I finally find my way to that part of Ohio and we stop in to have some wonderful custard. It was such a huge disappointment !!! It is hard frozen and scooped , not a creamy softer texture scoop that true great custard is known for. And I must add that my two scoops weren't even equal to a full single round scoop at most other places. My mother's was the same . Terrible experience.

I lived in the tristate area until I was 25 years old but somehow missed out. During the first half of the football game I kept seeing fans walking back to their seats with a container that looked like it could be ice cream. Halftime arrived and my friend and I went to grab some snacks. There it was, the Austin's sales booth.
