was expressing my frustration manager of this particular location was smiling / laughing at me. I attached proof that my mirror was just fine before taking service. I was able to take picture from their cameras. Never never never never do business with them. It might happen to you. Paid for the second most expensive car wash, "The Works" and didn't get the back of my SUV or rims clean at all, leaving dirt and dirty marks from the equipment. I didn't have that dirty of a car when I came in, but had a much more noticeable dirty car on the first pass. They offered for me to go through again, which the end result is shown in pictures. Not bad people I believe, just not the best functioning equipment. Not happy with spending so much and having to redo most of it by hand and still having to pay. read more

Pretty self explanatory but I'll give you the low-down: You pull up and join the line of cars waiting for their wash. When its your turn at the pay station, you select your wash and pay. After paying you are directed into the car wash by employees who will tape down your back wiper and assist you in lining your wheels up accordingly. After making it through the wash, you pull into a vacuum spot and enjoy endless minutes of free vacuuming. You can throw all your trash into the provided trash cans and then drive off with a clean car!! Now, let me tell you that you CAN get a wash for $3, however, if you are with someone like my husband you will end up adding some upgrades which raises the price of your wash but you can still expect it to be anywhere from $3-$15 depending on your selections. I love the free vacuums!! If the line appears long, which it often does, don't fret! Car wash damaged my tire pressure monitoring stem cap which caused it to break off during the wash. The stem cap was ripped out of the tire valve and caused the air to leak out. I drove a block before I realized the tire was flat. The tire was damaged beyond repair, the tire pressure monitor sensor had to be replaced. $168 tire repair and the manager of the car wash doesn't want to claim any responsibility. For the SECOND time our car was damaged. The first time our antennae "fin" at the rear of the roof got pulled off. They gave the run around and eventually would not fix it. Yesterday the spinning brushes caught in the gap between the fender and the rear plastic bumper cover pulling it off. Pictures were taken, their video image reviewed with manager and a picture taken of that video when completing that damage report with on-site manager. Drove up to a line of cars, but it moved really quickly and cars are able to enter carwash pretty much one right after another. I HAD to get a RainX upgrade because even though I kept pushing decline, it wouldn't register, so I finally just accepted the upgrade. It was $2, so not a huge deal, but still annoying. I just needed to run it through and get the stuff off not to ruin my paint . I am very disappointed as there is still bird shit all over my car and windshield . Do NOT waste your money here . I'm not entirely sold on this place. I'd give it a 2.5, if I could. This place is good: 1. For the free, very strong vacuums. 2. For the cheap prices. This place would be great... IF: A. You wash your car on a regular basis. B. You don't have any bugs stuck to your hood/bumper. C. Your car is not white or black. OR: D. You don't mind getting a cheap carwash and cleaning the remaining dirt off of your car afterwards. AND: You don't mind a carwash that is a little rough on your car. In her defense, it sounded like my car was being pelted. I'm sure, in her mind, my car was being torn apart and we were going to be eaten by whatever pack of savage creatures was destroying my vehicle. (She's a small dog; I'm pretty sure she always fears the worst.) Obviously, we survived...as did my car, much cleaner than it was. (...just not entirely) I paid for the $7 wash. I think this one covers the normal car wash, plus the undercarriage and wheels. I didn't want any finishing extras, if I didn't even know if my car was going to get completely clean. (There is no point in sealing the dirt to my car.) Minus the nice collection of bugs on my front end (and side mirrors), my rims, and several spots on the backend of my car... it was considerably cleaner. Still, I wasn't in the mood (or attire) to clean the remaining 15% of my car. (That might be a generous figure.) I included a couple of pics, so you get the idea. You really can't go wrong with one of the Jet extreme car washes for $12. It really does make a difference you can see. The vacuums here are really great and powerful. This location is typically very busy and they don't seem to get the cars through very fast so there is almost always a backup. read more

It's your typical fast drive thru car wash. What is nice is that for $4 you get the salt off the underneath of your car. If you want your car really clean, maybe not your best option but for a quick rinse its cheap and effective. read more

Ths tire dressing they put on the tires ends up all over the bottom of the car. If attracts dirt like glue, drys and becomes very difficult to remove, (will not come off in the carwash, must be hand scrubbed). I asked to have the tire dressing removed from my wash, but that only worked half the time. I finally decided that I don't want to be a customer anymore so I cancelled my recurring payment for the monthly plan. Today I was charged anyway. I tried to contact the home office but they have no phone number available to pesky customers. Instead you have to fill out there "customer survey". I don't know if I will get my $29.99 back or not, but I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to do it. Maybe I will picket there facility this weekend. read more

IF I COULD GIVE 1 STAR I WOULD! They are VERY unprofessional. Their equipment damaged my Dodge Challenger and because the the manager claims it's a after market part (take into consideration he didn't even take a look at the car while saying this) they cannot compensate. The authorities had to get called and we will be seeking legal action because this is completely absurd! This manager needs to be REPLACED with someone who cares about the consumers, he fails to remember that he gets a paycheck because of the business the consumers bring in. If he really had one clue on what his job role consists of he would know that customer service is REQUIRED! If you lack certain customer service competencies you should not be "running" this place. I don't care if the the damage costs a couple hundred dollars or a couple thousand, IF YOUR EQUIPMENT DAMAGES MY CAR YOU NEED TO PAY TO FIX IT! Jerry's Best is no better than Jerry's Worst (the 4 dollar wash) You pay 16 dollars and the tires don't get treated and all the other stuff they say you are getting you don't get! It's okay, wouldn't suggest to bring your car here. The bristles are too rough on the car, it damaged one of my windshield wipers. Don't pay extra- attendants don't do anything. There was still dirt on the car when the wash was done, even with the upgrades. The end of the car wash was so dirty that the blow dryers were blowing dirt and leaves all over the "clean" car. Sheesh, this place does not have it together.
