They treated me like a true neighbor and discovered the secret to why the tire was loosing air. A bad stem AND a bent rim, no doubt caused by these great roads we have here. So, after less than 1500 miles, I decided to go to a different oil change facility and have changed again. At this new shop, I was asked how many miles I had on this oil change because the oil was dark and sludgy, as they commented on my bill. I wish I could have taken the Meineke oil and spent another $100 to analyze it. With 1500 miles on it, Meineke's new oil is practically impossible to be that dark and sludgy on a new car. Was it ever changed? If it was, what kind of oil they replaced it with? Was the proper weight? Was it fully synthetic since it is what I paid for? What brand of oil did they use? I asked, and it took some time to give me the answer. The shop doesn't have a poster that states the oil it uses. Bad, Bad, Bad!
